Well, I didn't hate it, but it did annoy me at times.

This is a novella about two best friends who are in love. They go on two honeymoon trips with each other after breakups. There is a lot of game playing that really becomes annoying throughout. They are supposed to be best friends, but they don't really communicate well for being best friends. I don't know. The characters were terribly, just tended to grate on my nerves at times. There was a bit of humor, but only once did I really laugh out loud. This one was just okay to me. It did end well, but seriously, just quit playing games already!

Whenever I get a book from netgalley (who I love, BTW) I try to be as kind as possible to the authors. Its not like I could write a whole book, and these people took the time out of their busy schedules to put pen to paper. So it pains me to say this book needed a lot of extra time and work. The story is not funny or even good. The characters are almost blank and the settings are bland. Especially considering the choices of locations. Worse? Its not funny.
The heroine (and I use that term kindly) is a horrible person. She leads her best friend on even though she knows he is in a committed relationship with someone else. She plays mind games with men and not even very well. The hero (once again I use that term kindly) is a wimp. He knows she is a terrible person and still allows her to play her games. He throws tons of his hard earned money at her (he earned it on oil rigs, people!) like its nothing.
Like I said, I don't like to be discouraging to authors, so I will end by saying he should take the time to develop the story more and look at this like a very loose first draft.

A wonderful quick read that has voodoo shifters and a fight for freedom mixed with true mates. I greatly enjoyed the history and the modern aspects of the story and how past generations we're involved. The live that ran through out the story was breathtaking and romantic in the file of fighting for what is right.

ARC Review: Received for free via Netgalley for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

CW: use of the word transgendered, smoking (mostly pot), alcohol consumption while pregnant

I wasn't feeling this at all. Like it's an okay book and whatever, but it's so rushed and kind of meh and super cliché and it did the same thing twice and with the same tired energy which nah. I was kind of disappointed and underwhelmed by it. And Kindle messed the way it's set out, it looked weird, so worse and worse.

I'm not convinced where the comedy was in this short story. Patty is a generally silly little girl, playing games and wondering why she gets hurt all the time, who's pining after her best (male) friend, whilst never bring honest with him.
I was honestly actively rooting against her by the time they were in Iceland, I am, who acts like that ?? (By the pool, I mean) nevermind all the other stupid stuff she does.
I just plain disliked this story. Women aren't really this stupid. Except for the (very occasional) minority. Thank heavens !!

I was grateful to receive this ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion #netgalley

I loved this fast-paced, beautifully written book, both light-hearted and moving. There were many moments when I was taken aback by the depth of insight into love and longing, but even these were always written with lightness and grace. And what adventures these two lovers have! Cambodia, Iceland, India and more... Wonderful book, with kind, plucky, unexpected characters and an exotic romp through some of the most magical places in this world.

Not really a book of my liking. If I want to read sci-fi - I want to know it is scifi and would like more fantasy in the story. This one kind fell inn between. The comedy wasnt really funny and I wanted the heroine to be a better person and not play games or be manipulative. I thought this would be a fun, enjoyable easy read, but was disappointed.

I thought it was a cute read, and kept wondering if these two will ever get together, because if something can mess up it did......I give it 3 1/2

I was really looking forward to reading a romantic comedy. Four Moons fell way short in the comedy department as well as character development, and editing. Very disappointed.
