The bridge is out for Adventism. Church leaders voted themselves power in a hierarchical structure against Ellen White’s counsel in 1903. She wrote, “How is the faithful city become a harlot?” 8T 250. In 1905 she wrote the apostasy would continue until the Lord comes-- Special Testimony, Series B, but leaders burned that book at the GC, as related to the author by BT Anderson, retired custodian 30 years ago. It fulfilled her warning that Jer 36 would be repeated, (burning of Jeremiah’s scroll) “Let all who desire to receive warning read carefully…” The apostasy is seen in multiple areas. A for Abortion. The Adventist Health System does abortions. The church is the wicked woman taken to Shinar (Tower of Babel) by two women (Catholics & Evangelicals) that have stork wings (protective of their young) in Zech 5:6-11. B is for Name. In Shinar, they also wanted a name, Gen 11:4. The SDA Church trademarked the name and put Chick McGill in prison (like the beast?) for calling his church Creation SDA Church but not giving tithe to the GC. Churches must be recognized by the GC to use the name. C is for Acceditation. Yielding to the AMA to teach pharmacology in Loma Linda when Ellen White said “No” was like Israel wanting a king to be like the other nations when God was their King. This affected secondary education. Now when the world doesn’t know what it’s doing in education, Adventists have nothing to show--we copied them. D is for Rx drugs as a leading cause of illness and death. SDA hospitals were to use natural remedies to reform medical practice of the world, but they reformed us into their image--the image of the beast. Pharmakeia is the Greek word for sorcery in Rev 18:23. Again when the world is in crisis over healthcare, Adventist have nothing to say; we knew better. Adventists fail to see how history will repeat. God executed judgment no Egypt and took Israel to a covenant that made them His kingdom (Exod 19:5,6) and Bride Jer 3:14. Paul included the Exodus in “all those things happened to them for examples…ends of the world.” 1Cor 10:1,11. As sudden calamity fell on Egypt with a great cry at midnight, Ellen White says the midnight cry in Matt 25:6 is ‘a sudden, unlooked-for calamity’ that brings us face to face with death. COL 412 Luke’s wedding parable has triple Passover imagery with “loins girded” (Lk 12:35; Exod 12:11) and “watching” (gregoreo means to be awake as they were in Egypt, Exod 12:10) and Lk 12:37 is like the Last Supper, also on the eve of Passover. That night was a microcosm of end-time events as the disciples slept instead of watching and ran, scattered like sheep as Christ foretold, citing Zechariah. We should see this coming in Dan 12:7. There’s an important modification for Passover. Christ’s closing parables, “as the days of Noah” point to judgment with Passover timing in the 2nd spring month. “THEN” same time, two in the field; one taken (martial law if we look at Lk 17:37?) The evil servant begins to smite his fellows. THEN [same time] it’ is like 10 virgins and when five miss the wedding, eido means ‘you don’t understand because it’s like a long journey. This is a provision for Passover a month later in Numbers 9:10,11. Christ was the One who took the long journey to heaven and His return will conform to His law of 2nd Passover in Numbers 9:10,11. Rome boasts of getting rid of Jewish festivals. Translators put an “is” in Col 2:17. The ‘body of Christ’ is the local church. Those times ‘are’ (not were) shadows of things to come. Paul kept those times with Greek believers in Acts 20:6; 1Cor 5:8. He said ‘follow me as I follow Christ.
