The Quicken Willmaker & Trust 2020 : book & software kit is an excellent comprehensive tool for those who need to either begin or update estate planning, naming powers of attorney for finances and/or healthcare. While it does not cover every situation for every state, it does give advice on when to check state laws governing certain areas, such as required signatures, it does contain specific information on requirements for health care directives for example. Even though I first became aware of this book through my local library, it will soon be on the shelves of my personal library and put to good use..

I'm sure the software will be easy to use and invaluable, but I don't recommend reading the entire 440-page manual that accompanies it. I read it and think it was a waste of time. It gives very simple information multiple times in chapters that frequently overlap with what other chapters covered. Instead, just work through the software and its organizational worksheets, and use the manual occasionally to double check on something you might be confused about. I only read the manual because my husband asked me to do so, and I am an exceptionally fast reader.
