I bought this book for my daughter, she is in highschool and was having an interest in computer programming. She read the book and seemed to enjoy it. So I decided to put her new knowledge to the test! I had her solve a few issues on an old laptop and she was able to find errors and get it back to working order. She wants to create her own website now for a school project. I heard about this book from a friend who is much more savy in this area than I am. I am impressed with how fast she was able to learn and apply her new skills just by reading the book and testing it out.I would reccomend this to anyone just starting out or having a hard time with technology. I am going to read it also so that I can keep up with her now !

Borrowed a copy from my brother, after his daughter had such luck with it.

I had a small coding project in mind so I used this to get started with Python. The examples in it are very lucid, and the dialogue is engaging. I really like how the chapters are small but build on previous chapters to help get to the more advanced topics.
