This is the fourth book in the Devil's Boneyard MC series.

Janessa
I’ve been in love with Seamus since the day I met him, even though I’d been fourteen at the time. Now that I’m an adult, I’m ready to go claim my man. Maybe I was stupid thinking he’d wait for me, or maybe I just really wanted a fairytale ending. Seeing another woman in his arms hurt like hell, so I ran…straight into trouble.

Irish
I met a girl years ago one who had me spellbound despite her young age. I kept my distance, knowing it was so damn wrong to be attracted to her, but looking in her eyes I could tell she had an old soul. Now she’s back and all grown up, so what did I do? Something stupid. I kissed another woman. When I hear Janessa’s been attacked, it feels like someone has ripped out my heart. Whatever it takes, I’ll make it up to her, and I will get justice for her one way or another.

Harley Wylde is the International Bestselling Author of the Dixie Reapers MC, Devil's Boneyard MC, and Hades Abyss MC series.

When Harley's writing, her motto is the hotter the better -- off the charts sex, commanding men, and the women who can't deny them. If you want men who talk dirty, are sexy as hell, and take what they want, then you've come to the right place. She doesn't shy away from the dangers and nastiness in the world, bringing those realities to the pages of her books, but always gives her characters a happily-ever-after and makes sure the bad guys get what they deserve.

The times Harley isn't writing, she's thinking up naughty things to do to her husband, drinking copious amounts of Starbucks, and reading. She loves to read and devours a book a day, sometimes more. She's also fond of TV shows and movies from the 1980's, as well as paranormal shows from the 1990's to today, even though she'd much rather be reading or writing.

Nope, just no... 5 years she waited for him (4 of them she was underage) while he was having sex with every woman he could. Then she went to see him and he fucked up big time kissing a club slut. They talked it out and everything went nice, until a teenager show up with her baby sister that is Irish daughter from a ONS 🤢🤢🤢 WTH?!?!?! Not only Nessa has to put out with the hurt of his manwhore past while she was thinking about their fairy tale and soulmates, that now she has that past on her face for life (poor baby was not at fault and Janessa accepted her since moment one) and the hurt that she is not the only one having his babies, at least not the first one...He hurt her too much 😔, he wasn’t redeemable IMO

Enjoyed Irish (Seamus) and Janessa's intense story. There were major bumps in the road but this couple endured and grew stronger with every problem hitting them! It was good to see all the MC series come together to help the Devil's Boneyard!

I can't wait for Cinder's story!

Taming the Wild Irish

Harley Wylde Devils Boneyard MC bk 04 Irish

I love this Dixie Reapers MC crossover as Janessa Rodriguez, Tex's daughter, makes her move on her long-time crush Seamus "Irish". Irish has gained a reputation that bites him a few times in this not-so-happy reunion.

To say the least, Irish is a fool on a couple of occasions. I do like that he steps up though.

"If you didn't want to see me, you could have told me to fuck off, Seamus. And, yes, I used your fucking name. You might have earned the name 'Irish' with your club, but you haven't earned shit with me."
-- Janessa Rodriguez

I love how Janessa stands up to the men around her, be it Seamus, CJ the prospect, her dad, or her attackers. She's got a backbone that makes several appearances. I love her fierceness and her big heart.

This was terrific but there needed to be more. At least another chapter or two after Pacen and Shella Murphy entered the scene really would've been great.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Umi Markkanen. She does a wonderful job all around.

Disappointing

The book was very repetitive with no characters development. We still don’t know what Irish looks like so it’s a bit difficult to visualize him. We don’t really know anything about him or his story. It’s alluded that Janeesa and him met a while back but we don’t know why not do we know that much about her either. I supposed you need to read other books to learn more but this book is supposed to be stand alone so it’s frustrating. As for the content it was a bit dull. The final fight was basically screams and that’s it. What is Janeesa planning to do with her life? Stay home and what?
It seems silly that she just left home on the off chance as for him with the girl it was more a high schooler behavior rather than a 32 year old man. Janeesa kept saying she was a grown woman but she behaved like a child. Running of in the dark without a conversation, just brushing over his behavior with no consequences and to top it all leaving the compound alone after having been attack and with a weapon again. They was no need to leave so fast with the girls without telling anyone. There was no urgency. Irish got upset with Killian but Janeesa was the irresponsible one. All in all not one for my collection

I enjoyed the sassiness of the heroine. She knew how to handle the tough MC hero. The storyline was great. Umi Markkanen narrated wonderfully.

I LOVED IT!
This series just keeps getting better. We meet Irish in a previous book and he's kind of a quiet guy who is in love with Janessa a girl he thinks he'll never be able to have because not only is she the daughter of a Dixie Reaper but she much younger than him but the first time they met they were head over heals in love with each other. Irish/Seamus wants to wait for her to come of age and Janessa knows in her heart that Irish is the only man for her. Then 4 years later Nessa comes of age but Irish decides she's deserves better than him and goes on a f**k her out of his system rampage and makes quite the reputation for himself as the guy who lays um and leaves um. Nessa is absolutely heartbroken that Irish never came for her and decides to go to him but what she finds is definitely not what she expected. What happens to Nessa broke my heart. I was crying and praying someone would show up. As the story goes I was so engrossed that before I knew it, it was 4 in the morning and the story was over. And again the book was too short. Don't get me wrong, you get a complete story filled with excitement and angst, laughter and tears and a wonderful ending but it will most definitely leave you wanting more. I EXTREMELY recommend this series to everyone.

Janessa has been in love with Seamus since she first saw him. She has waited 5yrs for him to come and claim her. Since he hasn’t made the next step, she goes to see him. But Seamus isn’t who she thought he was. Irish (Seamus) wanted to be with Janessa but the Prez of Dixie Reapers would rip his head off. That is his little girl. When Janessa gets hurt, Irish isn’t going to let the Reapers stop him from claim her. She has his heart.

When Janessa first got down there to see Seamus and saw what was going on, I was so upset with him. Then what happened after was so uncalled for. I mean seriously, who were these jerks. I’m glad the Reapers and the Devils were going to find out and kick butt. I thought these two were so cute from the beginning. You knew Seamus was trying so hard not to fall for her but it just wasn’t going to happen. I loved that we saw the true Seamus when he broke down. And Janessa had her head on right. She knew what she wanted. But I do think that Seamus should have spanked her butt for getting herself in danger.

i feel meeeh
i wouldn't say i hated this because of the F/M lead but i didn't like because of how the story it self did go , the F lead meet the M lead and they have a moment not sexual but were the connected she back then was a 14 years old girl way yonger then him after 5 years she go back to him and of course finding him with a s***.
now to be fair the M lead didn't give her any hint on wich she could bild any hopes they met once and never after that for 5 years so sure he slept around i would like it if he didn't but it's not that they were in any kind of relationship , her on the other hand waited to be an adult so they can be toghether i kind of felt sorry for her.
anway gonna go to what it bothered me that how easy the things went !! you see after the F lead witness the M lead having some action she run and then things go and she got hit very badly , the M knows and go straight to the hospital say some words how he had feelings for her and he is sorry after few words they are now toghether......
where are the problems that stopped you from going to her ! they were solved in what 30mins!! just like that . well then you ( M lead ) lost the time for nothing not the 4 years before since she would have been a minor but when she turned 18 he didn't go to her ( she's 19 now).
my dear F lead i usually find a lot of the F leads nowday rude while the authers wants them to be sassy but you can learn a thing or two from them , it was just ridiculous how the things goes after her waking up i wanted her to not jump back to him ( even thought they were not together ) right back he should work to have the right to be with you especially that he after seeing her in the club kissed the s*** on purpose .
that being said the most important thing that i didn't feel the intimacy between them zerooo , it was a read without feelings and also they said the need first to know each other and they had the chance since the F lead after leaving the hospital go to live with the M lead to continue her recovering but there was nothing of that sort and they slept together so soon.
then you had to bring the child from an other women and the F lead go like even before the M lead knows about his kid she's his so she's mine , don't get wrong i'm not saying she should have rejected the kid or some thing but you can take some time to process things , she said the mine in 1sec is that normale ? where is the shock
this book was again a meeeeeh for me i didn't hate it like i want to hit the M or the F but it was don't like it

IRISH is an MC Romance in the Devil’s Boneyard MC series. The male main character is Irish, a biker who is a total Man Ho-Ho-Ho. The female main character is Janessa, Club Princess of the Dixie Reapers. They met when she was 14 and had an immediate connection. Romantic, but definitely not sexual because this is not that kind of a book. She heads down to the DBMC compound to claim her man, but complications because Man Ho-Ho-Ho, and she takes off in her truck and ends up being attacked (no S.A. though). The rest of the story sees them working things out and the clubs dealing with the perpetrators.
I enjoyed the audiobook. It’s narrated by Umi Markkanen, and I think she’d even make an audiobook version of Golf Wiki interesting. She’s clear and easy to understand and she does a great job of both the male and female voices. She has a relatively high voice, but she’s so good at being expressive that, when she performs the hero’s POV, I forget that she presents as female. I’d give the narration a 5/5.
The story is a solid 4/5 and is Safe, by which I mean there’s no S.A. and no cheating. Reformed Man Ho-Ho-Ho is a popular trope in MC Romance because of all of the Club Bunnies that populate their wilder parties. Other tropes include Overprotective Father and Longtime Crush. It could even be considered Instalove. I’d have liked a little more longing on both sides; it would have sold the Instalove better. I don’t think a woman as badass as her father claimed would have ever gotten distracted and dropped the knives. And we never did get a good physical description of Irish, other than he’s hawt. But the story is enjoyable and the romance believable, with an appropriate amount of ass-kicking for a badass MC.

I received an advance review copy for free and this is my honest, voluntary Review.

Janessa fell in love with Seamus (Irish) the first time she saw him at fourteen years of age. Seamus had a moment of surprise, followed by a moment of clarity, as he felt a type of pull for a girl, not yet a woman, who happened to be the daughter of the prez of Dixie Reapers MC and that pretty much signals hands off! For five years, Janessa fantasized that they would be together, but when she became legal at 18 and he didn't come for her, she decided to take action. She goes looking for him at the MC clubhouse and she finds him with a blonde in his lap. When Irish purposely sticks his tongue down her throat, Nessa flees, only to get into an accident that almost took her life. Irish knows it's all on him and he shouldn't have provoked her with that kiss, and now that he's found her in a coma and critical condition it's apparent that someone targeting her. When Nessa comes out of her coma, Irish vows to be with her in any way she'll allow. It's a truly sweet story with a full helping of family values and a couple who have stood the test of time. It warms my heart that the children play such an important role in the overall arc of the story and it's on that high note that Janessa and Irish get their happy ending.
Umi Markkanen does a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life, giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures the character’s emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to.

The only reason that it got a one start was because I was able to hear from Scratch, Tex and Kalani. This book felt rushed to me and I didn't feel like the story ended....it just stopped. No idea what the baby was or anything AND it just felt unfinished. This is my biggest rant and I am sure some will not agree but that's fine too. I am getting tired of paying $4.99 for a book that is 112 pages AND the story doesn't even start until page 5 and ends at page 111!!!! So really the book was only 106 pages....not worth the price. I know that I have been told before that the publisher sets the price and not the author. To this I say GET ANOTHER PUBLISHER!!!! There are plenty out there. I am tired of getting ripped off on books that cost too much, have too little content and never feel like they are a complete book. Maybe authors will sit up and take notice when sales drop and the money doesn't come in. They must listen to their readers or the readers will disappear. Okay end of rant. This was just not good in any form or fashion. I'm through with this author and I really gave her a lot of chances before I figured it was time to throw in the towel. I will stick with my tried and true authors. One more thing I know this author is not spending money on an editor because there was not ONE Apostrophe in the entire book!!

So its time for a little rant. This author is a very good writer technically. But, shes not good for binge reading. The stories are nearly carbon copies of each other though.
*damsel in distress
*buy her a new life
*sweet talk her a little
*screw her constantly unprotected while demanding she have your baby
*little club drama
*HEA

This one goes off script a tiny bit since the mans already know each other. Understandably there was guilt over interest in an underage girl. Everything after that was unexcuseable. There was barely an apology for the actual slight he made against her, no groveling. And they have unprotected sex the day after she leave the hospital where internally she tells us they arent ready for kids. I could already tell where the story was headed by the halfway point and I was right, so I just skimmed over the rest. I'll check out Cinder (5) since the much older man, young girl ones in this serious are the better ones, but I'm definitely not going to read the other MC series.

Devil’s Boneyard MC #4: Irish is another intense and emotional addition to the series. The chemistry between Janessa and Seamus (“Irish”) has been building for years, and this book finally delivers their long-awaited story. I really enjoyed how it balanced the raw, gritty MC world with genuine heart and vulnerability, there’s love, loyalty, and plenty of emotion to keep you hooked.

Janessa’s strength after everything she goes through really stood out, and Irish’s mix of guilt, passion, and protectiveness made him a character you can’t help but root for. There were a few moments where I wanted to shake some sense into both of them, but that just shows how invested I was!

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator Umi Markkanen was fantastic! Her voice fit the story perfectly, and she did an amazing job with the male voices, which made the characters feel even more real.

Overall, it’s a great continuation of the series, full of tension, redemption, and heart. A solid four-star listen for any MC romance fan!

Ms. Wylde writes an amazing story. She provides the reader characters worth investing in because every story is better than the last. I have read every book in the series and highly recommend them all because Janessa and Irish are one in a long chain of biker love and possession. Irish was worth the wait because the author superbly told the story of their love and hinted at the past enough to allow the reader to read this love story as a stand alone, but beware, it is like a fine chocolate – once you have had one bite it will never be enough. The Devil’s Boneyard and the Dixie Reapers MC Series are my number one go to book series and I read them over and over until the next one comes out. If you like the MC life without all the cheating then give Irish a try I promise you will never be disappointed.

Nothing breaks a heart like when the guy you've fantasized and loved from afar for so many years up and you find another woman in his arms after you've waited until you're old enough finally to claim him. Janessa's broken heart for the Devil's Boneyard's one and only Irish causes her to run and run straight into disaster. Only when Irish finds out that the woman who went she was a little girl enchanted him is close to death does it dawn on him just where his heart needs to be and it isn't with the club girls. He only wanted her to have a life outside of what a biker like him could give her but he can't let her go either so he'll have to fight for the both of them. Don't let this make you think this story is all hearts and kisses because it isn't. Irish is one lethal S.O.B and the justice he seeks for his woman would make Satan himself cringe. I knew from the moment that Janessa met Irish all those years ago that he had the potential to hurt her. I hoped that the years would give him perspective and show him that she was what he needed. Unfortunately, he let his fear get in the way. When she shows up at the clubhouse after he didn't come to her, he makes a huge mistake and it is Janessa who pays the price. He is really lucky that she is so sweet, that's all I'm saying. But he quickly sees the light and sets out to make things right. That is what I love about Harley's boys, they always (sometimes longer than others) make up for their mistakes. Super fun and as always the emphasis on family, loyalty, support and doing what's right make me wish I could live in their world sometimes. Can't wait for more Devil' Boneyard!

POV: You run away from home to pursue a bad biker you’re in love with, but find him in the arms of another woman and flee … until you’re intercepted by a gang who thinks you’re ‘a toy’ …

Written in alternating, first-person POV.

This one has a somewhat dark start—and it’s not exactly instalove, as they’ve had a thing for each other since she was at least 13. (Nothing really shown on this front & he never acted.)

Janessa has always liked Seamus but he was older and more experienced now she feels like she is old enough and is ready to make her move but she finds Seamus in the arms of another woman which breaks her heart and she flees away heartbroken knowing she probably made a mistake.

And Seamus wanting her to find the right man her father would approve of made a terrible mistake especially after he finds out about her accident and he blames himself, he did not even want that woman he kissed.

Seamus has some making up to do and with another club hurting women he also needs to protect Janessa. And he may find out even though she is younger tharybare meant to be together.

Irish/Shamus actions ove the years were to shield his need and want of Janessa, cause she was 14 when they met. Janessa is not of age and is going to get her man...but oops.

Umi was, as always perfect in her narrations. The storyline was pretty good. The maturity of Shamus was always in question for me cause by now he should know that gae is truly nothing but a number and talking is the way to solve things. It too almost a catastrophe for him to see that Nessa was his..in name, body, soul and presence.

Let's not talk about actions having consequesnces from his trying to numb her absence.

I am feeling the inerconnectedness.

Love the narration of Umi Markkanen

When Janessa was 14 , with her dad a Dixie Reaper and stepmother visit the Boneyard, they are hiding from trouble.
It is then she sees and meets the prospect Irish. Five years later Janessa is still has strong feelings for Irish, aka Seamus and he for her. He tries to ger her out his system by sleeping with every woman he meets.
Problem is two became three and when Janessa goes looking for Seamus, she finds him with another female. Running away, she finds herself in great trouble.
Can Seamus/Irish save her and become a family.

I enjoyed the first part of this novel, concerning Irish and Janessa adult love relationship. He refused to accept his feeling for Janessa . He has been sexual involved with so many woman. I don't know how Janessa can trust him?Irish finally commits to Janessa after she almost died. I find it hard to believe that she forgives Irish and accept his daughter from a former relationship. I was disappointed in the ending of this book , it felt like a cliffhanger.

Irish love

I was so excited Irish got his book and that he was able to figure out what he had Janessa. Janessa has wanted Irish for so long and once she was old enough she decided it was time to go get her man. While it didn’t go as planned it never really seems to with any of the brothers. I love this story and the way they found they way to each other. Love this series and this book. I love getting to catch up with Tex to. Totally recommend this book

Finally

Janessa has been in love with Seamus since she was 14. Now that she is 19 she is ready to claim her man. But Seamus may not be the man she thought he was. It isn't until Janessa is attacked that truths come to light.

This book was okay, but the drama background story was kind of strange to me.
