Star Wars - a modern-day epic that has become a part of our collective consciousness (whether you've seen them or not) with dozens of iconic symbols reflected, copied, and homaged over and over in media and commercial goods. It's a touchstone that accomplishes what few have ever been able to do by impacting and penetrating pop culture on a global level to a degree not seen before. This book is less of a FAQ / Question and Answer type book and more of a mid-level analysis of the original trilogy films, their and their creator's history, and the countless ways in which they shaped a generation - and will continue to do so for future generations. I thought that after years of being a rabid fan, I had heard it all. But this book proved me wrong and was an addictive read that told a very comprehensive and fair review of these legendary classics.
Great Non-Fiction reference book for any Star Wars fan - gives interesting insights into the behind the scenes making of the movies, merchandising and the entire Star Wars universe
