Well, since these are on GR, I will cheekily log them. Nostalgia reread, basically – I never watched more than the occasional ep of Smallville because the writing was frankly unbearable but the Clex chemistry was impossible to miss or resist so I did read a bunch of fanfic back in the day.

These are great as far as characterisation and relationship development go, with a decent dose of action and drama. It’s unfortunate that PL Nunn apparently does not and has never believed in even a basic beta, never mind a thorough edit, even in her published work. Her stuff is always littered with irritating typos and minor line-edit stuff that would be SO EASY to fix. I do enjoy her writing though, so I grit my teeth and try to ignore it.

Love the push-pull of this and the way they’re honestly working on trying to reconcile their different stances on ethics. And the smut is excellent.
