Kassandra Lynn tells herself a bedtime story every night. When the plot gets too complicated and the cast overwhelming, she transcribes them into books she hopes you will enjoy.
I’ve made no secret of my love/hate relationship with the main character of Izella. That isn’t on the author, but on my own feelings. In this one, I’m back to liking her. She is such a complex character, and her obsession with Rune takes an interesting turn in this one. Really, TBH, in this one I was really aggravated with Rune; his choices were just so emotionally driven. However, I love that the author makes me feel so much for the characters, even if it’s a “negative” feeling. I am left wondering just how all of this is going to be resolved. I want so much to happen, but I don’t know how it can. LOL! This book and series is not to be missed if you love paranormal romance. I do recommend this book and was provided the e-book which I voluntarily reviewed.
In this fourth installment it takes off exactly where the last book ended. Follows the life of the now vampire orion hunter and all the problems that all of this have brought to the plate. There is more tension developing on the love triangle between Izella, Celtric and Rune. This book is filled with more action packed scenes and some drama. I have to admit that I was annoyed at Runes stubborn decisions and Izella's over confidence which in more then one occasion put her on death doors. How ever I have to applaud the author. Any author who makes you have emotions towards a character is a good one. *cheers* Well written.
