He might just be her doom.

Guardian angel Ava Lightway is hopelessly in love with Ezraphael, her boss and leader of the Order of Light. He’s perfect in every way, but he'll always be out of reach.

When a mission brings them together, keeping herself out of trouble will be the least of Ava’s worries. Resisting Ezra’s charms is nearly impossible. But to save a father and son assigned to her care, she will have to sacrifice everything.
Including the man she loves.

Read this prequel to BLESSED FURY featuring Ezra and Ava as you’ve never seen them before.

C.S. Wilde wrote her first Fantasy novel when she was eight. That book was absolutely terrible, but her mother told her it was awesome, so she kept writing.
Now a grown-up (though many will beg to differ), C. S. Wilde writes about fantastic worlds, love stories larger than life and epic battles.

She also, quite obviously, sucks at writing an author bio. She finds it awkward that she must write this in the third person, and hopes you won't notice.

C.S. Wilde’s Blessed Light: An Angels of Fate Novella is the prequel to Angel of Fate, book 1 in the series of the same name. I loved that book (separately reviewed) so it’s no surprise that I glommed onto this one and pretty much vacuumed it up in one sitting. Bottom line here is that this is a great book whether read before book 1 or afterwards. I liked how it developed Ezra and Ava's relationship a bit more, hoe it introduces the world created by the author for those initiated, and how the plot itself works so well. This well written book is a plus whether you’re a newcomer or not. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

Just finished #blessedlight and I’m hating that I have to wait to finish her other 2 books! 😤 #adultingsucks 🤦🏼‍♀️ I enjoyed the fast paced, adrenaline pumping story as well as getting to know the characters, whom were flawed and still worthy of love. #angelsoffate #cswilde @fantasybookscswilde 📕📗📘📙💜😻🧜🏼‍♀️📚📖 #booknerd #booklover #thatbooklife #bookworm #bookdragon #bibliophile #bibliophiles #bibliophilelife #bookish #bookstagram #book #books #read #reading #readingISmylife #bookish #bibliophilemarie @bibliophilemarie

This novella serves as an entertaining glimpse into an intriguing urban fantasy world with a guardian angel main character. It was well paced and had some nice twists in the story. There were also some hints at romance that sounded like it might be kind of star-crossed. I loved Ava's character and can't wait to find out more about her when I read the next book in the series. Highly recommended for fans of urban fantasy!

An amazing short story of love. Even though Ava is an Angel , still falls in love. Will there be a satisfying outcome? Loved it.

Blessed Light
Angels of Fate. Prequel.
By C.S. Wilde
Words written in their simplest form, can have a huge effect on people, so this medium can be used as a positive or negative way to relate information to other’s, so having such an effect on another can also hold great responsibility.
Book's written the way this author has, gives the reader a chance to read an enjoyable story or see different messages woven throughout the storyline.
This book has been beautifully designed to help us realise we have an abundance of unknowns that are continually given to us to help and protect us as we live our lives.
This storyline has been woven with a a profound message to remind us, it’s never to late to change our choices. As these characters are Angeles who are guided by rules configured by God, they also find people often need a little extra help or guidance, so Ava our central character is given help from one much higher than herself.
Yet even those who are meant to be pure and always do the right thing, find they can also be tempted into considering the wrong thing.
Ezra and Ava are here as guides to help Diego at the end of his life, and find themselves involved in illegal activities, while trying to guide another back onto the correct path. Even as angels they find temptation stepping on front of them, so they deal with the hand they were given, trying not to step the wrong way.
The whole book gives you numerous situations where the dramatic action could even pull angels into making a wrong turn, yet options are always presented to give everyone involved way’s to make sure they choose correctly.
It is superbly written you can easily understand why our angels have lapses with earthly temptation's, when they also experience emotions and feelings. Centuries of conditioning and power helps, yet they can also suffer while trying to rise above it all.
This author has shown throughout the storyline, no one is infallible, but as long as you are open to accepting mistakes and try to change your choice, anyone’s life can be changed.
A read I recommend for anyone who wants to see life through the eyes of another, this novella is a perfect prequel to the event’s we are yet to know and understand, keeps you wanting to turn the next page.

Interesting prequel - maybe Ezra isn't so bad!
This book can be read either as a start of an interesting series, or standalone short story, or for those of us who have read the previous (later) books, it fills in an interesting period of Ava and Ezra's earlier lives.
For those who have read the other books, it does, of course, lack Liam as a love interest, although it does show him in another light - I shall not reveal too much!
It was an interesting prequel in that it showed pertinent points of several people's lives, and also gave us another short story of one of Ava's charges, and how she managed to help him - it was much more interesting than I have made it sound!
If you like angels, or just like an interesting story, I recommend this.

Yeah….this wasn’t the greatest

I didn’t get the point of this.
Was it to illustrate the backstory of Ezra and Ava’s relationship? It did and didn’t all the same. The original book made the reader feel like Ezra orchestrated everything with Ava. But this was the first time they were paired together and it came about without his doing. Yes, he orchestrated the whole direct report thing afterwards, so there’s that.
Also didn’t Diego have trouble walking for long periods of time? How was he able to trail them from the park to the apartment and do all the actionable things afterward? None of it made any sense.
Also, if this took place roughly 15-20 years before the events of book one, what changed that the gap between selfless and angels grew so wide?

Not my things......

Angels, guardians, gangs....It's all a group of very unhappy people. This story was too slow and boring for me. Hopefully, someone else might find it acceptable.

This book was kind of silly. Not that impressed. I read the other books and then I finally read this one.
