I know p*ssies. Cats, that is. If you've got a feline nightmare on your hands, I'm the guy who can fix it.
When I hear about a cat hoarder named Estelle, I envision a mentally unstable old lady, not the blond bombshell who opens the door.
With a 100 percent success rate, I've never had trouble finishing a job. But just a few hours into this project and one thing is clear—Estelle and her band of misfit p*ssies will give me a run for my money… and my heart.

Emery gave up his dream of college and becoming a vet, instead using his college fund to pay for his father's medical care. He takes a thankless job as a vet assistant and lives in a shitty studio apartment, until one day a sleek looking guy in a suit comes into the clinic and offers him an out.
A few years later he finds himself gearing up for the third season of the cable show he hosts called "The Pussy Tamer". He helps people settle their pussies. Even though Emery is now famous living in a beautiful apartment with everything he could want his life is a little sad, he even stoops as low as to invite his doorman up for beer and porn.
His first client for the season is a single woman with 9 cats and Emery is picturing an old cat lady, he is super excited to find out she lives in his home town. Emery got a huge shock when a bubbly blonde bombshell opens the door, definitely not an old cat lady.
Estelle had taken in an abandoned cat, little did she know that cat would have 8 kittens!! She rearranges her life to care for these cats, going as far as setting up her apartment to make it a cat haven, her friend contacted the show on her behalf to help find home's for her unique pussies.
Estelle is awesome! She is funny, confident and a little wild. Emery and Estelle are super sweet together and the sex was hot. Their journey was so fun to read but it had a real and serious feel as well as being fun.
I really needed a good laugh and this book delivered. From the antics of her pussies to her insane driving it all had me giggling, I have to give mention to the vibrator incident now that was hilarious!!
This was just what I needed light, fun, hilarious, sweet and surprisingly hot. If you are looking for something different and fun then I highly recommend this its.....................

UNTAMABLE IS PERFECT! UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY PUUURRRFECT!
I’m sorry, but I had to go there, with this many pussies in one book, how could I not?! LOL
Now, seriously – ok, as much as I can be – Emery and Estelle’s story surpassed all my expectations. Yes, I was anticipating a pretty amazing and hilarious Rom Com with plenty of sexual innuendo and some deliciously cheesy lines, and I sure got all that, but Untamable surprised me so much, given it was SO much more than that. It was EVERYTHING! It made me do through all the range of feeling possible, and in such a realistically and perfect way written that I was so invested in the characters and their emotions I even ended up shedding a few tears in a more than one occasion and not all of them laughing.
I’d heard people talk about this moment. When they were so captivated by someone, time seemed to stop.
The whole world would get to witness the first time I ever felt weak in the knees from one look. One simple sentence. One set of perfect plump lips.
I never expected to be so emotionally connected with the story so I can honestly say Estelle, Emery and his family, and specially his dad, completely stole my heart.
Emery and Estelle meet in the most unusual of ways as a cat hoarder and the pussy tamer, but from the get go we could see that besides the instant connection, these two were indeed the perfect match in all ways possible. OMG, I loved these two so very much!
First kisses were meant to test the waters. They were supposed to be brief and gentle. Nothing about Emery’s kiss was quick or apprehensive. I’d waited my entire life for a kiss like this—I just didn’t realize I’d been waiting for it. Until now.
I already knew going in that Jamie Schlosser always creates the most realisticly, down to earth heroes, but with Emery she went far and beyond. It’s like she has an Perfect Man handbook and she just goes there and pick one up, and each it she ups the game even more. Body, heart and soul perfect! Like Estelle said herself the man didn’t have flaws, he was good and loyal to the core in a smoking hot package and just as scorching in between the sheets, so she was one lucky lady.
She let me see her—all of her. I was such a lucky motherfucker.
He was like a drug. And I just had to face it—I was so fucking addicted to Emery Matheson.
Estelle was an equally interesting character, I loved her spunky, quirky, hold no barriers attitude. Her hidden fragility and love and care for her cats, just made her even more endearing to me, and with a combo like that in a blonde bombshell like that, Emery didn’t stand a chance. Two golden hearts matched perfectly!
So it doesn’t matter how far apart we are,” I said, squeezing her hand. “Wherever I am, you’ll still be my greatest something.”
Jamie really exceeded all my expectations and blew my mind in how she was able to compile every emotion in the book – worry not, because it is a RomCom after all, so the hilariousness was still front and center – and make me fall in love, not only with the main characters, but with the secondary ones. Undoubtedly heart touching, soul warming and spirit lifting! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
“I love you,” he blurted out, and I sucked in a breath so fast I thought I might choke on it. “I love your potty mouth and the way you don’t give a fuck if anyone approves or not. I love that you bottle fed kittens. I love that you lose at strip poker on purpose. I even love the way you drive.” He took a deep breath. “You’ve shown me everything about you, Estelle. I see you. And I love all of it.”
“If we ever get separated—by death or otherwise—I’d dream of you every night just so we could be together.”

“The perfect mix of perverted and heart-warming, it was extremely entertaining.” Hmmm, I might be stealing Estelle’s line, but her assessment of The Pussy Tamer show aptly captures this story. I really couldn’t sum it up any better, but I’d ever jip this hot and hilarious tale by not giving it the full review so here goes.
Emery Matheson, 24, has gone from cleaning cat cages to cat shrink in only a few years. His successful show (think Supernanny for felines) lands him back in his hometown for his next assignment—an apartment overrun by cats and an owner who might be his perfect match.
“Fireworks exploded in my belly. To hell with butterflies—this was some good shit.”
I should probably start by talking about the hero and heroine because they were both great and perfect for each other. But I gotta address the other star players first…the cats! Not only were their names classic, but their inclusion was comedic gold. I laughed out loud many times. Then I started reading lines to my hubs. He mistakenly took that as a conversation starter so then I had to tell him to shut up so I could peacefully savior the hot sex scenes. But I digress. I’ve never been so on the edge of my seat over 9 lives before, and I didn’t realize there was so much psychology behind cat behavior.
Now, Estelle Winters, 23, is so cool. I don’t get to say that too often, sadly, and I feel like “cool” doesn’t even begin to do her justice as a heroine. She’s no doormat, nor is she weak or timid. I totally adored her, and I kinda wanted to hang out with her. That’s saying a lot seeing as how I’m allergic to cats and don’t like rap music. But Estelle’s a bit of a free spirit, sweet, a lot of fun, and has a cool job running a costume shop. Her openness and originality was refreshing. I liked the way Emery rolled too. He’s a really caring good guy with lots of integrity, a total sweetheart. And when Estelle gave up “DIYing” it and turned to Emery for help, well they were just hot together.
“Her scream echoed off the wall, and a roar left me as my balls drew up tight, blinding pleasure slamming through my body.”
Told via their dual first person POV, this is a low angst, sweet and sexy romcom. A pleasingly feel good story...if you were having a bad day, this would be the one to pick up and put a smile on your face.

For someone who likes humor and a safe read with likable characters, this one had it in spades. I'm not a cat person (prefer dogs to be honest) but reading this story made me want to go out and buy one! If you like books that have a sweet romance, characters that make you route for them and many laugh out moments, then this one is for you.
Estelle was a character that made me smile. She was utterly priceless! A feisty type character who takes no bullshit and speaks without filter! I loved that about her.
And Emery was a nice Hero as well. Someone who was compassionate & carrying and not a Manho. While I typically like my Hero's more Alpha, I was not disappointment here at all.
I usually would insert some funny or sexy quotes in my reviews, but with this one there are way too many and I couldn't decide, so we'll just leave at that.....
Ugh the word p*ssy drove me mad and the heroine? I thought she was pathetic when she called the hero for And I found the hero too feminine for my liking, I actually thought I was reading the heroine's POV when reading his POV.
Yes! I finished it! I took a 2 weeks break before I read last 40%.
The p*ssyness level of romance was a bit too much for me. I didn't like embarrassing moments for the heroine, and she overdid her hormones *lol*
But! This book was safe. It showed love for the animals and had human amazing hero. He sacrificed his college fund/his future career to help his diseased father. Damn, I couldn't click less than 4 stars for such an amazing man.
This is my second and will not be my last book by Ms. Schlosser. Her ability to build characters that I root for is unmatched. Her writing is effortless and brings a range of emotions easily to the surface for me which is not easy!
Yes, it's funny. It's hot. It's got depth and still keeps the energy moving forward. I love Estelle and her charm and wit. The build up between the hero and heroine had me flipping pages and ready for their happy ending. Oh and the ending. Oh my that ending. I tell you to do yourself a huge favor and become a devotee of Ms. Schlosser. The book world needs of her talent and I for one will be anxiously awaiting whatever she decides to give us next.
It’s me not you. I dnfed at the first sexual encounter of the MCs. One of my pet peeves are embarrassing situations for female MCs. And this was beyond embarrassing and awkward. I was thinking HOW do you come back from this? And I knew the answer. You don’t. No matter what the writer or the male MC feels or does after that. You just don’t recover. And I just couldn’t get over it. What could’ve been an otherwise awesome book turned into an unfinished mess of regret.
I don't think I stopped smiling once when I read this book. Not once.
The writing was impeccable, and by far one of the most hilarious books I have read in a while. I'm talking laugh out loud funny. I loved both characters so, so much. Emery was swoon-worthy to the utmost degree, and Estelle was relatable to the point of being scary.
The best part? CATS. Oh, the cats! Every crazy cat lady on the planet needs this book in their life, because honestly, it's best with a cat on your lap. I'm speaking from personal experience.
“If we ever get separated—by death or otherwise—I’d dream of you every night just so we could be together.”
Characters Emery (25?, TV star): star of a late-night reality show where he’s known as “The Pussy Tamer”. He has a soft heart when it comes to animals and has always wanted to be a vet. He has a good family foundation and the heart-tugging moments involve watching him deal with his dad’s dementia. He longs to be back in his home town and settled. ”All I wanted was someone I liked talking to. Someone to come home to at night. Someone who wanted me for me. I’d always preferred the comfort of a relationship over the excitement of a passing fling.”
Estelle (23, Owner of Estelle’s Costume Shop): she thinks of herself as a “wild” child, but I wouldn’t classify her that way. She is quirky, blunt and has no problem saying what she is thinking.
The Story This story is very much like the TV show “My Cat From Hell” where the show comes into a home and the host tries to help the family with cat behavioral issues. Estelle has 9 cats and has been unsuccessful finding homes for 7 of them due to various cat issues. Emery has been brought in to save the day. Sparks fly and a relationship between Estelle & Emery forms.
Overall This is a very light, upbeat read with very low drama and easy to like characters. The cat antics bring some humor, but honestly I got a little bored and the pussy references got old. They were funny the first few times, but then just felt a little overused later on. I’m not sure if I can adequately put my finger on the reason, but this just didn’t hold my interest and I found myself skipping a lot of pages trying to find some substance. Lots of people have given this book 4 & 5 star ratings, so maybe it’s just a “me” thing and it just didn’t resonate with me at this time.
- POV: dual POV - H likable? Yes - h likable? Yes - h virgin? No - First time they kiss: 36% - First time they sleep together: 37% - OW/OM drama? No - H/h cheat? No - Steamy? Yes - Did I skip pages? Yes - Big secrets? No - Did I cry? No - Cliffhanger? No - How it ends: It has a HEA and an epilogue - Recommend? If you are looking for a light, easy read without a great deal of depth, then yes.
Quotes “We should be out of here in five minutes. Famous last words coming from a woman who was about to walk into Target. I should’ve known better—I had a sister.”
“Women were a mystery I would never solve, but tonight I was okay with that.”
“There was nothing wrong with Estelle. Yeah, she was kind of a mess—a wild, perfect mess.”
What a fun book! I wasn’t sure what I was getting into, as a dog lover (and not really a cat person at all), but boy was this funny. The author cleverly kept a good balance of plot progress and humor, and I couldn’t help smiling a goofy grin while reading most of it. For humor, heart, and a fast, fun read, I highly recommend this book. Good girl, good guy, good fun.
So, even though I ready the romance genre pretty much exclusively, I do generally read the gamut of romance subgenres. I love the variety, but tend to gravitate towards angsty, darker reads and smutastic tales.
I finished Untameable and thought... "That is how I like my romcoms done!"
Because this book was funny. I not only giggle-snorted, but also full on snorted causing me to choke on my own uvula. It's embarrassing, but I admit it 🤣. These characters are so loveable. Emery and Estelle are just good people and they made my insides feel all squishy both individually and as a couple. The story was so sweet, and also so sad. And real in that those things happen at the same time. And, yup, it was also sexy. Let us not forget 😉.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, Ms. Schlosser hasn't done me wrong yet.
I found this enjoyable, but not quite as good as Untrainable. I LOVED Emery, especially his relationship with his family. He knew right away that Estelle was going to be his game changer and jumped right in. I know all the 'kitty" innuendos related to the story but for some reason I felt like there was just too many. Definitely worth the read!

It's not my first book by this author, but i can honestly say that this is so far my favorite because i couldn't remember the last time i laughed as much or enjoyed a story more. I was in Estelle's spot once - i was the one with 9 cats (in my defense, the last 5 were never planned), and i was also the one who would rather spend my evenings cuddling with them than going out. Needless to say that i connected with this book in many ways and i can't wait to find out how this author will top this book in her next release.
4 breath taking dreams
You know, there's a reason why authors work so hard on their blurbs, and i for one should have taken at least two minutes to read the one for Untamable by Jamie Schlosser. You see, when i started the book, i thought Emery was a female. When i realized that Emery was male, i thought that this book was one about the budding romantic relationship between wo men - between Emery and the man who hired him to be the next cat whisperer. Imagine my surprise when it was neither.
A man cat-handler (though the cringe-worthy name of ‘The Pussy Tamer’ just shouldn’t be here at all), akin to Jackson Galaxy with his cat hoarder lady with the antics of felines all over? I really did think it should have been a win for me, but I found myself strangely neutral towards the book and somewhat unexcited about the pairing.
Both Emery and Estelle were quirky, standout characters with personalities of their own that are distinct; they did seem good together, though I supposed I couldn’t quite get their connection apart from their inexplicable first-look attraction and their shared love for cats.
I did like Jamie Schlosser’s take on Emery’s show nonetheless and seeing how each cat—with a name so human I actually mistook them for people at times—was getting treated with the kind of respect and care (despite this being fictional) was just heartwarming.
I love this author, but this book did not dig deep enough. It was funny and light. But maybe because I'm not an animal lover, I couldn't really relate to the characters or fall for the hero.
Maybe I'll pick it up again when I'll need something light.
Brady Bunch meets The Dog Whisper!!! That is the spin this book has taken. So many laugh out loud moments and yet filled with romance.
Emery is barely surviving in his dead-end job when an opportunity presents itself while he is working. He has now become a reality show superstar! Traveling around and offering his Pussy knowledge to people in need of help.
Estelle is an ‘old crazy cat lady’ who’s hoarding has her needing the help of the Pussy Tamer. While she recently had a break up with her boyfriend, the cats in her house are her only true friends.
The major piece of advice is, if your expensive pleasure piece has stopped working…never throw it and forget about it!!! You never know who might find it and carry it around. This scene had me busting a gut!!!
If you are looking for a Romantic Comedy, Untamable is right up your alley!!!
> > Judging a Book by it's Cover < < What's not to love about that cover? Those strong, drool-worthy arms and a beautiful Himalayan? Fun title font and color. Eye catching! And the synopsis really makes this sound like a fun read.
Jamie Schlosser did NOT disappoint. This was a super fun read filled with innuendo and plenty sexy time. Estelle was bold and unapologeticly real after a breakup that could have broke her spirit - and she was all the more enjoyable for her wild and uninhibited ways. Emery was the Pussy Tamer, but he was not the crass playboy that the show made him out to be, quite the opposite in fact. He took the job in order to provide financial stability for his ailing father. He was amazing at what he did, hated the politics of the reality world and what drove it, and did not have a pretentious bone in his body. But he could be a little cocky and once he set his sights on something, he was determined to make it his. The chemistry between them was hot and magnetic. The secondary cast and cats were just as fun to get to know as the lead couple were. There were plenty LOL moments. As the servant to three cats myself, I found a few things relatable and many more quite comical - thankful that mine are not "that bad". The long-distance relationship hurdle was one thing that I did not quite understand, figuring that in today's day in age, with technology as it is, it should not matter where Emery lived, especially if they needed to film on location across the nation regularly. What would it matter WHERE he called home. Regardless, in the end it really did not matter. They found a suitable solution and the story was wrapped up with a pretty and shiny bow. There was a guaranteed HEA for them with very little predictability to be found (outside of the fact that I suspected the source of the leak from the beginning). The ending felt a little abrupt or off, but it was concluded solidly. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this to any of the Sexy Rom Com readers out there. It was well-written, the characters were a ton of fun, the antics were great, and the ending was solid. . Rating: [R] ~ Score: 4.275 ~ Stars: 4

Equal parts funny, sexy, and heartfelt Untamable made for a PERFECT Romantic Comedy! This is Jamie Schlosser's first Rom-Com and I think she NAILED IT! There were plenty of laugh out loud moments, all around sexy moments, fabulous banter and a splendid storyline. I fell hard and fast for Emery and Estelle. These two were a perfect match from the moment they met and I adored their personalities.
As a good Rom-Com goes, we know we need both humor and heart. And Untamable had both and it was WONDERFULLY mixed! The heart felt moments made me sniffle and sigh and the humor...OMG I giggled and laughed! Honestly, if I didn't know this was Miss Schlosser's first time writing a Rom-Com I would of NEVER guessed by reading this book. It was so...so...SOOOOOOO well written. I am IN LOVE with the way Miss Schlosser writes and I hope in the future she writes MANY more because I won't be getting enough anytime soon! This is like the best kind of crack and I am ADDICTED!
Untamable gets a FEISTY AND FUN FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Its entertainment at its best and I can't be happier with it.
This was an okay read. It was sweet and entertaining, but at the same time rather boring, since nothing really happened. As a cat lover / owner / slave I wouldn't have minded to read about more kitty action, but I enjoyed the animal interacting nevertheless. Every animal lover will be able to understand the problems mentioned here.
I really enjoy it, when both protagonists get POVs and they seemed very nice and likeable, although the H was a bit bland. But his love for animals alone made me love him. The characterization of the h confused me at times, since the different parts of her didn't really ad up to a consistent picture, her character felt strangely forced. Although I believe that one can have lots of different traits, the h didn't feel like a well built character for me. I would have loved to learn more about her relationship with her parents, perhaps that would have made her more realistic for me. I really liked how sure she was of her sexuality and how confident in her behaviour. But I didn't get why she would be attracted to the H, besides their love for cats. But I have to say the sex scenes were quite entertaining and convincing.
The "plot" was extremely obvious, but I didn't expect too much, but I would have loved it, if some of the other characters of the book, perhaps the persons who adopted the cat would have gotten a bit more character building. Besides the H's Dad everyone stays bland.
Nice for a change, but I won't remember much of it, I guess. If you need a sweet and unexiting love story this is the one for you.
I have loved and devoured every single book that this author has written and I gotta be honest... this girl has got it going on in a while lot of ways. Sexy, sweet, fun, quirky, and laugh out loud hilarious...plus a whole lot of pussies who need taming, Jamie Schlosser knocked it out of the park with this must read romance!
He's doing this for a purpose, a genuine reason. She needs his help and it has a lot more to do than with just her cats.
Unattainable was a brilliant book that lit up my kindle and completely stole my heart. I laughed, smiled, and swooned this entire book... enjoying the easy and safe journey that Estelle and Emery gave me. Their banter and chemistry was electric, captivating and addicting in all the right ways.
From the moment they lock eyes, they know that not only are they going to save the cats but also each other.
She's living in controlled chaos. Single. Alone. And a lot of kitties. Estelle needs help and she knows just the guy to do it. What she doesn't expect is for him to knock her on her ass or the feelings he evokes in her.
Emery's life isn't quite what he imagined it would be but he makes it work being a pussy tamer celebrity. When he meets Estelle, he's instantly drawn to her. He wants to get to know her. He wants to get her in his bed. She's the game changer that he never saw coming.
Lines are crossed. Boundaries pushed. Rules broken. Hearts are on the line. Can they find their happy ending despite living completely different lives?
A must read rom-com from a crazy talented author who continues to make her mark in romance!
🌟🌟🌟🌟 I laughed out loud so many times as I read this book. I loved Estelle, she was a breath of fresh air. And it was so wonderful reading about a guy who loves deeply and isn't a whore. I'd read this author's other works.
