Ms. Marean has done it again! “Dracones Guardian” had me hooked from the start and took me on a wild emotional roller-coaster ride, that ran the gamut from sad to happy, and then back & forth again! ... With another fresh, different storyline & many things going on at the same time, you’ll have to pay close attention to keep up, but it is so worth it! ... Fantastic new & recurring characters and amazing descriptions bring the story to life & will keep readers fascinated & turning pages like crazy! ... I never write spoilers or recap blurbs, but I highly recommend this and any of this author’s work, to adult fans of fiction! Even tho I volunteered to read this, it was without any outside influences & these are my honest feelings. In the past I have bought Kindle books by this author when I could & will continue to do so whenever I can. I can’t wait for more of these must reads, but of course I always will :)

Zander was a Guardian that had the weight of his people and possibly the world placed at his feet. He gets that one chance to grab hold of love, happiness, and a life with someone. Only to have it all placed in jeopardy. With life's dangers, adventures, and just living.
Sheri-Lynn brings to life a world that just allows you imagination to see it all clearly. She gives characters vibrancy, strength, depth. We get to experience emotional turmoil, sorrow, love, and happiness. The strength of the scenes and the action, drama, tension all makes this one a page turner. You see new character. Old characters. Character you don't want to see, but find that they are integral to the story.
I find that with each new addition to the Dracones world, I get further and further entrenched in their lives.

Dracones Guardian by Sheri-Lynn Marean a four-star read that will give you wings. This is number six in the series, but it can be read as stand-alone, I haven’t read all of the series and don’t feel like I’ve missed anything. This one has it all, romance and drama with fantasy thrown in for good measure. It’s a story filled with ups and downs, enough drama and passion to keep you hooked but not enough that its overdone. Due to the ups and downs you do need to read closely and pay attention to the story to keep up, but if you do it’s a good read. I don’t want to give spoilers as the story is worth reading.

After waiting a long time to read this story am so glad I finally was able too. Sheri-Lynn Marean has done a great story of Zander and Chole. I was not disappointed or have I ever with any of the Dracones world. She brings to life love, adventure, danger, sorrow and humor to her characters. Each one is so alive and just jumps from the pages that I eat her books up as soon as they come out.

Dang I so enjoyed reading this one as it was full of familial love, action and giving one's life for the protection of those he loved. God the father answered his plea and he became an archangel once more but there could be stipulations.
This is an overview but there is so much in between as it would spoil the story for you. I voluntarily chose to read an advance copy of Ms. Marean's beautiful story and there was no compensation in any way for doing so as this is my honest opinion

Fantastic addition to the series. Wonderful to get the POV from Zander. Some new added characters and major background on Zander-daddy. Genna is one of my all time favorite characters. Some great action through the story. Some pretty intense moments happen. Action that is intense is what holds my attention to the book, a great don't want to put it down kind of read. Good love story mixed in. I truly enjoyed the book and recommend it to anyone who has read the other books in the series already. Zanders history was some good information that a reader would not have been able to guess from the main story of the series. Can't wait to see what happens with the new characters!

This book was told from another view and allows you see the story from yet a different angle. Before I know it I was on Chapter 5 within 2 hours of starting the book and I loved it. I was an amazing story that I couldn't seem to put down last night. I can't wait for the next book to come out to see who the next lucky couple will be to receive their happy ending. Glad to see that an angel got a 2nd chance at a pair of wings. I am hoping to see a lot of the new friends in the future books to come.

Absolutely loved this book! Like all of this series, Sheri-Lynn does not disappoint! So many emotions, so many different personality and conflicts within the characters and new insights delved into leaves you want more.

Dracones Guardian: Dark Dragon was a great 5 star read. This is a great paranormal/fantasy romance. Once I started I couldn’t put it down.
This is a great story with Zander and Chloe. Zander is an archangel committed to keeping people safe from fallen angels. When he ends up on earth he has his children to keep safe. Than he meets Chloe. There is something about her that draws him in. The thing is, she is human. Things take a serious turn when an enemy makes themselves known.
Can Zander keep everyone safe? Can he have more with Chloe?
My emotions were all over the place. The author did a great job with the detail and pulling you right into the scenes, I felt like I was right there at times. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. You can read as a stand alone but I suggest reading the books prior to this one, you will connect better with the characters. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series.

This is Zandraziel’s story. Zander is an Archangel, the Arch Commander of the Elite guard of warrior angels. He has often wanted at seat at the council but has been denied. At the start of the book, Zandraziel has captured an angel that has betrayed his angelic brethren and Heaven. He is bringing the betrayer, Ezazel, before the council for justice. Along the way he is summoned by the five sisters of Fate. Nemesis, the scariest of the sisters, offers to take the betrayer and dispense justice of a kind. Zander declines and offers his help finding their lost sister. He delivers his betrayer to the council and his fate is decided, with a small assist from Zander.
The Primale of the Angelic Council has decided that two warriors of the Elite Guard will be sent to the Father’s 52 realms to patrol and punish. Zander must decide who to send. As he decides the Fate sister intervene and ask a favor. They tell him that a new race is to be born and he will be instrumental in giving it a ‘shove to inception’. The new race is a combination of dragon shifters and fallen angels. The five sisters tell him that they will owe him a favor.
Zander chooses to go and Keshiel goes with him. This journey to the 52 realms is not all doom and gloom. While Zander does lose his wings he also gains emotions and a mate. Ahryanna, a dracones female, gives him two children. The evil druidic witches , the Illyium, killed his mate. He takes his daughter, Tieraney, and two boys he would later adopt as his own and leaves Tartaria for Earth. He leaves his son Cristoz behind as he was lost.
Seven years later, Zander meets a woman Chloe. She needs his help and he just might need her. We get to see many of the characters from previous books. We get more in depth information about Zander and that choices have consequences.
We get all the drama of Heaven and Hell and the sweet second chances. This series keeps getting better and better. If you like epic story-telling, this series is for you. Dracones Guardian (Dracones Book 6) by Sheri-Lynn Marean

This is book six in the Dracones Series. I suggest that you read the others prior to reading this book. I hadn’t and I was confused quite often. It would have been good to know the history behind the characters. Characters appeared in this novel which seemed like I should have known but didn’t and not much explaining as to who they were therefore I wished I had read the rest of the series.
That being said, the story turned out to be good, once the confusion of the beginning ended. At the start of the book, we learn Zander’s history and the reasons why he left heaven. The story then skips thousands of years where we meet Chloe and learn of the attraction between her and Zander. Without any warning, the story skips ahead seven years later and chaos ensues. Chloe has a daughter and Zander was rescued from a kidnapping and there is a pack of werewolves living in his house. For me, the story actually starts here. From this point on, the book is quite entertaining and I liked it a lot. I loved Zander’s character. He was caring, loyal and a protector. He was also strong, loving and passionate. I liked Chloe’s character as well and thought they were a good match. I liked many of the secondary characters as well, my favourite being Genna. I think she deserves her own book, there are many layers to this character.
Aside from the confusion in the beginning, I really enjoyed the book. It was filled with romance, mystery and danger along with angels, demons and dragons. It had many unique characters who added to the story.

As always, Sheri-Lynn Marean knows how to rock my socks off! This book cannot be read as a stand-alone book. It is constantly linked to the events of past books in this series. Each book seems to focus its attention on a few key characters and this time, it is all about Zander and Chloe. We have often read of Zander in past books. But these never went into much detail about what had happened to him or how it all went down for him. Well this time, the series is mostly focused on him and his new mate, Chloe.
I really enjoyed reading this book and like all the books in the series, it is crazy long, but I love really long novels to read. Usually, I go through a novel between one day to one and a half days. This one took me two and a half days to go through it with almost constant reading, and I am a fast reader!
The action is constant and I do hope that you have a good memory, but it takes one to follow up on all the events of this series as well as all of its characters, and there are many of them. But if you love stories that have many twists and turns, many loose ends in one book that get fixed in another book of the series, only to find more loose ends that will make you want for more, if you love shifters and magical beings and worlds that span through centuries, you will adore this series.
So, what are you waiting for, go get yourself book 1 on the Dracone series and have fun!

The story Dracones Guardian (Dracones Book 6) by Sheri-Lynn Marean is a wonderful paranormal/fantasy book. From the very beginning, I was drawn to the characters and the storyline. It has action, danger, magical beings, and romance. I loved reading about the characters of Zander and Chloe. Zander is an archangel who is protective of his children. He is handsome, loyal, and fierce. He is unprepared for what he feels after meeting his next-door neighbor Chloe. Chloe is a kind, caring, and intelligent woman. She also feels something when she first meets Zander. There is an attraction that is only growing stronger. Their worlds both hold danger. Things are not always as they seem to be. Will Zander take a chance and move forward with his feelings for Chloe? How much danger does a new enemy that has arisen bring? Read this book to find out. This story does a wonderful job of building a world that has supernatural beings. There are many characters that are introduced and that I enjoyed finding out about who they are and their part in the story. There are also twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. The book had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. This is a book that I loved reading and I found that I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. Sacrifice everything for love
I can't say enough good things about Dark Dragon! It is a book you will get lost in and won't want to put it down.
If you have read the series I'm sure you have been waiting for Zander and Chloe to get their story and it was worth the wait.
Zander is an archangel that was tasked to balance to scales of good and evil in earth. He spent hundreds of years defending heaven and training Angel warriors but it wasn't until he found his first mate and had children did he start to really live. Losing his mate when their village was attacked was a blow he almost didn't recover from. If it wasn't for his children he surely would have perished. Seven years ago a beautiful woman moved in across the street from him and to attraction to her was immense but she was engaged to another.
Chloe's world has just been turned upside down, learning that the evil man she married seven years ago was a serial killer has left her reeling. Her friends from across the way were generous enough to let her and her daughter Lilly stay with them. Chloe isn't prepared for what she discovers, could supernatural species exists or was she losing her her mind? Taking care of Zander while he recovers is proving to be challenging especially since she is falling for the very handsome angel.
Zander tried to fight to attraction to Chloe but can't, he loves her! That love is tested though, how much is he willing to sacrifice for the woman he loves?
I can't say enough good things about Dark Dragon! It is a book you will get lost in and won't want to put it down.

This is NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Dracones Guardian by Sheri-Lynn Marean is the 6th book in the Dracones series. While this is Zander and Chloe's story, you get so much more in this book. Previously presented and loved characters make an appearance as well as some new and intriguing characters that are clamoring to tell their tale. I LOVE this series. Dragons, Archangels, good guys, bad guys and the ones they love... all play a role in making this series a spectacular read. The world building is addictively familiar, but not. The characters are well thought out, developed and show an amazing propensity to evolve. Ms. Marean is extremely skilled at weaving an emotional rollercoaster ride of a story. I laughed (a lot!), cried (get a box of tissues ready!), cheered, hissed, wanted to reach in an shake a couple of characters and fell in love over and over. This book contains enough backstory and focused resolution to be read as stand alone, but why!?! You're going to want to read this series from start to finish. I devoured this book and wanted more. There is a sign of a great book... you get to the last page and scream "Noooooooooooo! I want more!" If you love reading JR Ward, Patricia Briggs, Gena Showalter or Deborah Cooke, you need to add Sheri-Lynn Marean to your "Next to be loved list."

Dracones Guardian is an urban fantasy, and the sixth book in Sheri-Lynn Marean’s Dracones series.
Zander is an angel, living on Earth with his ever-growing family of supernatural creatures. When he is seriously injured, he has to learn to rely on others and accept offers of help.
Escaping from an abusive relationship, Chloe is reluctant to trust others and isn’t used to the kindness and generosity she finds in Zander’s family. Even more unfamiliar to her are the extraordinary people around her who can turn into wolves, leopards and even dragons.
For me, this book had a bit of an X Men feel to it with the way Zander had built up his family of supernatural creatures. There’s a well-established system of magic and history that’s easy enough to follow without having read the other books.
At times, the narrative jumps forward in time. Sometimes this is understandable – particularly the bigger jumps of many years, but at other times it felt like we were skipping over bits of the story that would have been interesting to read.
For me, this is a four star book. I’d recommend it to fans of stories with large found families, and paranormal romances. There are mentions and descriptions of abuse, including child and domestic abuse.

When he is sent to earth to keep the fallen in line, the one thing he never thought possible happens -- he finds true love and starts a family. But his happiness does not last long, he knows he will never love another woman, so he puts all his focus in his children. When he happens to meet his new neighbor -- a human female -- he starts to feel things he has not felt in a long time. But he had his one true love. Besides, he doesn't want to put this fragile human in danger. When events happen, she just may be in peril. Can he find love again? What about the enemy that swears to defeat his kind? Can they all live happily ever after? Is there such a thing?
This was an amazing book! I assumed it was your typical paranormal romance, but I was so pleasantly surprised. There is so much going on in this book. The action, the suspense, the grief, plus happiness and love -- it is all there. And the characters are incredible!! Not just the main ones, but the cast of secondary characters are just as great. I hope to learn more about them in future books.
This book has some heavy scenes and romance, but it is such a well-rounded book the if you like urban fantasy, you will be hooked. I cannot wait to read the next in the series and highly recommend this book.

What an amazing book! I have been waiting for this book for a long time. And I'm so glad it is finally here. This is Xander.'s story the head of the household. In the things that have been done to him are truly deplorable if you read the last book continue reading from here if not stop reading my review here cuz I don't want to give you any spoilers. In one of the previous books Xander's arms in one of his leg was chopped off and because of the spell the wicked witch put on him he has not been able to heal. In this book though we finally get to see if he is going to survive and if he's been given another mate. Defeats simply may have shown on him once again. We get more information about the rest of the clan as well in this book and I tell you I was truly floored by some of it. I can't wait to read the next book you got to read this one now if you read the books out of order you will be a little lost you can but I would recommend reading them in order.

Dracones Guardian by Sheri-Lynn Marean is apart of the Dracones series but it can be a stand alone book. Marean can pull me as the reader fully into the story from the very beginning. One thing that I really like about Paranormal/Fantasy stories is that it can be base on any location or any type of character. This, to me is what makes the genre exciting. This particular story is about Zander an Arcangel that is on earth to keep everything even between good and evil. He found his first love and had children and his life was fulfilled. That was until his love and children perished and that almost killed him. Now he has Chloe across the street and his world is a changing again. Will Zander start a relationship with Chloe or will he keep to himself? Will there be trials for Chloe and Zander? What will the outcome be? How much would you sacrifice for love?

Dracones Guardian by Sheri-Lynn Marean

Wow! I don’t even know where to begin with this one! This was my first book by Sheri-Lynn Marean but I can assure you it won’t be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. Dracones Guardian is a one of a kind read, it’s incredibly detailed, almost to the point of being overwhelming, action-packed, dark, twisted and addicting. This storyline really intrigued me, and I ended up speeding through this book because I couldn’t bring myself to stop.
I loved the flow of this story, it flowed so well even with the many POV’s. Generally, I’m not the biggest fan of multiple POV’s because it can be hard to follow, however, this author did it in a great way, all of the detail made it easy to follow.
Now that I’ve read this book I can’t wait to dive into my next book by this phenomenal author.

Dracones Guardian (Dracones Book 6) by Sheri-Lynn Marean is a brilliant paranormal fantasy that is as engaging as it is enthralling. It is full of action and danger, Angels and Demons, Soulmates and love. I loved the characters and the band of beings that became a family. I really love this series.
Zander, an archangel who is loyal and a fierce warrior and is very protective of those he loves, his children, his friends, his soulmate. So when Heaven and those he loves come under attack he must fight for their lives.
Sheri-Lynn has done a wonderful job of creating a world and characters that make you feel a part of their story. With lots of twists and turns emotions run high and I had to keep turning the pages until the end.

Dracones Guardian: Dark Dragon by Sheri-Lynn Marean is the sixth book in this series. It can be read as a stand-alone however I do feel that, for background story, it would be best to read these books in order.
This book was amazing. It was such an interesting story, full of twists and turns. I found myself on the edge of my seat for most of it, turning the pages faster and faster in my attempt to consume this book. I had to know what was going on, I had to read more.
Zander and Chloe were just brilliant. You really get behind these characters. The way the author has written them completely captivates you the whole way through.
This book is well written and utterly thrilling. I cannot wait to read more in this series.

Dracones Guardian is the sixth book in this series. It is the first book I have read from this series. I was a little confused at first, but felt the author did an excellent job providing some back story to help me understand the storyline. I do feel that it would make more sense reading books one through five. I lived main characters Zander and Chloe. They were easy to fall for and I loved their development as the story progressed. I felt that the storyline was easy to follow and full of excitement. This was a creative novel and I highly recommend it. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

Sheri-Lynn Marean‘s Dracones: Guardian really is the epitome of what a paranormal/fantasy romance should be. An archangel, the Fallen, Druid witches, dragon shifters, yup this book has it all. Then add in a great romantic tale with perfect leads in Zander and Chloe and I end up sad I can only give it five stars. Frankly, but for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed, I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.

Volume six in the Dracones series gives us the story of Zander and Chloe. Like other books in the series, this one cannot be read as a standalone as previous offerings build one each other and starting with this book would leave one a bit lost in the details. As with previous books, this one offers excitement, intrigue, mystery and a bit of romance. I wholeheartedly recommend you start with book one and read them all through. You won't regret the time nor the money invested because the series is just that good. Highly recommended!!! I received an advance copy of the book but my review is completely voluntary and unbiased.

This is the 6th book in the dracones series and it is about Zandar and Chloe. You get so much more from this book. You get more of a back story on some of the other character. Gena is in this book so much more than any of the other books and she has taken to calling Zander, Zander-Daddy. She is my favorite character!
The author does such a wonderful job and creating this fantasy world with so many amazing character. There are so many character that you can fall in love with.
This book will make you hit so many emotions, I felt sad, shocked, and happy. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Dracones Guardian by Sheri-Lynn Marean is the sixth book in the Dracones series. Luckily this can be read as a standalone book because I had not read the other books. This is a paranormal, fantasy, romance book that had me reading quickly from beginning to end. Zander is an archangel who will do anything to protect his children. When he least expects it he meets Chloe. As he is facing decisions a new enemy makes itself known.
This story has a lot going on but all of it comes together and makes for a terrific read. I really enjoyed the characters and the different paranormal elements. I am going to go back and catch other books in this series.

Dracones Guardian (Dracones Book 6) by Sheri-Lynn Marean is a paranormal fantasy that continues into the Dracones series. This story held the perfect mix of suspenseful elements. Zander and Chloe were an interesting collaboration in this story that kept me entertained and fully engrossed in this novel. Anticipation was high in this story wondering which direction was going to unfold next. Excellently written along with the fantastic story line and entertaining while including the danger lurking. Sheri-Lynn Marean has outdone herself in this particular story compared to the previous one(s) that I have read in this series. Amazing imagery, character dynamic and story telling.
