Respectfully, Riggs: Love Letters from a Real Dog

Rate this book
Everyone said he couldn’t be tamed … It was a sweltering day in August. In a field packed with gorgeous guests, Riggs Rideout—dog model and bad boy bon vivant—found pure gold . Till one girl stole his heart … Her name was Rosabelle, and it was love at first sniff. For Riggs, that is. Rosabelle was a serious dog with big aspirations; she didn’t need a clown like Riggs holding her back. Even if they’d lived in the same country, it could never work. An old-fashioned courtship was the only way … Riggs became a Dog of Letters, fearlessly taking on the biggest guns in the canine world and challenging their deeply held beliefs about the human-dog bond. It was a remarkable feat… but would it be enough to win Rosabelle the next summer? Dogs fall in love, too. When it happens, all you can do is laugh. Sandy Rideout is the author of “Golden Boy,” a memoir, and the “Dog Town” series of romantic She also writes sweet and sassy coming of age rom-coms with Yvonne Collins.

A treat for dog lovers!

An enjoyable read! Witty, humorous and fun. I love the photographs! It is totally believable that Riggs will be the next top dog model as long as no squirrels cross his path on the runway. Might have a better career ahead as a writer. Good luck with romance!

Fun Book and Beautiful Photos

I read this book on my iPad Kindle App and the photos were simply beautiful; it’s a really fun book! Riggs is so cute, completely honest about himself (and others) and has a wonderful sense of humor. His stories are interesting and uplifting; he is so accepting (and forgiving) of his and other’s mistakes and quick to give compliments where deserved. I am looking forward to hearing and seeing more of Riggs; he has a wonderful and unique personality. Sandy is so very blessed to have Riggs in her life. Enjoy every moment with Riggs and his sister, Mable! There is nothing in the universe better than your life right now with these two sweet dogs.

Letters from a dog.

Riggs is a dog with a plan. He is obsessed with winning the affection of the fair, Rosabelle. He writes letters to all types of people to get help to win over his therapy dog love. A cute book.

Such a cute short story written by Riggs, the golden-doodle. Riggs writes letters to his wannabe girlfriend and many others talking about his life and how the world should be according to him.
The photographs of him and his sister, Mabel, are wonderful and tell a story all on their own.

Such a funny book, Riggs tries hard to change into a better dog in his conquest of his beloved, after a regrettable start. Written from a dog's point of view but a very clever thoughtful dog. Plenty of laugh out loud moments and I'm hoping to hear more from Riggs.
Thoroughly recommend even if you aren't a doggie person!

Respectfully, Riggs is very entertaining. Riggs in love is a dog with a mission. Will he win his lady? You will have to read these letters to find out.
