When the courts end Dr. Vanessa Bryant’s career, she’s contacted by a secret government facility to work as a doctor—on another planet. Having no other option, she agrees. On planet Daeria, she finds her two escorts are sexier than sin. She’s going to have problems keeping her hands off them and staying professional.
Madden and Kian, dragon-shifters from Daeria, have been closer than brothers all their lives. Sharing one surrogate is more than ideal to them. They are overjoyed with the idea of becoming parents to help repopulate their planet. The problem is their female isn’t part of the program.
Vanessa is there as a healer, not their surrogate. Plus, not everyone’s happy about her presence. In fact, they’d kill to have her gone. When Vanessa disappears, Madden and Kian learn they need to save more than her life alone. It’s a race against time to convince her they’re her perfect mates and creating a family isn’t impossible.
Milly Taiden (also writes as April Angel) was born in the prettiest part of the Caribbean (to her) known as the Dominican Republic. Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, bossy young son and their little dog Speedy.
When she’s not working full-time, texting with her best friend Heidi in England, chastising her son for pulling the dog’s ears, shopping with her sister Jewel or watching scary movies with her husband, she can be found writing on her laptop.
She’s addicted to shoes, chocolate, Dunkin Donuts coffee and JIMMY THOMAS covers!!!
Vanessa is a doctor and gets her license taken from her. She gets a job offer on another planet. Madden and Kian are dragon shifters on this other planet. Madden is a prince and healer, while Kian is a guard for the King. Their females were killed off by poison and to repopulate the planet, they are asking for surrogates. As soon as Madden and Kian get a whiff of Vanessa they know she’s their mate. But Vanessa didn’t come for the surrogate program, she came to heal. She decides to stay with them and slowly falls in love with both. Someone is out to destroy the Royal family and try to use Vanessa to do it. Can the guys find her before something bad happens to her? Good story. Sex and dragons. Life on another planet. M/F/M.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Book 2 of the Nightflame Dragon series by Milly Taiden Vanessa is a human doctor that after a patient dies while using experimental treatment she is struck off and jobless. Vanessa gets a job interview for the Night City new medical practice that will treat all species on the planet. Vanessa travelled to Daeria to help with medical things and not as a surrogate. When Vanessa gets to Daeria she meets Madden and Kian who turns out to be her mates. I really enjoyed this book but Vanessa did annoy me at times. Even though she a trained doctor she doesn’t use that skill at all and when she get injured doesn’t assess herself a way a medical person would. I feel her character could be more developed especially with her medical degree. I really loved the difference between Madden and Kian one being a healer and a kings guard. Great HEA
m/f/m Dragons' Savior is a wonderful follow-up to Dragons' Jewel the first in this series. I recommend reading Dragons' Jewel first but Dragons' Savior can be read stand alone. Dr. Vanessa Bryant agrees to be relocated to Daeria not as a surrogate but as a healer. But fate will have her will she meets not one but two hot dragon shifters that make her want to burn up the sheets. Sadly someone is unhappy that she has found her future in Madden and Kian and is making attempts to ruin the future for all of them. Enjoy this sexy and exciting adventure, I did.
Sweet and sexy. Ok.. so it was hot as h..e.. double hockey sticks as well. Part of this book runs parallel with book 1.. keep reading because that is short lived. Vanessa, Madden, and Kian need to find out who is out to get them. Or, are the things happening just coincidence? Vanessa never wanted to be an actual surrogate but can she change her mind? There are two sexy dragons that want her as their mate, but she needs time. She cannot imagine life without them after knowing them for only a short period of time. There is an HEA so we know things work out, but it is the journey that is worth the read.
I voluntarily reviewed and advanced copy of this book.
Milly Taiden knocks this one into space!!!! Exciting installment two to a new series.
Vanessa is faced with a choice no wants to make find a new career on Earth or leave Earth and what she loves practicing medicine.
Madden and Kian have been friends all their lives. All they want is to have a family. Not just for themselves but to save their planet.
Vanessa Kian and Madden are a refreshingly new story of survival. Kian and Madden help Vanessa find what she never thought she wanted. While Vanessa shows them strength love and a healing of their spirits that they needed.
This is an OK shifter romance, with likable main characters. It features the typical shifter instalove, and two hot dragon shifters who find a mate to complete their triad. I liked that the dragons lived on another planet, as it allowed for a lot more creativity in the story. I would have liked a little more backstory on the characters, though, especially on the dragons and their world.
I liked Madden, Kian, and Vanessa, but it seemed like they were all more in lust than in love. I think they did spend quite a bit of time together before they claimed her as their mate, but that was kind of skipped over in the story. I might have believed they were in love if that time together had been included.
My main complaint is that all of Milly's stories are a bit too explicit for me. I like hot sex in romances, but I would prefer it to be a little less descriptive and dirty. I am not a prude, but the really explicit stuff is just not romantic to me. But I will continue to read Milly's writing, as it is entertaining and fun.
One other thing bothered me about this book, and it is minor, but it is a pet peeve of mine. When a book describes how the characters look, the cover art should have models that fit that. For example, one of the dragons in the triad in this book is described as having long midnight blue hair -- but both men on the cover have short brown hair. Can't the models at least put on a wig for the picture?
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
Dr Vanessa Bryant’s career was ended by the courts and immediately she was contacted by a secret government facility to work as a doctor on another planet. She felt she had no other alternatives and so agreed on the condition that she was not included in the human female surrogate program for alien shifters. When she arrives on planet Daeria she finds her two escorts are very sexy and realises she is going to struggle to stay professional and not go near them. Madden and Kian and dragon shifters and being closer than brothers they would have to share one female surrogate however when they meet the one female who is right for them they hit a problem - she is not in the program. As Vanessa is there as a doctor and not a surrogate some are not happy about her being there. When she disappears Madden and Kian need to not only find her but they need to convince her that they are her mates and that she needs to realise that they would together make the perfect family. Can they save her and get the happiness they all deserve?
This was a great story that had lots of romance, love, drama and danger. I loved the way that their relationship developed and how they interacted as well as the love and respect they directed at Vanessa. The drama and danger was a mixture of predictable and unpredictable elements if you had read the previous books in this series. Well written and very enjoyable to read. Contains explicit sexual content.
I liked that this one started with us finding out how Vanessa ended up as one of the surrogates. It added something to the story that the other lacked.
And as with the first, I am really into the plot that is going on outside of the romance. Another layer has been added to that part of the story and it's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.
After doing some digging, I did find that the Wintervale pack is going to get books also.
Anyway, the question I have is, was the mating before the war the same as now with multiple males with one female? I didn't get that impression from the previous book, but if not, how do they now automatically mate to one female. I would understand if she had been one person's true mate, but they both decided to share due to the lack of females, but unless this was something that took place before, why would it be something that occurs now? Unless after years of not having females at all they adapted? And, since there has been a war, why aren't they suspicious of people who are acting freaking suspicion? Clearly, it's not just the obvious villain that is out to ruin things.
I don't know, but besides the romance being instalove and lacking chemistry, this is another thing that kept me from rating this book higher. It got the 3 stars because I'm curious to see how the plot that is spanning throughout is going to end.
She never wanted children. She wanted to be a doctor and devote her life to healing. The dream ended. While she tried to find another profession a miracle offer came. Sure it was on another planet. Sure it was with dragons and wolves and cats, all shifters. She could deal with that. Couldn't she? There was one part of the arrangement she didn't want. It was a surrogate program. The women who came to the planet needed to help populate it.
She hoped she could find a way past that since they were in such need of doctors for the human women they were getting. Then she met the first shifter she would be working with. Hot! And she wasn't thinking about his fire breathing. Meeting his friend and roommate made things even worse cause she felt the same about them both.
While getting adjusted to the job, the new planet, her living arrangement, she learned the brutal history of wars. No one could be sure there wouldn't be more battles. Still, she felt safe with her males and the earth women who had come before her were friendly.
Could she be happy in her job and as a mother? Would she even have the chance after the dangerous threats and incidents?
Another good one from the author. While part of a series the story stands alone. I'm ready for the next one!

Loved loved it. Again Milly does her thing she's so good at. Catching you with a story and making you smile.
Nightflame Dragons series book 2, slid on it to fit in beautifully with the first book. Vanessa is a kick smart and with spunk. Madden and Kian so different but yet not - the Warrior and the Healer they compliment each other.
The Story continues with the Dragon King, trying to bring together different races and form a community that works and that is safe while rebuilding his world. Enters Vanessa a human doctor without a license, she made sure they knew she wasn't all about being a baby's mama but offering her skills as a doctor.
Well, of course, things as usually don't work the way we want. Right? Grab this story and the fun, hot and some dangerous antics as various races try to rebuild and someone isn't so happy about that. I did mention hot scenes right? *smiles* enjoy
This book runs concurrently and overlaps with book one. Liked the characters and how they came to be a triad. Madden & Kian were likeable and Vanessa was interesting. Vanessa was a doctor on earth but has lost her job due to making a decision based on what was best for a patient, not what was right for the hospital. She accepts a medical post on Daeria to look after the human surrogate women moving there. Madden is a healer and Kian is one of the king’s guard. Vanessa is mate to both of them but she has to get her head around being a mate as she is not part of the program. She also has a difficult decision to make due to a hereditary disease. I enjoyed how this story played out and some of the other characters that are introduced and will be interested in reading their stories when they come. I was offered this book by the author but read it through KU.
This is Book 2 in the Nightflame Dragons series. I really enjoyed reading this book. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I think you would enjoy it better if you read the first book. Vanessa is a doctor, but the courts say that she did something wrong, so they revoked her license. That’s when she was contacted by a secret government group to go to work for them. On another planet. With Madden and Kian as her two sexy escorts. What more do you need to make a good story, right? As usual, we have the villains who just want to make everyone unhappy and they seem to do a great job in this story. So be sure to grab it up and have a great read. It’s a short fast paced story so if you don’t have a lot of time, this will work great. I voluntarily read and reviewed this story that I received through Book sprout.

They have been closer than brothers all their lives. Sharing one surrogate is more than ideal for them. this is book 2 in a great series. Here we have a planet that has been devised by war and because of this, they have turned to earth to help. I'm enjoying this series and look forward to reading the rest and there is a spin-off series after this!
This was part 2 of a series I started and wasn't sure whether I was going to like it. Now, while I'm not the biggest fan of the steamy scenes, maybe 1-2 flames for me out of a possible 5, the rest of the story is not awful. This book starts out in a parallel to the time frame as the first, where our MC meets the men/dragons at the same time as our previous MC, but it's a continuation of different characters in their world, and does pass the time of the other ending, referencing things that happened at the end of book 1. I'D READ THIS IN ORDER TO AVOID SPOILERS. I don't think this will be my first recommendation to someone but now I want to continue on to book 3 simply because I want to find out more about the "wolf" they keep referring to as "planning something". I love a bit of mystery. From one book nerd to another, happy reading.
This is the second book of the Nightflame Dragons. And it's nice to see each of the women getting their story.
This story...felt a little bland. Kian didn't spend as much time with Vanessa as Madden did. And while Vanessa wasn't really suppose to be on the program, it was nice she got mates too. Though it took her awhile to accept them. As a doctor though, I guess I expected more healing and stuff, never mind she doesn't have the powers to heal. Surely Vanessa isn't just for the humans?
Anyway, I like how the background story moves...the threat of the Cedric's heir so to speak, is maneuvering his way into the council. And the other alphas are pretty interesting too.
Very enjoyable and entertaining read and a great addition to the series. This is book two in the series so if you haven't read book one yet I totally recommend that you one click it so you can get a better understanding of the story. There plenty of action, intrigue, and of course steamy romance to keep you hooked from beginning to end. Add a ménage into the mix and you have a great read. So looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I received a free copy via Booksprout I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Vanessa’s career is over. Just when she hits her lowest she is offered the opportunity to go to Daeria to work as a healer for the human women in the surrogate program. Although she isn’t an actual part of the surrogate program, she finds her mates right away.
She is happy to be with her mates and still be a doctor, but she is in danger on this new world.
Vanessa isn’t a shrinking violet. She is strong and smart. Madden and Kian are great mates for her. They are patient and willing to give her time to accept them. She has a new start and is more than willing to grab onto her new future.
Hot!!! I've voluntarily reviewed this book. I love reading Milly Taiden stories. Dragon's Savior is the second book in the Nightflame Dragons series. Now I need to go back and read the first one in this series. Milly did it again with what she's good at. This story is about Vanessa, Madden, and Kian. I really enjoyed reading this book. It can be read as a stand-alone. But I think you need to start with the first book. Cause this picks up where Dragons' Jewel left off at. Keep up the amazing work! I can't wait to see what else you will bring to us.
This is Vanessa's book. I like that she wasn't there to take part in the surrogate program but found her mates anyway. This story was more of a slow burn. It allowed time for Vanessa to get to know Kian and Madden before making a commitment. There is a little more insight into the actions of Arden from the rogue faction. He wants to be able to take over as ruler of Daeria. Read to find out what is happening on this new planet. I enjoy reading this authors stories! Join in the fun and give this series a try.
I just finished the series with Gerri and her matchmaking. So, starting another series from the same writer is not my usual. I am glad I did.
Book one with the king and his second stealing the women meant for the wolves was a cool way to start the series. This second book picking up on the second pairing was done in a way that included the first book but not to the detriment of the second book. I loved the Prince, the healer and the earth doctor.
This is the second book in the series I advise you read book 1 before book 2 to get the full awesome affect of the storylines.
This time it's Madden Kian and Vanessa story I love how the books interconnect and how there work on earth (female characters) help them in this new world and with there mates.
I love Madden how loving he is and how Kian is so protective. And the news at the end was brilliant.
Milly Taiden Brings us the second book in the Nightflame Dragons series! Madden, Kain, and Vanessa have a bumpy start to their relationship. There is a lot of patience and understanding throughout this book!
I love that Kian and Madden are very different but exactly what Vanessa needs. I felt like the timeline jumped a bit to make sure it the events lined up properly with the first book! This did not detract from the book it was more of an observation. I can't wait for the 3rd book!
This was a light story about a human doctor who looses her license and ends up relocating to a new planet where she can practice. She comes across her 2 male mates and things get heated pretty quickly. There is alien planet politics, drama, hiking, and lots of baby making too. It was a fun, light and very quick read. The narration is super slow, so I had to speed up to 2,5x 😳 to sound normal to me (I normally listen at 2x speed anyway). Elizabeth Russel did a pretty good job narrating, even if too slow. Her voice is very soothing.
Loved loved loved this book! Truly love Vanessa's passion and dedication to take things slow and ultimately fight for those she loves. Kian and Madden are shifters and they know what loss is but when it comes to Vanessa they'll do anything to keep her even if they have restrain the urge to lock her in a room away from everyone. They also know how to cherish her and make her feel valued.
Taiden has outdone herself with this series!!!! Scorching Hot and Sensual with lots of loving and caring males who will do whatever it takes to protect their mates. If you haven't already tried anything from this author then you're missing out on some majorly amazing reading!!!!
Vanessa isn't sure she wants to be a surrogate, the disgraced doctor just wants a new start, a chance to practice medicine again. Madden and Kian show her that love conquers all of her fears, throw in a jealous crazy dragon and a megalomaniac wolf, makes for a great story.
