Until he moved into town.

Slater has watched his brothers find love and he's losing hope for himself. As the eldest of the three alphas, he feels like his dating pool is waning, like he's being left behind.

How long will he have to wait?

Niko is a brilliant, young omega with a passion for music. Moving to Furbitten Falls was his last choice, but he’s there to stay! Now, he's stuck beside a disgruntled old alpha who grumbles about his talents being too loud for comfort.

Will these two learn to make beautiful music together?

Join Slater and Niko as they fuss, fight, and fu-...fiddle around with each other's hearts. This mpreg wolf shifter rounds out the Furbitten Falls saga, though these books can be read in any order. Beware, younger readers. This book is too hot for anyone under 18 to handle!

Was a bit disappointed by this book, two main things bothered me. First off, this is the story of Slater who is the eldest of the three brothers and as this was to be the big finale I expected a top-notch job from the author instead what I got was something on the lukewarm side. The story seemed rushed and the writing distracted most of the time. Add to that the fact that there were SOOOOOO many spelling and editorial mistakes (all of them such that a spellchecker would miss them and a proofreader would not) that at times I considered just DNFing this. However, I wanted Slater's story so I persevered. I am giving this 3 stars mostly for the story (yes there is one there) and a bit for the other brothers appearances (though they were much less than in the other books). So much potential, yet apparently this was rushed out before that potential was reached. :-(

I'm going to be the odd one out there. I had a hard time finding anything likable about Niko. Normally I'm all over books with characters who have substantial age gaps. It would've worked better had Niko not been so immature. I didn't like him at the beginning and had a hard time liking him when it was all said and done. Slater, I loved.

ok the annoying dude next door who blasts music turns out to be your fated mate? karma is wicked twisted!

pregnancy hormones for this May / December shifter couple make things a little more instant on the one hand, and build pissy hormone fits on the other.

a cute and charming HEA!

I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Furbitten Falls Alpha's series. In this book, Slater is the oldest of the three brothers and the only one who hasn't found his mate. There is a curse on the brothers that they can only have a family with their fated mate. Slater is 39 and thinks he will have to settle on being an uncle to his brother's kids. Slater is an artist and lives with his cat Fishsticks. Fishsticks has a part in all of Slater's paintings and puts his paw prints on them. When Slater gets a new neighbor, he thinks he is handsome, but soon he begins to hate him because he plays loud music nonstop and Slater can't sleep or paint. Niko moves to Furbitten Falls for a change, but he still travels to Howling Hills to DJ at his brother Nyle's club. Niko is young and thinks it is fun to anger his new neighbor. Niko is attracted to Slater and is shocked to learn they are fated mates. Slater can't believe his new neighbor is his mate, but he is happy to finally find him. When they get together, Slater bites Niko, bonding them for life. Slater wants to have Niko with him forever, but when Niko finds out he is pregnant, he isn't allowed to work. Slater moves Niko into his apartment and loves taking care of him, but money is tight. Niko begins to think he is a burden and Slater will tire of him. They have a lot to work and they still need to get to know one another. I really liked this book. I loved Fishsticks. i thought he was adorable and had a lot of personality. Slater loved Niko and wanted his family, but was scared about being able to provide for them. Niko was still young and was used to working, when he couldn't he didn't know how to react. Niko felt worthless and that he was more trouble than he was worth. I think they were great together. Another great one.

I was excited to finally read slaters story. he was the last of his brothers to find his fated mate and he was approaching 40 and didnt think the day would ever come until an annoying and loud young guy moved in next door making his life miserable. Nikko was a young DJ who decided to move to furbidden falls and he moved eight next door to a older alpha who kept giving him a hard time about having his music too loud and something about the alpha drew him to him and he couldnt help the need to annoy his neighbor even more just so he could see him more. He enjoyed getting the alpha riled up and didnt know why until he realized he was his fated mate. Things kind of took off quickly after that for the couple and maybe a little too quickly. nikko was excited to find his fated mate and start a family but loved what he did for a living and didnt want to have to say goodbye to doing what he loved which was djing at rumblefish but he may have to pit that on hold for a while due to an unexpected surprise. I enjoyed revisiting the other characters again and I really enjoyed slaters brothers stories as well. I feel like these should be read in order just so you can know the characters more and be able to understand how the other characters come into play. This was sweet and fun quick m/m shifter read and I read it in one sitting.

The book blurb tells the story a lot better than I ever could. Furbitten Neighbor is another addition to the series "Furbitten Falls Alphas" Preston Walker has penned. In this world of Furbitten Falls, "fated mates" are very much wanted and needed. A curse was placed upon this shifter line that without your fated mate, you will be childless and loveless; guaranteeing the line to die out. We have Niko, an omega who was forced to move to Furbitten Falls for economic reasons and Slater, the oldest and the last brother, upset and despondent at not finding his "fated mate". Nico moves across the hall from Slater and is an absolute jerk by playing his "music" so loud Slater is not able to sleep nor paint. Several times he pounds Nico's door to turn the music down to no avail. Somehow, it turns out Nico, the brat, was Slater's mate. I am going to stop to avoid any spoilers. We have insta-love, chemistry, passion, and doubts about going into this relationship. I have to say I did not like this book as well as I liked the first two. I thought Nico was a brat and I could not relate to him. I thought Slater was a bit indecisive, not "alpha" enough for me. However, this was an entertaining read and I was glad Slater had his story. I like the way Preston writes: his sentence structure, his word usage, and his imagination. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a good and entertaining read in the mpreg universe.

Slater is a 39 year old alpha artist. His brothers have found their fated mates. Being cursed sucks big time. His brothers have found theirs and are working on having kids now. But here he is still single with not a sniff. Then while working on an art project he hears noise from outside. When he checks it out it;s a moving van. Niko is moving in to an apartment in Furbitten Falls. He;s a music person and it;s hard for him to move from where he;s lived. Now he;s in an apartment right next to Slater. The first thing set up is the sound system. Then it;s game on..music loud music. Meanwhile Slater is slowly going crazy with the loud music that it makes it hard for him to do any art. He goes over to ask him to turn his music down and gets a sniff of his mate! Then Niko plays a dangerous game...he times his music to when Slater is either asleep or just getting up. Then Slater;s cat escapes and heads to Niko;s apartment. He goes to get him and both him and Niko are drawn into the mate bond. Now what does Slater do or should do. Will this even work out?
Beautiful story about two different types of wolves who need to find a middle ground or lose their bond.
Fantastic story and read.

Slater feels like he’s being left behind. As the oldest of 3 alpha brothers, he’s watched his two younger brothers find their mates and start families. He’s almost 40 and he feels his dating pool is waning.

Niko is a young omega who just moved to Furbitten Falls as a last ditch effort to make something of himself. He loves his music and when he moves next door to a grumpy older man who does nothing but complain about his music being too loud, he’s determined to drive his new neighbor crazy.

Slater is being driven mad by his new neighbor. The constant loud music is preventing him from working on his art. Niko knows he’s driving his neighbor crazy. When they actually spend more than a few seconds together they both find themselves strangely attracted to each other. It doesn’t take long for them to both figure out that they’re each other’s fated mate.

Despite their age difference they are exactly what the other needs. You can’t cheat fate.

This was a great way for the trilogy to come to an end. I loved that it ended at where the Howling Hills series began.

This is book 3 of the series and each book can be read as a stand alone. This book is about the oldest brother Slater and his fated mate Niko. I'll be honest....I did not like Niko. He was a snarky, little punk that got on my very last nerve and it took a lot for me to even tolerate him. I really like Slater, but to me, he was kind of a wuss by letting Niko walk all over him in the beginning. He did not appear to be this weak in the other two books.

However, this book did have probably one of my most favorite lines ever....As Slater is painting on Niko .... (it looked like a planet all its own. Because that is what he was carrying in there, a little person who was about to become my whole world.) That phrase spoke volumes and redeemed Slater for me, for the most part anyway.

All in all, a nice story. Not my favorite in the series, but still a good story.

Would I recommend this book? Yes

Would I read more from this author? Yes

This is a wonderful, enthralling & heartwarming MM shifter romance. The plot is well-written and entertaining with interesting events. The main characters struggle with personal & emotional issues, while the secondary characters play a good supporting role.
There is: a alpha male artist looking for love (Slater), his two alpha brothers (Jarrett & Chasen), a young male omega with a passion for loud music (Niko), drama, wolf shifters, fated mates, friendship, caring brothers, memories, dreams, moving, aggression, loud music, dissatisfaction, anger, frustration, deliberate irritation, unexpected discovery, attractions, bonding, unexpected illness, a surprise, excitement, anxiety, financial issues, brotherly advice, doubts, disagreements, misunderstanding, emotional turmoil, declaration, apologies, happiness, love, some steam & an perfect conclusion.
I enjoyed reading this MM shifter romance & would recommend it.

Niko moves into a new apartment and next to his fated mate.
Moving from Howling hills to Furbitten Falls is a chance for Niko to become more independent and he now has a large apartment for all his music equipment that he uses getting ready for his gigs as a DJ.Slater fell in love with his apartment when he saw all the light coming in the window would be ideal for his painting and he and his cat Fishstick who always puts paw prints on his canvases. A New neighbor moves in and start to play music so loud the walls shake but when this keeps happening so that he is unable to sleep he goes and complains. The scent he picks up as the door is opened is that of his fated mate. A shifter romance to relax and enjoy.

I absolutely loved how Preston Walker and Liam Kingsley were able to blend their two series together through Slater and Nico's story. Right where this book ends Knot the Broseph begins. Slater was a little jealous of his brothers finding their mates and having their families when he was the oldest and still single. Nico was the perpetual partier which worked in his favor as a DJ at his brother Nyle's club. His partying ways were actually what finally got Slater's attention and with a little more help from Fishstick, they discovered they were fated mates. Nico's hormones and insecurities got the better of him when he thought Slater was just using him to further his career by using his connections. With a little push from Nyle, Nico was able to see how wrong he was, support Slater and get his family back.

I was looking forward to this book, but I was not impressed. I've read several books by this author and this was not one of my favorites. Slater, being the oldest, is a bit down having both of his brothers find their mates. I could like the older man falls for a younger man, but Nico was so immature, selfish and rude. Not at all what I would have wanted for Slater. Nico starts out a jerk and is so rude and inconsiderate he actually runs Slater out of his home for a few days. It's not like it's accidental either, he purposefully tries to irritate Slater. He uses one of his contacts to help Slater and then gets mad at him. I never was able to work up any kind of empathy for Nico. He was just to childish to like. I thought Slater got the short end of the mate stick. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.

Another great read in this series. This is book three and it will not disappoint. Slater is the oldest brother who at this point still hasn't met his fated mate. He is an artist and by the age of 39 and still single and lives with his cat. He thinks this is it for him. That all changes when a new neighbour moves in, Niko who plays his music way to loud and all hours of the day and night and is much younger then Slater. When he finds out that Niko is his fated mate things change and fast. Suddenly Niko finds out he is pregnant, will they be able to come together as a family. The story will keep you interested till the end to see what happens with these two. A great series.

Slater has always had an artistic passion, music helps him create his paintings, and he has a secret element that no other has. Niko has always been passionate about music, the way it makes him feel and, as a deejay, how he can make it his own.
Being neighbors has created a tense friction between Slater and Niko but it is also stirring up uncontrollable feelings and an intense attraction.
Their relationshipis full of angst and passion, ups and downs, and a true connection that will be tested to the limits. Add in an adorable cat and some crazy pregnancy hormones and this story will take you on a wild ride that leads to love and a satisfying HEA.

Music blasting and pitter patter of little feet when all you want is peace and quiet! Niko plays his music too loud keeping Slater up is a DJ working in his brother's Nyle's club. Slater, Alpha last of his brothers still unmarried, admits to being jealous he hasn't found his mate yet. Slater scents something while knocking on Niko's door. Niko is a bit of a diva not usually attracted to older men. Slater intrigued and ready for his mate. Does the differences in ages matter? Is Niko ready for an older mate? Can they manage the differences in their temperments enough to make it to happy? Nice story. Not as feisty as the first two. Cool the way this leads to Knot the Broseph another awesome series. Well done! I received this book as an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

**spoilers**

Niko is a brat. A talented DJ who needs to grow up. He moves in across the hall from Slater, the hot older Alpha artist. Niko acts the brat to keep Slater coming over to his door. Sparks fly once they realize they're fated mates. Things go from 0 to 100 awfully quick and Niko ends up pregnant and allows his own doubts coupled with hormones get the best of him and he runs from Slater thinking he has nothing to contribute and that Slater is using him to advance his art. Eventually they find their way back to each other and have their HEA, but it takes some time and some close calls to get there.

This is the third book in the Furbitten Falls Alpha series.
Slater is he oldest of the three Ewen brothers. Both Jarrett and Chasen had found their fated mates and started their families. Slater was beginning to believe he would never find his.
As Slater is painting one day the new neighbour moves in.
Nico is from Howling Hills but cannot afford to live there so he moves to Furbitten Falls. He is a DJ at Club Rumblefish and often practices at home, with no consideration for any of the neighbours.
After more than a week without sleep Slater finally goes to complain and after meeting Nico he realises he is living next door to his fated mate.

The story of Slater and Niko is the latest addition to the Furbitten Falls Alphas series. Slater (an older artist) and Niko (a young DJ) becomes neighbors and sparks fly as Nikos loudness disturbs Slaters quiet creative time. Once they really meet they realize they are fated mates and fun begins. You get chemistry, drama, love and a HEA with a beautiful baby. This is a great story and I can't wait to see what happens with Niko's brother Nyle and Seph which I hope is coming up in the next book. Can you tell I love this series?!

This was such a cute story! I really enjoyed reading it.
Slater and Niko were a match made in heaven. Their meeting was fast but you still cannot help but find them adorable! I loved reading their story.
And can we just take a moment to talk about that gallery scene? It was just so detailed and perfect that I felt as if I was standing right there with the characters. I was so proud of Slater and the excitement it stirred made me want to look at his art and actually buy a painting…until I remembered I was not really standing there and it was just a story. Really well done!

Slater oldest of 3rd there only one who hasn't found his fated mate. He is an abstract artist and paints to music (80's music at this time). His cat Fishstick helps him by walking on the paintings and leaving footprints.
Niko is a DJ and lives for his music, at high volume night and day so that the walls vibrate. To save money he moves into ate apt next to Slater.
When Slater complains because he can't sleep, Niko calls him grandpa. But he just wants to get under his skin, he thinks he is hot!
This is their story, sweet you know how it will go story.

Loved this book. It has that unexpected love connection between Slater and Niko. Like opposites attract only they are perfect for each other. Niko is an omega and a great DJ, loves his music loud, even louder when his neighbor Slate keeps coming over to tell him to turn it down. A good way to get a good look at the hot Slater from across the hall. Slater is an artist and also loves music, but with a headset and the 80's playing. As they clash neither one can deny the attraction any longer, and now with a baby on the way, who is going to give up something to make it work? Such a fun easy read and a great happily ever after.

I received this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review.

In this episode of the Furbitten Series it's the eldest of the Ewen brothers to find his life mate & what a surprising fate it is, as it's a very annoying younger new neighbour Niko who blasts his music at all hours & he pushes it more & more so get Slater's attention.
And it's when Slater decides he can't continue to hold back & ignore Niko by deciding to get with him & it's on that first time he can't hold back.
Come & see how the 2 of these new attracted Mates join & progress on forward & how Jarrett & Brent's & Chasen & Tate's families have been doing...

Furbitten Neighbor by Preston Walker is the third book in The Furbitten Falls Alphas series. It's a fun little story about finding your true mate In your obnoxious neighbor. Great way to finish off this entertaining series.

Slater is a 39 year old artist who's been waiting to find his fated mate so that he can start a family. When his new 22 yr old neighbor, Niko, moves in, he brings his DJ equipment and spends the first few weeks driving Slater crazy. But they soon realize they could be something to each other.

This was really sweet and interesting to me. I kind of liked how young and inexperienced and unsure Niko was of himself. It just brought an aspect of raw fragility to the story, which I enjoyed. This was a great addition to the series.
