Leo Varma doesn’t need love. At thirty-seven, he’s satisfied with focusing on his career, friends, and casual hookups. Besides, getting into a real relationship would mean finally telling his conservative family that he’s gay, and possibly losing them forever. He’s convinced himself that living in the shadows is good enough... until he meets Dylan.
Dylan Drake-Matthews might be a catastrophe on two legs, but he loves life. After taking a part-time job at the club Leo frequents, the wide-eyed nineteen-year-old dives into the kink scene with both feet. When his first few attempts end in disaster, Leo takes Dylan under his wing, and everything clicks in a surprising way.
But secret encounters can only carry them so far. Dylan’s authenticity and personal honesty make Leo wish things were different in his own life, while Leo’s family situation keeps him from being what Dylan needs. Can Leo face his fears? Or will he let the love he never expected to find slip through his fingers?
Leo & His Lion is an 80K word May/December, kitten play MM romance featuring an adorable kitten, the sexy man he calls Daddy, and superhero underwear. It is the second book in the Oh My! series and can be read as a standalone.
Andi James has been in love with books and words her entire life. She writes about people finding things — themselves, happiness, love — and edits all kinds of stories. Her two dogs and three cats are her favorite co-workers. She adores coffee, the night sky, and horror movies.
When I met Dylan in Teddy and His Bear, I immediately liked him. He was so cute and clumsy. I also really liked what I saw of Leo. A sweet Dom, who knew how to handle Dylan. But I had no idea that this book would have one of my least favorite plot point to drive the story. A closeted gay man who won’t come out because of his family..
Dylan is Teddy’s clumsy friend and coworker. Dylan is 19 years old, has a booming laugh, says everything he thinks, trips over nothing, and tries to set the coffeeshop on fire on a daily basis.
When he meets Leo, he immediately likes the older man (Leo is 37). When Leo mentions the BDSM club Knots might have a job for Dylan, Dylan immediately goes for it, since he is looking for a second job. And that’s how Dylan ends up with a job at the BDSM club Leo frequents as a Dom.
Leo has taken Dylan under his wing and the two become pretty good friends. It is clear from both sides that there is plenty of attraction, but Leo also told Dylan that Leo is not out and never will be. So there can be no relationship.
When Dylan asks Leo to help him figure out if Dylan might be a submissive, Leo agrees and sets up a few scenes with other Doms for Dylan. But when one of them bails at the last minute, Dylan asks Leo to step in….
I absolutely disliked Leo. I had zero respect for him, being a 37 year old gay man who didn’t plan on coming out to his family, ever. Who even brought a girlfriend to the monthly family dinners for years (Siobhan was the owner of Knots, and happily married to a woman). And who never ever brought a man into his own house, because what if his parents came by unexpectedly? He also didn’t ever have sex outside of Knots, because someone in his family of a family friend might see him.
I also really hated how he told Dylan that sure, they could hook up, but Leo would also continue to have scenes with subs at Knots, yes, with sex. I wanted Dylan to find someone who would cherish him, who would want him above all others. And while Leo might be sweet to him, he refused to give up his sexual encounters with others, and he certainly didn’t want to come out for Dylan.
Yes, that changed when they really did start seeing each other, but that was somewhere around the 50 or 60% mark. So Dylan got a lot of Leo bullshit before Leo finally admitted to wanting something more with Dylan (even though there is no mention of Leo actually having sex with someone else). And even then Leo told Dylan they could only ever see each other at Knots, because of Leo’s ‘rules’. Well, F$%^@&!& those rules! Dylan was a wonderfully sweet cinnamon roll and I wanted someone to treat him right! And that sure wasn’t Leo.
And can I say how incredibly angry I was at Leo when he Yes, Leo felt terrible, but that wasn't enough for me. He really hurt Dylan and if I were Dylan I would have never forgiven him. If I didn't already dislike Leo, I now hated him after that particular part.
I really liked the previous book and I was sure I would love a book about Dylan. But no, the authors really made me dislike everything about this one. Except Dylan, I loved Dylan.
The next book is about Tony and Jason, and I don’t think I’ll be reading it. These two have only ever been angry with each other in this book and the previous one, and I so don’t like angry people.
(Oh, BTW, this book has kitten play, since that’s what Dylan ends up liking, but it didn’t play that big a role in the entire story.)
Of course i loved this i read it less then 24 hours. It was sweet and so adorable i just love Dylan and Leo so much together 🥰😍. I will say even though i loved this i think i loved teddy and his bear a little more there is just a special place in my heart for that book. Overall i really loved this book and would totally recommend it. I can’t wait for the third book tony and his tiger.
Leo and His Lion is a hilarious, smutty, kinky, Age gap, kitty play, MM, contemporary and entertaining love story with a sweet HEA. When I read it , few months ago, I laughed like a loon and I was expecting to laugh as much or more , while listening to it. Yet, that didn't happened. My only smile/chuckle was during Dylan's Ta-Da.
Unfortunately , and it's pains saying so, Michael Fell narration didn't do it justice. His delivery was dry and colorless. It wasn't funny , witty and lively like the story is written. Humor , telling jokes , comedic timing are a gifts and not all of us have it. What made Lucille Ball, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock wonderful and memorable comedians , funny individuals? Among many things it's a combination of tone, inflection , pacing and delivery.
Don't get me wrong, Michael Fell is a very good narrator; his voice is pleasing , natural and his diction faultless. However, in this audiobook, being able to be funny, amusing is vital; and he isn't.
In conclusion: A bland and flat narration of a funny , hot AF and laughing out loud, romance MM story.
Received AXC code and am leaving my unbiased review.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ORIGINAL EBOOK REVIEW : Sept 8 , 2019 “Sunshine, air, and tacos?” “Yeah, you know. Everything you need to survive.”
I. Love. This. Book.
I haven't laughed this much while reading a book in a long while. Leo and His Lion by Andi JamesLila Wilde has the perfect combination of humor , heart , steam.
"Leo smirked and looked down. “Dylan…” His voice was cautious. “Are those… Superman underwear?” Dylan grinned. “Yeah, these are my favorite.” He attempted to wink at Leo. “Wanna feel my impression of the Man of Steel?”
This story is gold. And I think it is going to be one of those books that I will read again and again.
"Dylan nodded and turned, walking halfway to the bar before he remembered his manners and returned to the group. He looked at Barrett. “I’m sorry, Sir. May I acquire a beverage for you as well this fine evening?” Barrett’s eyebrows lifted and he glanced at Leo, then back to Dylan. “Um, yes. Thank you, Dylan. A water would be great.” Dylan nodded then looked at Teddy, curled into Barrett’s side. “And for your…” What was the right word here? Sub? Boy? Little dude? “Um, how about for your Teddy?” Teddy smiled warmly. “That would be great. Thanks, Dylan.” “As you wish.” Dylan bowed stiffly from the waist and walked to the bar, but not before hearing Barrett ask in a low voice, “Has he always had a British accent?”
Looking for an Age Gap , lite Kitty Kink , laughing out loud , hilarious and silly , steamy and hot story with adorable and likeable MC and a awesome supporting cast , look no farther . Dylan and Leo is the story!
So I've read my fir share of m/m books. I absolutely loved Teddy and his Bear and was stoked for both Leo/Dylan and Jason/Tony stories. Dylan is amazing, adorable, and overall great human being. Leo....Leo is a coward. If it wasnt for Dylan I would not have finished this book. Leo is supposed to be a Dom, well respected dentist and a loved member of Knots but he is scared of coming out and lives for his parents. Like grow up and be your own person. He makes this story very hard to read. Even by the end of the book I still dont find him deserving of Dylan.
What a great story! Dylan was so adorable and clumsy and funny and sweet and... I won't go on but I did love him. And then there's Leo, an older man, a Dom, a professional, of Indian heritage, and unwilling to tell his family he's gay for fear of losing them.
I'm a bit done with that trope but the rest of the story made up for it because Dylan was terrific. And the kitten kink was super hot, not overdone, and just perfect for this couple.
So if you like Daddy kink, kitten play, and/or sweet, adorable MCs in a May-December relationship, this is the one to pick up.
Dylan Matthews ist eine wandelnde Katastrophe. Geschickt ist er nicht. Dafür ist er liebenswürdig, abenteuerlustig und vielleicht auch ein wenig naiv. Aber er ist ein guter Kerl, den man einfach mögen muss. Und Dylan ist auch neugierig und mutig um sich Änderungen in seinem Leben zu stellen. Über Freunde lernt er dann Leo Varma kennen. Der indischstämmige Arzt ist deutlich älter als Dylan und interessiert. Jedoch ist Leo auch ungeoutet und seine Familie hat Erwartungen an ihn, die Leo jedoch nicht erfüllen kann.
Dylan und Leo werden Freunde, auch wenn der Altersunterschied groß ist und ihre Charaktere doch sehr unterschiedlich sind. Dylan entdeckt, dass das Leben noch soviel mehr bietet und Leo könnte der Schlüssel sein. Doch Leo ziert sich. Ja, er mag Dylan und verschafft ihm auch einen Job in seinem Lieblingsclub. Aber er kann sich nicht outen und Dylan das geben was er will. Doch Dylan ist zäher und hartnäckiger als er aussieht. Und er hat einen sehr langen Atem!
Beide Helden kennt man schon aus dem ersten Teil der Reihe. Und bei Dylan kommt man doch aus dem Kopfschütteln nicht heraus. Er ist wirklich sehr ungeschickt, vorlaut und denkt erst, wenn er schon geredet hat. Aber er ist ein absoluter Sympathieträger. Und mit der Zeit bekommt er auch wirklich ein Profil. Denn Dylan ist auch sehr mutig und für sein Alter wirkt er manchmal schon viel zu reif und verständnisvoll.Und Verständnis braucht man bei Leo, der einfach nicht aus seiner Haut heraus kann und sich immer wieder vor einem unfreiwilligen Outing fürchtet. Richtig frei fühlt er sich nur in seinem Club. Erst Dylan scheint so etwas wie ein Erwecker zu sein. Denn Dylan wächst Leo ans Herz und weckt in ihm den Wunsch nach mehr und vor allem nach einem freien Leben, das auch frei von Lügen und falschen Erwartungen ist.
Die Helden haben mich sehr überrascht und vor allem Dylan wächst dem Leser schnell ans Herz. Bei Leo hat es ein wenig gedauert. Er ist ein guter Kerl und weiss im Grunde, dass er etwas an seinem Leben ändern müsste. Aber er will eben seinen Eltern und deren Erwartungen gerecht werden. Leider ist das mit der Kultur seiner Familie eben nicht vereinbar und diese Erwartungen treiben Leo zu immer mehr Lügen und Ausflüchten. Das macht ihn nicht immer sympathisch, wenn auch durchaus authentisch. Denn man weiss im Grunde ja, in welchem Dilemma er sich befindet. Mir hat die Geschichte echt gut gefallen und ich werde sie gern wieder lesen.
Dnf at 31% I will probably finish it later. I stopped reading because I didn’t really feel any chemistry between the two main MCs. Dylan is adorable though 🥰
So I liked the first book in this series but I LOVED this one. I had so many feelings! I even actually cried at one point which is not a common thing for me. Dylan is fabulous and so unapologetically himself. And Leo is the perfect caretaker, even if he doesn’t realize how much he needs someone to take care of him too. I really liked the open kink discussion and that Dylan tried out a couple before he found what fit. It felt so natural, and was very very well done. Honestly, I just liked the whole thing. So many laughs, smiles, and like I said actual tears.
This book is so, so sweet. This was the first kitty play I've ready, although I've read a bit of puppy play, and I absolutely loved it. I was interested to see how it would be different from puppy play and it didn't disappoint. The dynamic between the two in this story is so adorable and playful, I smiled through the whole thing. The heat level was higher than the first book and I'm not complaining about that whatsoever. Overall, a fantastic read.
One thing I just love about reading erotica is the opportunity to explore many kinds of kinks - without the mess or expense! I was curious about kitten play and decided to test out this rarely explored idea in Leo and His Lion by Andi James and Lila Wilde.
Dylan is an adorable clutz. Someone who is often misunderstood or treated harshly but who is supremely forgiving and kind. He has a liking for superhero underwear and knows he has much to give, but doesn’t know how to go about finding out where he belongs.
Leo is a man who knows who he is and keeps his personal life extremely private so that his ultra-conservative family won’t find out he’s gay. He is giving and loving, which is why he spends so much time and energy protecting his family from what he fears will tear them apart. But when Leo meets Dylan, his carefully structured rules and boundaries are shaken, and for the first time he struggles with keeping the borders of his heart secure.
Leo finds Dylan’s clumsiness and awkwardness simply enchanting and wants so much to help him bloom and find his place in the world. Dylan is kind and understanding of the situation Leo is in but they can’t find future happiness together with Leo’s restrictions in place.
I am completely smitten with Dylan’s character and just wanted to cuddle him throughout the book! Dylan’s quote: “‘I’m pan. I’m into hearts, not parts,’” was a perfect description of how I see pansexuality, and I identify with him on a few levels. Leo’s struggle was more difficult to read through, and I may have shouted at him more than once to ‘grow some balls’. But his behaviour ultimately made for a gasp-worthy climax to the story and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Andi James and Lila Wilde create a captivating journey for Leo and Dylan with some highs and lows that pull your emotions through the ringer but leave you sighing as you close the book. Leo and His Lion is an enjoyable story with a peek into kitten play and some giggle-worthy scenarios where you can’t help but feel for poor Dylan and his unfortunate clumsiness! It can definitely be enjoyed as a standalone as I had no trouble grasping the side characters and story line, despite not having read book 1 of the Oh My! series.
I had a really hard time reviewing this book. I adored sweet Dylan. He was honest, kind, and what you see is what you get. Then there's Leo. Leo comes from a conservative Indian family. He won't come out because he's convinced he'll lose them.
All of that I got.
Dylan went into the relationship knowing exactly what he was going into. If he couldn't be public with Leo that was okay. He didn't have to like it but that's the way it was and likely always would be.
I was really enjoying the book even if I felt that Leo's issues went on for too long. I understood (for the most part) where he was coming from with his family.
But then he blew it. He let Dylan down. I couldn't come back from that.
I ended this loving Dylan. I loved Leo until he made a really stupid decision. If I was rating this book based on Dylan alone it would easily be 5 stars. Leo had me dropping it a star.
I'm eager to read Jason and Tony's story next. There's been a lot of back and forth between them in the first 2 books. I can't wait to see how their relationship plays out.
Lila & Andi have done it again. This book was great with enough angst that made me nervous for Leo and Dylan but it was otherwise sweet and sexy. I absolutely adored Dylan! He was so kind and understanding even if he was a klutz. Leo did some questionable things to Dylan but he redeemed himself and was otherwise a great partner for him. I can't wait for the next book!
Oh my I really enjoyed this much more than the first book. I quite liked Leo and Dylan was precious 🥰 I loved the two of them together and I enjoyed the kitty play in this more than the others I've read.
Mixed feelings about this book. Love Dylan, he's so adorable and makes me want to pet him. Although I wish in the age gap trope that the younger partner wasn't so young, in Dylan's case I would have liked him to have had more time on his own before getting stuck with Leo. I disliked Leo for most of the book, and by the end I despised him. I tried to understand his fear of coming out to his family, but think at his age he should have been honest with them sooner. What really got me was how he was so afraid to even be seen with Leo, or almost any other male, in any situation in public, like men couldn't be friends. His lack of support of Dylan concerning the awards ceremony and later at the club showed how much he didn't deserve Dylan. Dylan was 5 stars while Leo brought the book down to my 3 star rating.
I was really excited to get this book but it kinda fell a little flat for me. I fell in love with Dylan and Leo in Teddy’s story. But this story Leo just annoyed me! Dylan was still super cute and clumsy and I still really enjoyed his character!!! 3.5 Stars ⭐️
A cute read, although a little frustrating with Leo taking so long to linger in the closet. I enjoyed Leo and Dylan and their journey, pretty low angst - a bit of fun
Auf das Buch der Reihe habe ich mich sehr gefreut. Dylan fand ich schon im ersten Band absolut bezaubernd, auch wenn er eine wandelnde Katastrophe war.
Wie schon im ersten Band zeigen die beiden Autoren hier, dass sie Charakterentwicklung können. Dylan mausert sich von einem unsicheren und sich treiben lassenden jungen Erwachsenen, der von seinen überbehütenden Müttern verhätschelt und ein wenig bevormundet wird, zu einem Menschen, der für sich einsteht. Er weiß, was er will und setzt sich gegen seine Mütter durch um mit seiner Kunst sein Leben zu bestreiten. Zudem entdeckt er auch seine Sexualität neu und sucht nach dem Kink, bei dem es für ihn klickt. Dylan ist offen und neugierig und geht mit einer unschuldigen Naivität an die Sache heran, die einfach nur bezaubernd ist.
Leo ist eigentlich das komplette Gegenteil zu Dylan. Abgesehen von den 18 Jahren Altersunterschied, steht er als Zahnarzt mit eigener Praxis sicher im Leben. Leo lebt seine Sexualität selbstsicher, vor allem mit One-Night-Stands aus. Doch die Bekanntschaft mir Dylan reißt einige Risse in das von außen betrachtete perfekte Leben von Leo. Ich fand es spannend, wie Leo sein Leben in einigen Aspekten umkrempeln muss, um sich einzugestehen, dass er mit Dylan ein Leben zusammen führen möchte.
In diesem Buch sind die BDSM-Aspekte um einiges präsenter. Ich möchte nicht verraten, welcher Kink am Ende der richtige für Dylan und Leo ist, aber bisher kenne ich nicht viele Bücher mit dieser Variante. Aber kleiner Tipp, der Titel des Buches ist schon ein Hinweis. Das Sprachniveau des Buches würde ich, wie beim ersten Buch, bei A2/B1 vermuten. Also traut euch, ihr verpasst sonst ein wirklich tolles Buch.
Teddy und Barrett hatten auch hier ihre kleinen Auftritte, was mein Leserherz gleich hat höher schlagen lassen. Und Jason und Tony, die Protagonisten des dritten Teils, lassen mich sehr neugierig auf das nächste Buch werden. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, es zu lesen. Eine unbedingte Leseempfehlung von mir! Ich konnte das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen und es wandert definitiv in meine Favoriten.
This wasn't an easy audiobook to rate or listen to for me.
I loved Dylan. He was so sweet and awkward and I felt he deserved more than what he got with Leo. I loved the whole kitty-play angle. I hadn't read/listened to any books with it and I enjoyed it more than I expected, I wish there had been more scenes exploring it, but I was satisfied with what we got.
I liked catching up with Barrett and Teddy and I really liked Jason, I'm not all that sure about Tony, though, or the chemistry between them, but I will probably give it a try.
I liked Leo at first, even if he was closeted. Unfortunately, after the encounter with his parents' friend at the pet store and then him bailing on Dylan for the contest dinner, I just lost any respect I could've had for him and I stopped caring about him altogether. He didn't deserve Dylan and that made me lose interest in the last part of the story. I'm sure I'll be in the minority here, but it is what it is and we like what we like, I guess.
While Michael Fell has a pleasant voice, his narration fell a bit flat for me. Still, it was enjoyable enough, it just lacked something.
Anyway, even if the book missed its mark for me in some senses, it had some fun and entertaining parts and Dylan was a lovely character to read about, so, try it out, maybe you'll like it more than I did.
There are so many reasons I loved this book! Dylan is so energetic and more than a little clumsy most of the time, but he is absolutely flippin’ adorable. And Dylan’s .. uh, adventures.. while trying to figure out his kink are hilarious, omg. The chemistry he shares with Leo is sizzling, but Leo’s determination to play straight with his family puts up one heck of a roadblock for these two. The back and forth on Leo’s side was frustrating for a bit, but the sexual tension is delicious, and the moment they figure out Dylan’s kink is surprisingly powerful and moving.. and by far my favorite moment in the book. I loved the exploration of kitty play and the relationship Dylan and Leo manage to build in spite of everything working against them. It’s sweet and hot as hell, and they truly bring out the best in each other. I definitely loved getting more Teddy and Barrett in this one, too, and I *need* Tony and His Tiger!
What a great story! I've been meaning to read this for a while, but hadn't had the time until now -- wish I hadn't put it off for so long. Dylan is utterly delightful, even though his first night working at Knots had me cringe/laughing. And Leo...so frustrating seeing him giving up living his life for fear of someone outing him to his family. Makes me want to re-read Teddy and His Bear -- I'll have to be content with waiting for Tony and Jason's book to arrive!
Cuddle Cookies, comic books and a mop of curly hair might be parts of the Dylan & Leo love connection. Never thought I write endearing and D/s in the same sentence but it’s all true about this story. I love sweet Dylan and W.I.P. Leo. The writing is good, the tropes well used and storytelling is interesting enough.
I adored Dylan in the first story so I couldn't wait to get into his story, I was intrigued by Leo and these two seemed to be a great match. This book definitely made me more in love with Dylan and his a favourite of mine, I just love that his always so himself unapologetically. He might mess up and be uncertain about things, yet he just does his own thing and I adored him for it.
Leo is the perfect partner for Dylan in introducing him to the scene, finding out what works for him and being so caring towards him as Dylan is not exactly like the average sub. He struggles with some of the aspects, yet the kitten play is pure perfection and fits him so well. I loved the exploration into various elements of kink and how its different for everyone, it was a lot of fun.
I enjoyed Dylan and Leo's relationship a lot, they both provide something for the other in this wonderful way. Leo is a good balance for Dylan, while Dylan pushes Leo out of his comfort zone and I enjoyed getting to see them develop.
Sadly the last few chapters boosted the angst in a really annoying way, that made me lose a bit of love for Leo as he was a bit of a dick. I understand his situation and that his used to hiding, but it's not even that he let Dylan down romantically he did as a friend too as that's all he needed to be there. It was such a huge and important thing for Dylan, yet he just thought about himself which annoyed me a lot.
Of course Dylan is just so sweet and loving though, his such an understanding and lovable guy. I liked that Leo finally did the right thing, although it fell a bit flat to me since it was made this huge deal for the majority.
I have to mention Jason too! As I loved his friendship with Dylan here so much, it was really adorable and great to see.
Overall I enjoyed this story a lot and it has a sweet happy ending. Dylan definitely made it for me though, I'd probably drop to 3 stars if not for how much I love him! Xx
I like this one quite a bit more than the first one if only because it had some freaking depth. Leo is a 37-year-old Indian American gay man who is deeply closeted. He is terrified to come out to his family and has gone so far as to bring a fake girlfriend to family dinners for years. I'm mentioning this right off the bat because I read a couple reviews that criticized the fact that Leo was closeted and I think that unless you are queer yourself you cannot comment on someone's choice to come out. Frankly you shouldn't comment on it at all but to come in and say that Leo was being unfair and selfish and mean because he was closeted is intensely homophobic. Coming out is scary as hell and it's a very vulnerable place to be especially if you don't know how people are going to react. It's scary even if you are fairly certain that the people you're coming out to are allies. Coming out to a homophobic family sounds traumatizing especially if you're close to that family and you don't want to lose them even though they're sometimes homophobic pieces of shit.
So anyway, this is an age gap romance and a fairly significant age gap at that. Dylan is 19 and he is clumsy and just a energetic ball of pure energy. He cannot sit still he constantly wants to help but in all of his helpful endeavors something gets broken or not over or hurt etc. He's just trying to do his best but he's a lot and I love him. Dylan and Leo meet because of Teddy and Barrett from the first book, and basically Leo gets Dylan a job at the BDSM club because he needs extra money only now Leo is forced to confront his feelings for Dylan even though he knows he can't come out.
Dylan on the other hand is really interested in kink and trying to explore where he falls as a submissive. Due to his clumsy and over energized personality a lot of the doms at the club don't appreciate him and say that he is a bad submissive which is trash by the way. Anyway ends up with Leo helping Dylan and discover kitten play, which was fucking adorable. I have only read one other book with kitten play in it and this one was so cute.
Moving along, a lot of this book focus on us on the fact that Leo knows that he needs to come out in order to be with Dylan in order for it to be fair to Dylan despite Dylan not saying that. Dylan understands Leo's predicament and does not push him to come out at any point in this book. All of Leo's hang ups about coming out are from him. This obviously leads to some tension and some major mistakes on the part of Leo, but they obviously work it out in the end. This is a happily ever after book of course.
God, I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard reading a book. I just wanna hold Dylan forever! This book is perfect: hilarious beyond measure, sexy, and soooo enjoyable to read. Prepare yourself for much much fun! Their chemestry is undeniable from the very beggining, and Dylan isn't afraid to go after what he wants!
Fantastic book! I was excited about Dylan's story; since Teddy and His Bear I knew he was just adorable and an amazing person, not just a 'distracted and careless' boy. It was so fun to see him discovering his kinky side, the ups and downs on this, and the interactions with his friends. He's special. And even when he does it all wrong , it's always with the best of intentions, what makes him the most adorable kitten ever - I mean, hufflepuffs!
Leo, on the other hand... It was a bit of a rollercoaster. At first I really like him; but as the story developed, I was annoyed by his excuses and lack of commitment - to Leo, himself, his feelings -. Yes, we undertand it can be a difficult situation, but sometimes I felt he was basically hiding; It felt like Dylan was the only one really trying to work out their arrangement - and It was supposed to be the other way around...
But not even that took of the shine and glow of the story, just added a little bit of angst and seriousness to it. Overall, I just loved them! And can't wait for Tony and Jason. There's much history there...
I am absolutely loving the Oh My! series. First there was Teddy and His Bear which was all sorts of adorable and now there's Leo and His Lion. The Lion in question being Dylan. Dylan is a total hoot I adored him. Dylan is clumsy and in his own little world half the time but he's young, sweet and adorable. I loved how although he was new to kink he wasn't a shy retiring virgin like some subby characters can be in kink books. But that's not to say he didn't need or want his Daddy Leo. Although this book is less about the daddy link than book 1 there is definitely still elements there especially in the ways that Leo gets Dylan and takes care of him. So swoony! And Leo needed the love of his kitten and to have something worth fighting for to finally come out. I really felt sorry him and the oppression he felt in his life having to keep a part of him self hidden for so long. I'm so happy Dylan was able to help him with that. We've been introduced to a few side characters from the kink club so I hope there are many more stories to come.
