When you're searching for The PERFECT Read, The PERFECT Combination is the answer.
Author D.D. Lorenzo combines the ONLY cliffhanger in The IMPERFECTION Series with its conclusion. You won't be left hanging when you read No PERFECT Man and No PERFECT Time.
A love story doesn't always begin with love at first sight, but the Men's Fashion model, Declan Sinclair, may have just become a believer. From the comfort of a beachfront porch, he watches a woman as she strolls along the shoreline. Lost in thought, she doesn't notice him as he sips his coffee. She doesn't meet the requirements that the Fashion Industry dictates of women. She's different, and "different" is its own type of beauty.
Aria Cole wants to crawl inside herself, pull a blanket over her head, and make the hurt go away. The man she loved more than anything in the world—her father—has died. However, hiding from the world won't solve anything, and her dad would be disappointed to see her do so. Summer vacations at The Skipjack will feel hollow without him, but spending a little bit of quiet time with her memories may minister to her broken heart. The best medicine for her is to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and soak in the healing balm of ocean waters.

Complicated proves to be an understatement. D.D. Lorenzo finds the perfect combination of heartbreaking and sentimental to create a beautifully inspiring romance. Declan and Aria are in need of some TLC. Their story finds it in the form of twists and turns, lessons learned, love found and coming full circle. Thrilling, appealing and healing make for an amazing trip.
Holy crap this was an amazing duet. From the opening pages until the final word I was locked in and could not put this down. Between the beautiful love between Aria and Declan to the tragedy that Carter dealt with to the psych tendencies of Marisol, this duet is a must read. D.D. Lorenzo, stand up and take a bow. This was a masterpiece and I cannot wait to read more.
This starts as a sweet budding romance and you think "good, all will be well with this couple", well don't get to complacent. Aria is trying to come to terms with loss, deep in her grief the beach is both a blessing and a curse. Declan is at a crossroads in his life and his career, he feels the modelling side is becoming a bit old and staid. The beach is his peace, giving him some time to think about what he wants to do and where. A meeting and a spark starts something good. As the story weaves its way along a lot more happens, building up the suspense and the threats. Torment and more grief and angst keep you from getting to comfortable or for the story to get boring. It doesn't end here carrying on into the next book, I definitely enjoyed reading this and I am glad I waited to read it until the next book is almost out, I hate waiting to long to continue a story. An enthralling and emotional read.
OMG, so much pain, angst and heartbreak comes through in this part of Declan and Aria's story. Once in a while you get a brief glimpse of them being happy and you hope all will turn out ok, or at least end up surviving enough to move on with their lives. Their friends and family are awesome in their support of both and each other hoping to help all. The villain in this story is very much that, they don't care about anything or anyone but themselves and what they want, no matter what that takes or who it hurts or destroys. I could understand if maybe love was involved but it isn't, its greed and selfishness. True evil really does exist in this character, who cant see past what they are doing to understand it isn't right. I only put this book down to make lunch, I was so gripped by the story, my heart broke for this couple I had a lump in my throat. DD is an awesome author how she manages to bring out all the emotions the characters go through so you can feel it, all the highs and lows. It feels real and raw, how they deal with the pain is intense. Fantastic read and worth far more than five stars I would happily have given ten.
Both Aria and Declan are at a crossroads. Aria has come back to her family’s beach house to grieve and mourn her father while Declan only finds peace while at the beach. He is a male model who has little shelf life left in that unforgiving profession and wants and needs more out of life. He starts watching her many walks on the sand near his place and is intrigued by her. A storm brings them together, and neither of their lives will be the same.
My goodness, what an emotional ride! This is my first time reading anything from this author, and I am so glad that this duet was put together because the first book certainly ends on a major cliffhanger. Having the two together allowed me to binge-read and continue the story without a pause; oh, my… it would have been hard to wait for book two. Both of the characters have depth, and the author has given them such backstories and difficult current circumstances that they can't help but emotionally resonate with the reader. Their peaceful moment seems so few, and you wish they could just go on, but so much happens to disturb the little universe they have made for themselves. I loved the supportive secondary characters, and what a nasty villain we have here who seems to be truly evil. yes, there are times this book will make you cry at the external circumstances these two sympathetic characters have to face as well as the emotions and conflicts that these cause.
If you like emotionally charged romance with a hero and heroine that you can root for, this duet might be just the book you're looking for.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Aria has lost the most important person in her life when she meets Declan, a male supermodel seeking something deeper from his life. Has he found that deeper meaning with Aria?
Wow, this duet was so not what I was expecting! It has more depth, and the characters are fabulous, especially Aria. I was engaged in their love story right from the very first page down to the last, creepy page in Marisol's epilogue. Speaking of epilogues, it wasn't one that gave me great hope, so I seriously hope the author has plans on expanding the story!
This is a two book set. Book 1 ends on a cliffhanger so you can get right on with the story in one book. This starts out as a normal romance. Gorgeous guy notices beautiful (to him) woman and watches her for a while before they meet. It looks like things will flow smoothly but they DO NOT! There is a villain who starts a chain of destruction. This book ranged from nice and sweet to hot and heavy to heartbreaking. Definitely an emotional read. This was a new to me author but I enjoyed the story and will look for more. This is not a nice and fluffy story. It’s warm and loving and angsty and heart wrenching. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
We now get these two great books in one! These books are fantastic. I felt so many emotions reading this combo. You will definitely need lots of tissues and maybe a strong drink or two. There is anger, hate, an evil villain or villainess (is that a word), hope and love in this book and you will feel every emotion while reading this one.
I enjoyed Declan & Aria's story. Great characters. Was a heartwarming story. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via hidden gems.
