Every woman wants to be a rider for the man she loves, and Tracey was no exception. She was faithful and loyal, and some would even consider her to be loyal to a fault. What she never expected was that after receiving five years in prison for the man she loved, Mason, he would reward her by leaving her to ride them alone, moving on with his life as if she never existed. Now with Tracey finally being a free woman, she is filled with regrets, vowing to never be a fool to love again. There is just one problem with her vow, and his name is, Angelo. Angelo is ruthless and cold-hearted, but the love he has for Tracey overshadows it all. Despite Tracey being skeptical to love again, Angelo is determined to knock down her walls and rekindle the love they once had. He just never expected that both their past would merge itself into the present, interfering in the worse way. While focusing on making all her dreams a reality, Brooklyn has no time for men or the games they play. Therefore, she always leaves her feelings at the door when dealing with them. That was until the night Cream walked into the nightclub she worked at. Brooklyn quickly learns that keeping her feelings under control isn’t as easy with Cream as it has been with other men in the past. She knows falling for a man like Cream is automatically an emotional suicide, and that is why she must pull herself away before it’s too late. Cream is a lady’s man with no intentions to settle down. He knows he is no good for Brooklyn, but he can’t deny how much he is feeling her. When Brooklyn attempts to pull back, Cream is not so willing to just let her. Will Brooklyn be able to keep herself from falling for a man that is bound to break her heart? Riley isn’t only beauty and brains, but she is also engaged to Sebastian Taylor Jr., the state prosecutor. While others see her life as picture perfect, behind close doors it’s far from it. After dealing with the abuse from the one person that promised to always love and protect her for so long, Riley finally convinces herself that enough is enough. Things seem to change when she meets the father of an old student, Ira. As unplanned feelings starts to grow between the two, Ira is hesitant because of the love he still has for the mother of his child, and feels moving on is the ultimate betrayal. Being rejected by Ira and threatened by Sebastian, Riley is beginning to lose all hope in happiness. Will life turn around for her, or will she find herself accepting the cards of misery that life seems to keep dealing her?
I really did enjoy this book and all of the drama that followed everyone. I was really shocked at what Mason revealed. Even though it was some editing issues, it was overall a good book.
I really hope you don't keep us waiting for part 2 lol. Everything seems to he going crazy right now. I knew Naomi was going to be a problem. Tracy needs to tell Angelo about her plan period!!!. I hope Riley's dad go find IRA and tell him what's going on. Omgggg Brooklyn better be ok for real. Cream Angelo and IRA about to set some stuff off. I have a funny feeling its Amira who stalking Brooklyn🤔🤔.
Allie Marie books are like movies. And I love/ hate that!! If I start one of her books, I always have to read it in one sitting. Getting behind on my house chores and stuff🙄🙄 Anyways, I'm making my way through her catalog and so far I'm liking all her books. They're very entertaining. However none of her male characters have made my book boyfriend list🤣. Some of the things her male characters don't redeem themselves in my eyes or I don't fall for them like some of these idiot women do in the books.
The male characters in this book didn't do anything crazy in this book though. I just didn't fall for them. They were blah. Well except Angelo. I liked him and how he didn't play any games once Tracey got out of prison. He was ready for her. Cream annoyed me at first but once he accepted the fact that he was feeling Brooklyn, he started to act right.
The drama mostly came from the side characters Mason, Sebastian, Desi, Jodi, etc. And they all met their untimely demise one way or another.
Other than some grammatical errors and some things conflicting with other things that took place in the book, it was a good read. I looked passed these flaws since they didn't affect the book that much. All in all, a good read.
Pretty good book. Would have been 4 stars if not for the errors. There were quite a lot of them, and unfortunately that is a turn off for me. It can be detracting from the story. Otherwise I did enjoy the book. I knew Naomi want going to leave well enough alone, can't wait to see how Angelo handles that one. And Brooklyn??? Hope she's safe and I think I have an idea about who is messing with her lol. Now Sebastian is on some other stuff to bring Riley to the house with isabella, don't think that's gonna end well either. Can't wait for part 2
Awesome writing that can Angelo waS a mess I don't like commenting on the characters because I don't like to spoil anything for the other readers Mason lived to long but I like how he thought he was home free to have the couple he didn't want to see to gather in his top Tracy had it the hardest but she came out on top you came up with some great drama with these couple's that made the story so amazing I hope all the other readers enjoy this book just as much as I did
I guess you can call this a DNF. Riley was overly stupid and weak and Ira was going out sad to protect her. I couldn’t stand Riley. The back and forth got so annoying with Riley. I skipped to the epilogue. I really wanted Angelo and Tracey to have their own story because I did not want to read about Sebastian and Riley. I guess I will miss out on their story. 400 plus pages and Riley was very exhausting. Ira clearly had pull and she just kept going back to the guy who put her out the card in the hood ass naked.
Man it’s so much going on throughout the whole book from beginning to end that I can’t wait for part 2. I want to see Tracey win after she made the ultimate sacrifice for a no good ninja. Angelo seems to be for her but will her insecurities and his past stop them from moving forward. Riley and Ira seem heaven sent but her mother and Sebastian both have her trapped. Brooklyn... I shed a tear for Blue but I’d really feel bad if Brooklyn doesn’t survive.
You could not enjoy the book because it had so many grammatical errors, there is no way this book was edited. There was an error in damn near every sentence. The story was bit far fetched and not realistic, I understand it’s a fictional novel but this was just ridiculous. Author also did too much guiding through out the book instead of letting the reader pur two and two together. Don’t think I will continue to read from this author.
This was such a worthy ending to what was such a really good follow-up to a well thought out story. The writer brings us right back to the action and doesn't let up off the gas. I loved the couple's finally get there happy ending and some much needed get back. The writer deals with some very heavy subjects and handles them with such class and a victory for our characters. If you want the 411 on how the ladies of GMM got there man take a look.
This book was just as good as the Black brothers seems like everybody still out for part of them now it's more of the GMM crew this book is about to get real ruthless with what all has happened Naomi is so better she just put her job on the line over a man I need Part 2
Great way to end the series. All the girls got a well deserved happy ending. Mason was truly a messed up individual and got exactly what he deserved. Even though Desi was changing I didn't feel bad for her, she could have helped Peanut or at least warn him about Mason. Good job.
It’s a shame when you’ll have your daughter sell her soul to the devil just to save your own neck. The sacrifices people are willing to make for love when the persons your scheming for don’t want you.
This started off on a good note and finished on an even better note!!!! I can't wait for the next part. This was great. I loved all the characters in this book!!! Hurry with the next
This is a well written story that has a steady flow. The characters are interesting, likeable and dealing with so much drama. I can't wait for all the secrets to come out. I need part two ASAP.
Job well done I loved the storyline lo is my new book bae.. Cream and Brooklyn is funny as hell them blacks aint to be played with. From begaining to end I enjoyed my ex boyfriend can be my next boyfriend 😂😂😂😂
Allie is very creative and an excellent story teller. More time should be taken to proof extensively before publishing, way too many grammatical errors but loved the book! Destined for greatness!
Good book, great ending. Tracey done went crazy with killing. I had a feeling Angelo was going away to meet up with Mason grimy behind. Glad he didn’t shoot first & ask questions later cuz poor Tracey would’ve been dead. These grammatical errors get me though.
THIS BOOK WAS SO DAMN GOOD!!! I LOST SLEEP BECAUAE I HAD TO FINISH IT LOL!!! TRACEY AND ANGELO'S LOVE IS THE REAL DEAL!!! RILEY AND IRA WAS STEAMY!!! CREAM AND BROOKLYN ARE SO REAL FREAKS AND I LOVE IT!!!! ALLIE YOU DID IT AGAIN!!!!
I truly enjoyed this book!!!...I waited to see exactly how they would find out Mason killed Sean and how his evil rail would die!!!...I'm glad Tracey bear able to get some justice and happiness!!!... Riley was definitely due some justice because Sebastian was NUTZ!!!...
This was such a great read I hope it doesn't take forever for part 2 cause I am waiting and ready to see what happens next I know it's going to be another great read😊
Nice read. Several typos, but it didn't take away from the story. Karma is a bitch and several characters are going to feel her sting! I'm ready for part 2.
