December 8, 2021I didn't realize when I purchased this book that it was a cliffhanger....WTH is book 2? Initially, this story although it was short was all over the place....But, as soon as I finally began understanding and the story started really getting good it ends. I've been searching for book 2 to no avail....I can't rate this without a complete story.

REALLY GOOD
Very well written story I really enjoyed and the character development is great. Cori and Hendrix are both dealing with their own issues from the past. Years later they are once again in each other's presence but the reunion isn't a happy one. Given their history will Cori and Hendrix be able to coexist since they have mutual friends or will they allow their past to stop them from possibly exploring something new with each other. Can't wait to see what's to come for Cori and Hendrix in book two.

Between Friends
I was a little hesitant to read this book... but all of that changed when I started the first chapter. It has a good storyline and was very well written, which is a problem I encounter more times than I would like. I love how the story came together, and how the characters developed throughout the chapters. The only thing wrong with it was it was way too short for my liking. This is a great read, and I am definitely waiting on the next installment.

An unexpected encounter with a person from the past emergences at Stacia and Johnathan cookout, Cori's memories of that night flashes before her. That chance encounter brings her to Hendrix's place of business again but this time.....

Great read
This was a wonderful story. The story line flowed smoothly from beginning to end. The characters are lovable makes you want more. This is a great weekend read.

Past meets Present
Some times those in your past meet back up in your present. You never know when your paths will meet. This live story was very entertaining. Looking forward to book 2. We need to know what happens between Hendrix and Butta. Will they become friends?

Okay sooo I need Butta to slow down frfr and get her life together.
I need Hendrix to let go of whatever past he had and focus on what I think is his future, but until book 2 comes out I can't say for certain what that maybe

Confused
I thought it was a full story. Overall the storyline was good but it didn't give me time to formulate the characters book 1 just abruptly ended I'll try to read book 2 to see if this went any better.

Nice read. This short story was refreshing read. I like how it kept me wanting to know more. I can't wait to see what Butts and Henny has in store for us.
