I love a good mafia story and Enzo and Madelyn's story was most definitely one! Suspenseful, gritty with a mix of sexual tension! Loved it!

Whoa whoa who thought of this suspense had me on my stomach, on my side and almost in gut wrenching tears. The plot and story line was stitched together effortless. Thanks again.

Wow!!! What another great story by Nicole Fox!!
Enzo is a younger mob boss, but a very dark one. Once he gets arrested, he finds he needs to get out of this and stay free. But when he meets with his attorney, he is surprised that the "fat cats" are not on this case, this time. But can he concentrate with his new attorney...her look, her intelligence, her intoxicating smell?
Madelyn receives word from the head attorneys that she is receiving a shot at a big case that could make or break her career at the firm. She must win this case for several reasons, but can she? Can she work with a mob boss and still come out smelling like roses?
This a great read about opposites attracting and Enzo making an offer Madelyn can't refuse!! Their chemistry is off the charts, but can Enzo keep her safe? I voluntarily received an ARC from the author.

This book was pretty bad. Typos go with the territory in some books but these were awful. It was hard to figure out who the author was talking about 1/2 the time. The he/she, his/her mistakes were ridiculous. What was the point of introducing Madelyn’s family once and never reading about them again? Unsafe sex? Really? Between a lawyer and a mob boss no less?! Yuck. Because Enzo was sexy, an up and coming lawyer decided to possibly throw away her future and break the law, including but not limited to committing perjury? Completely unbelievable. Insta-love, marriage and babies, when a few pages prior Enzo was debating on killing Madelyn? Not likely. All in all, this was a pretty terrible book and complete waste of time. Do not recommend.

I wanted to read a Mafia book, because really it is not a genre I normally read. I loved the beginning, it seemed like the story was heading in the right direction, but then it just became too rapid. Okay, I didn't feel like E and M connected. I mean yeah they dated and he saved her but the author made it out that he was using her. So when the end came about the way that it did, I was like really...we didn't get to see any regret on Enzo's part at all about how he was hook, line, sinking her to keep her on his side. That really should have been resolved. Also, what Enzo did to the other mob boss, well no wonder things went down the way that they did, but it's the other guys fault cause he is a creep. You made people disappear and threatened them, how are you not? Loose ends and no connection.

This was a really good Mafia romance. Enzo, head of the Marino family is in trouble. He's set to go to trial for murder. When the partners assign Madelyn to Enzo's case, she feels this is a huge opportunity to show that she has what it takes to make junior partner. She gives this case her all, but when she sets eyes on Enzo, there's an immediate attraction between them both. Madelyn is determined to keep their relationship strictly professional, but Enzo has other ideas.
Enzo is attracted to Madelyn, but he sees it as an opportunity to seduce her, and move on after the trial. But as the case gets complicated, so does Enzo's feelings toward Madelyn. This was an action-packed, hot as hell, love story. I'm really enjoying Nicole Fox's Mafia books.

A strong woman
Madelyn was handed a case that could make it break her legal career. It was a very difficult case a murder case and the.head attorneys knew she could do it. She took the case and hoped when this was over she would get a promotion. What she hadn't figured on was finding love. She learned so much researching this case and she had never worked so hard. But all worked.out as it should

What a wonderful rollercoaster of emotions you evoked in me! I greatly enjoyed this book from beginning to the end . This is my first book by this author. The characters were well developed and I was unable to put this book down. Thank you for all you do for your readers.

He realizes behind her good looks she's also a great lawyer. Will she be able to overlook some of his shady businesses to represent him? Read to find out.

Enzo...
Marino Crime Family. Ok so this was a mafia book. The story not unheard of. Decent characters but not enough depth. It was predictable at times. Dragged a bit on the other. That being said the action part was freaking good. And the sex was hot and oh so tingle worthy. The book was extremely angsty.

Nicole Fox’s books’ synopses always hit me right. They’re right up my alley. This synopsis did too... but the execution did not pan out.
I always prefer first person over third person. First person books hit me harder and feel more personal to me, and I seem to like them more in general.
Enzo was totally manipulating that chick. Stop tryna excuse yourself, Enzo. Manipulation 100.

Enzo is a dark mafia boss, and Madelyn is a lawyer who is assigned to his case by her firm. This is a well written story which is steamy and action packer, which all had me intrigued and hooked throughout, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I recommend for all.

This was such a great book that I couldn't put it down once I started it. Lots of sexy, electricity, action, twists and turns. This is one of the best books Nicole has written!!

Good story.
I enjoyed this story but was slow in places. Hurried some pages, enjoyed other parts of the book. Story ended a little to fast for me would have enjoyed an epilogue given few years later. .

I looked the characters, but...
I couldn't really get behind this story. I kept waiting for the story line to match up and make sense.

Disappointed!
This book was very stale and boring. Felt like a formula mob story. The heroine and the hero were both jokes. Not worth reading.

Interesting change for a storyline. I enjoyed reading this book. It has everything a person would like to read. It has excitement and chemistry!
