The city of sin turns into a city of fear when someone begins targeting the prostitutes in Amsterdam’s Red Light District. After one hundred and thirty years, Jack the Ripper has returned to punish the ill repute, but he’s not discriminating between the escorts and the voyeurs this time.
Detective Elle Metz and her new partner, Adrian Kraal, must find the motive if they are to find the man. When the truth takes them to a past case, they discover that the killer is closer to home than they thought.
In the dark of night, they had better know how to scream and how to run.

I'm an erotic romance author. I write in these erotic subgenres: ménage, BDSM, mafia, paranormal/rocker, MC, and thrillers. I also have two steamy paranormal romances out for those who like less graphic content.

I’ve been an avid reader since childhood. My love for writing began with poetry when I was 12.

In this book the author takes is on a journey to the red-light district if Amsterdam, that and the cover grabbed my attention. Having never been to Amsterdam what better way to visit than sitting wrapped up on the sofa with a boiling hot cup of hot chocolate in the safety of my own home! This is an excellent murder mystery that is a definite attention grabber from the first page. It’s a dark story that also includes some explicit romance scenes. The author has expertly drawn the suspense out throughout the entire novel, it’s an enjoyable read, so go grab your copy, it’s fairly short so won’t take you long to read it but you won’t regret the hour or two that you donate to reading it!

This book is quite honestly one of the most gripping books I've read in a while. The tenseness in certain scenes (no spoilers!!) cannot be described aptly enough. I can't believe that I haven't read anything from this author before now. I highly recommend picking this one up, I assure you, you won't regret it.

The author brings the Red Light District of Amsterdam to life in this fast paced, dark, erotic tale. Her characterizations are spot-on as is her ability to raise the heat in one of the most heated love scenes I have read in a while. The only reason I didn't award this tale five stars is that it should have been longer. But, then again, that just makes you want to read her next one... Good job, Anjalee!

This is a great twist on the old story of Jack the Ripper. It’s well written and the character development is great.
