Psychologist Dr. Zoe Broussard has always been a no-nonsense, play by the rules woman until she meets her new client. From the moment the impossibly gorgeous Michael Carson walks into her office, she finds herself dangerously drawn to him and irrevocably hooked.
Michael is an NFL quarterback with a multimillion dollar contract and a penchant for breaking hearts. He’s used to getting what he wants, and he’s determined to tempt his hot new therapist into exploring the obvious passion between them. Even though there’s another man in her life. Can Zoe resist Michael’s charms and her growing feelings for him? More importantly, is she willing to risk everything for a man who may not be there tomorrow?
I want my readers to escape their realities and embark on a journey of self-exploration and love when they delve into my books. I have loved reading fiction, thrillers, and romance for years. Although my original (and still) writing interest was YA and self-help books, I received a surprise text one Valentine's Day, and wrote the very first chapter of a romance novel that day. And I became forever inspired to write contemporary and new adult romance - with a twist.

I finally made my way back to this trilogy after reading every new release in Tiye's catalog to date, beyond this series! And book one already has me in my feelings. Between Zoe's indecision and Michael's own selfishness, the emotional tug of war in this story was off the charts! I'm bracing myself for what is still yet to come in part two and three of this story. I already know it's not gonna get any easier for these two from here 😩. Definitely a good read though!
Loved the sport related romance novel. I plan to read the other two books in this trilogy very soon. I would love to see what characters the author takes from book one to continue on the story. I hope that the author Tiye keeps up the same energy he put in this book into the next one.
4.5 ⭐️ We met Michael Carson in One Night Pass. He’s got a new team, new city and a new woman in his sights. Zoe talked a good game for about 5 minutes but she couldn’t stand on it. She folded early and often. I get it girl! Like Zoe, I’m not proud of it but Michael would’ve had me too. 🤦🏽♀️
We were introduced to Michael in a previous novella. I was actually looking forward to this book where he’s in a serious relationship. I was willing to deal with the cheating. I was willing to give Zoe the benefit of the doubt. But for a smart woman she’s dumb as hell. Didn’t know dimples and tired lines can render someone so dumb. Zoe wants to protect her job and not cross the line with a patient but it doesn’t take her long to do exactly that. While hiding the fact that she has a boyfriend. I never believed the “guilt “ she felt over being attracted to Michael. And then she’s running her mouth to more than one friend about what she did. Like….might want to keep that on the hush.
For there to be this powerful attraction between Michael and Zoe the author sure did a piss poor job of portraying that. I didn’t believe it. The sex scenes were quick and uninspired. They had sex without protection and it was all “oh well my bad”.
A huge disappointment after reading the previous novella.
Michael and Zoe’s attraction is hot and fierce from the first moment they meet in Zoe’s office. They can’t stop the attraction nor keep their hands off each other. The secrets and their professions becomes a problem which they have to work out. The story is well written and emotional. Looking forward to the next book to see their journey. Kudos to Tiye Love on another great story.
Zoe Broussard a Psychologist for NFL players has always maintained her professionalism when hit on by the players, but there is just something about the self confident Michael Carson that makes her want to just throw caution to the wind and see what he is all about, but the question is it worth losing everything she loves?
Endgame was A very good book, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chemistry between Zoe and Michael was incredible, I was glad that storyline was not predictable as far as Athletes go. I predicted Michael to be one way and he turned out to be totally different. This book had me from the beginning until the end and had me wanting more. I cannot wait for the next books in this trilogy.
Being a psychologist, this storyline caught my eye immediately. I have never been in a position like Zoe but I empathize with her situation because love often doesn’t make sense. Michael was a genuinely good soul and as she got to know him, she couldn’t fight it any longer. The settling she was doing with Xavier was frustrating. I kept wanting to slap her and tell her to wake up. Being alone is better than being with someone you really have no deep connection to. I’m curious to see how her life changes based on the choice she made. My first time reading this author and it won’t be my last.
Loved this novel. Michael and Zoe had chemistry from the first time they met and it never stopped. They both were trying to overcome their issues, his was his past, her was her boyfriend/fiance which she realize that she only loved as a friend. Towards the end they realized they truly loved each other and the sex scenes were just enough. Worth the read. Can't wait to start the next book in the trilogy.
My fault for thinking this one was going to be as good as the prequel. First of all, we are expected to believe this educated women loses all her common sense and is willing to risk her professional status, license, reputation, and man for someone she’s only interacted with for few weeks! Come on! Don’t even get me started on her stupid reasons for holding on to Taylor 🤦🏽♀️ This chick was acting brand new off the D, willing to give it all up.
Endgame is a good book. However, I must admit that Zoe’s character was all over the place and very indecisive. Michael was very patient with her and poor Xavier was just clueless. Overall, I liked the paces of the book. I think an epilogue would have been nice. I kind of feel like we were left hanging.
I love how Dr. Zoe Broussard kept leaving assignments for Michael. She tried to stay professional but he was too doggone HOT and the chemistry was undeniable. And she did make it right w/Xavier so it wouldn't ruin a good Man. She started off selfish but then she made it right which made her deserving of he true love Michael.
I will give this Seven Stars if I could. I absolutely love this book from the very beginning to the very end love the pace of it love characters. This is the story of Michael and Zoe their role to love and what it took for them to come out on the other end really a good book starting on part two.
Well this was fraught with tension, & I looooooooved❣️ Michael & Zoe got a buuuuuunch of ish going on it is nail biting good 🙂. I can’t say enough about the angst I’m this book and how well done it is. I felt like I was at a tennis match watching the longest set ever and it was 🔥.
I’m here to tell you this story is worth ALL your time 🙂.
The premise for the story was a sports romance with a counseling component. I liked the feel of the story. An NFL quarterback falls for his counselor. A goodread.
I'm so glad that Zoe and Michael got together in the end. Xavier was like a close friend than a lover and fiance. I'm glad that Lydia and Zoe got along good. Taylor was left looking so stupid and that's what she gets for trying to make a man be with her.
I was fan of her work when she was on Wattpad and reading this now felt like when I first read the book. The ending is everything. The chemistry between Zoe & Michael is everything! Definitely one of my favorite couples.
Their relationship was a rollercoaster ride. Dr. Zoe Broussard was in a quandry. She already had a man in her life when her new patient Michael Carson made his declaration to have her. She fought the attraction until she couldn't anymore. She risked her career and fiance to be with the Father's new quarterback. she had her fiance Xavier who wanted her to drop her career to follow him. She has Michael telling her to risk it all with him. She finally understood that Michael coming into her life was to show her that she and Xavier did not have that spark like she and Michael. She did love Xavier but only as, a good friend. Michael blamed her for having his head so messed up that he could not think straight while playing a football game. When he distance himself for his own sanity, it broke her heart. But she finally managed to get her life together and continue to focus on her dream career and that was being the best psychologist she could be.
She had an excellent support system between her mother and her partner Paula and friend Shantel and including an unexpected supporter as well. Michael finally understood the he was asking her to give up everything to take a risk to be with him. It wasn't that she was rejecting him, it was like her asking him to give up his dream of football. They were determined to NFL find a a way to make it work because she meant so much more than a sex game to him.
Thanks to the author who shared this book in a FB group I frequent. Read the three book synopses and knew this series was right up my alley. Endgame is my first Tiye Love read and I'm just tickled that it's a series. My normal route with a new-to-me author would be to just purchase the first book. If I enjoy the writers storytelling and writing style, then I would purchase the next book in the series. But with this Endgame Trilogy, I didn't even bother wasting any time. Bought all three books and commenced to reading Zoe and Michael's story. And being a huge football fan just made this purchase even better. Just the whole thing of Michael being a quarterback and switching teams. I loved Zoe's occupation and how these two were brought together. After Zoe and Michael meet, I was delighted and relieved when Zoe's partner Paula was supportive. Now, I don't know if Paula will remain supportive because there's two more books and who knows what secrets have yet to be revealed. But for right now, that made me extremely happy. I don't like writing spoilers in my reviews, so I won't start now and stop right here. Book #2, Game Time, up next.
I received this book from Bookfunnel. I enjoyed it so much that I bought the other books in the series. Additionally, I realized that I had previously bought at least one other book by Tiye Love but hadn't read it. I immediately read it and Tiye Love is now one of my favorite authors. The books I've read are African-American, erotic love stories. Thought the books are erotic, they have full plots and very developed characters.
Endgame is the love story of Psychologist Dr. Zoe Broussard and Michael Carson, an NFL quarterback. She's his therapist and any personal relationship with him is unethical and would put her job in jeopardy.
He's gorgeous, wants the doctor and he's used to getting any woman he wanted, but has never been in love. Is love what he's feeling for the doctor?
Zoe doesn't play games with her career, plus she has a man in her life. Michael is charming and she's increasingly attracted to him. However, she keeps asking herself "Is she willing to risk her career and is love worth it."
Whew the back and forth between these characters wore me out. Zoe was a psychologist and loved her job. She had the honor of helping people, often high profile athletes navigate life. Her life was pretty stable, she had a good man that loved her and her career was thriving. Michael was living out his dream. He was handsome, charming and at the top of his career. His new team required psychological visits and he didn't realize he would grow attached to his psychologist Zoe. She was everything and pushed him to be better, while igniting a fire under him sexually. The passion they shared seem to override logical thinking. I'll admit Zoe got on my nerves a bit. She was in this mediocre relationship and was scared to take a risk on real love. She claimed she wanted their relationship to be a secret, but she kept telling people and I was over it. Overall I enjoyed the characters and will definitely read the next book.
I just could not get into this at all. Zoe had zero sense, Michael was ridiculously arrogant and disrespectful of her wishes and feelings (though she allowed it), and Xavier...no comment. Zoe was acting straight-up foolish (to put it nicely) over this man from the beginning, they kept having essentially the same conversation over and over, and really, I didn't even want her to end up with anyone. It would've been nice to have at least one character that at least tried to talk some sense into her; Paula kinda did but not really. I just didn't buy the connection or "love" between Zoe and Michael or the supposed guilt or conflict she felt over what she was doing to Xavier. The characters just weren't that well-developed, in my opinion, and fell flat. I started skimming eventually just to be done.
Hmmm 🤔! Storylines pertaining to any type of abuse (people or animals), personal/professional ethics and or infidelity is a challenge to endure. Meanwhile, “Endgame (The Endgame Trilogy - Book 2)” was a good read. However, I’m angry, frustrated, disappointed and equally saddened by the emotional torture I’ve experienced. Both Michael & Zoe annoyed the heck out of me. …lies, manipulation, hypocrisies, recklessness etc. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster 🎢 ‼️I enjoyed thrillers, romance and or dramatic genres, but this series has tested my resolve.
I loved this story and I thought Zoe’s perspective was so well presented. Sometimes the angst in a storyline like this comes across as whiny but I thought Zoe was self aware of her BS in trying to have her cake and eat it too and I also got her legit concerns about going all in with Michael. This was a great story!
