Book 1:
Archer Vancourt doesn’t believe in anything anymore—not Pack, not family, and certainly not love. He’s not even sure why he listens to a plea to return and help the Pack that threw him out. At home, he finds everything in shambles, his father dying, and the woman he once rejected under the thumb of a monster. Joanna doesn’t deserve this. She was never the reason he left, and now, seeing her full beauty and strength, Archer starts to believe she’s the one for him after all. He has to fix things for her—if she’ll let him.
Book 2:
Gage Vancourt is tired of not belonging. When the Pack kicked him out, he had his brothers, but Cohen left, and now Archer has a new mate. There’s nothing for him at home. Gage is considering returning to Illinois when he finds a newly-changed shifter. Kaylee is stuck in her coyote-shape. Gage takes her home, feeds her, and coaches her through her next few shifts. But just as Gage is starting to feel he belongs, the shifter who changed Kaylee comes around to claim her. Gage will do anything to make her safe, but will it be enough?
Book 3:
Cohen's animal is cursed. A darkness lingers in his eyes - the telltale signs that a monster lurks within. He moved away from his pack to protect them. To protect his brothers, and more importantly, to protect Ashe. But now he’s back, facing down forces even uglier than himself. He must protect Ashe and the others from those forces. But can he also protect them from himself?
Book 4:
A Virginia mountain town. That’s where the roads have taken him. Although Stonefall is safe now, Jax’s failures still haunt him. He can’t see a place for himself among the Vancourts. No pack needs a shifter who can’t protect his Alpha. So, he hits the road, looking to outrun his ghosts, and bumps smack dab into Sydney, a local cop investigating crimes that are inhuman in more ways than one. He’s afraid he’ll fail her, too, and add another ghost to the ones haunting him. But he can’t leave her to fend for herself.
Book 5:
Rhylan isn't used to this life. The heightened senses and problems that come with them are almost too much. He has a million questions that need to be answered, but his brand-new Pack-mates are too caught up in each other to answer them. Then he meets her. Another shifter. A sexy maid at the hotel where he’s staying. His wolf thinks Thalia is the answer to all their questions, and he’s beginning to think the beast is right. If only she weren’t too distracted by her own mission to help him.
Book 6:
Javier is a giant wolf-shifter, big as a smart-car, strong as the mountains he loves, and sensitive enough to protect everyone he cares about, especially his little sister, Thalia. Or at least that’s who he was until an enchantress ripped out his soul and tinkered with it, trying to turn him into a tool for her own evil purposes. Though no longer physically the woman’s captive, Javier is a shell of his former self, so numb to the world that he’s only vaguely aware of what he’s missing. He’s at least aware enough to distrust the woman fate has tied him to—Nora, the enchantress’s daughter.

I read and reviewed each of these separately as an advanced reader for Emilia. My reviews are always voluntary. I gave them 4 and 5 stars as I went. As a whole with them all together, I give them 5 stars.
Outcast Bears: Archer Great story about a grizzly bear shifter, his two brothers, and a jilted fiancé. Archer receives a strange phone call that draws him back to his childhood home where things are not as he remembers them. There is a new shifter in town who is making a power play. Unfortunately, he is using Archer's ex-fiancè as leverage and that isn't going to do. Perhaps he was a little hasty when he left her to find his way in the human world, but is it too late to change his mind?
Gage I loved this second book in the series. I don't think you have to read the first one to enjoy this one, though it will introduce most of the players.
Kaylee is just minding her own business when some kind of monster bites her. She wants up in an alley with paws that she can't operate and a gnawing hunger. The man who finds her seems nice enough, but this acid trip really needs to end.
Gage figures he has found the poor human girl who was bitten by a coyote shifter that his brother told him about. She was little and kinda cute and obviously had no idea what had happened to her. He scooped her up and took her home and put her to bed in the hopes she would turn back and he could talk to her. Unfortunately, one look and he was having a hard time making coherent sentences, and she was buying what he was selling anyway.
I loved the interaction between Gage and Kaylee. Neither one was sure they wanted a relationship and both have been around by their pasts. Throw in a crazy coyote who wants his creation back and a couple of packs of shifters and what could go wrong?
Cohen Cohen gets his story. When he came back to town to help his brother he had no intention of staying. His bear was not fit for polite company, or impolite company for that matter. He was definitely not fit for Ashe, she had been hurt too badly by her father and others in the pack. Besides, she was part witch and he couldn't trust her any more than he could his bear.
Ashe has always had a thing for Cohen and now the cards were trying to tell her they were supposed to be together. She knows that can't be true. She was a witch - shifter hybrid, but what kind of shifter was unknown since she had never shifted. Her father had done everything he could to force her to shift, but nothing had worked. She knew that Cohen's bear was a monster, but she also knew that she calmed it. The way he calmed her.
Give it up for Cohen and Ashe. I wonder who is next?
Lost Wolves: Jax Although this book is a spin off from a previous series, it stands alone.
Jax has left his pack and his town and headed south in the hopes of getting his head together and redeeming himself. He decides to stop at an inn outside a small Virginia town for the night. Little does he know how much his life will change because of that decision.
Sydney is a detective on a small town police force. She has been given an important missing persons case and things are not going well. Three people have disappeared, one of them the mayor's girlfriend, and all the clues have led to dead ends. If she does not solve this case her job is in jeopardy. Sydney decides to re-visit a lodge where one of the missing people had worked, in the hopes of getting a look at their guest register and finding a clue. She finds much more than a clue while investigating at the lodge. She finds Jax and a whole world of things she can't quite believe.
I will not ruin the book for you. It ends on sort of a cliffhanger in the sense that the mystery is not totally solved and the characters have just begun their stories.
Rhylan The second book of this series continues the story of the newly-formed pack of shifters that started in Jax. Rhylan's wolf is drawn to a hotel maid, Thalia. As Rhylan and his wolf are still fighting for control, he manages to royally bollix up his attempt to get her to meet and talk with him. A well-placed kick points out the error of his ways, but he is then forced to blackmail her into going out for a drink. This does not bode good things for the whole mate thing.
Thalia is working as a hotel maid while she looks for her brother. His disappearance has caused their Alpha father to wash his hands of his son, and Thalia is the only one trying to find out what happened to him. She is running out of time since her father will soon force her to come home and marry the wolf chosen for her. She definitely doesn't have time for the Casanova who is trying to chat her up and she makes her displeasure known, ouch. When he threatens to report her to her supervisor, she relents and agrees to meet him for a drink. She can't believe it when he tells her he might know where her brother is being kept.
Find out what happens when a feisty she-wolf meets her mate and promptly tries to get them both killed, or at least captured by really bad people. She is going to get her brother back one way or another. Rhylan is determined that his mate is not going to get hurt, whether she likes it or not. Fortunately his new packmates are willing to provide an assist, will it be enough to free Thalia's brother or will they all end up caged with him?
Javier This book starts right where the previous book, Rhylan, left off. The pack has rescued Javier, but the witch, Cordelia, has kept his soul. The witch is Nora's mother, but Javier is Nora's mate and she sacrifices her own magic to try and retrieve his soul. Though their sexual relationship is good, Nora feels unworthy and Javier doesn't trust her. Without a soul he is in danger of turning feral and hurting someone. He is also still being hunted by Cordelia and her family. The small shifter pack has no Alpha and he is in no shape to assume the role.
Find out what happens to Nora, Javier, and the pack as they try to beat the witch and her minions once and for all.
Archer--So much time wasted for rebellion. Archer and his brothers left their pack in NY when his father made an arranged marriage to Joanna,a lynx shifter from a nearby pack. Right Tess later all three brothers are called home by a mysterious caller. When Archer decides to return home, he goes alone and once there gets introduced to the major catastrophe that has developed. From here on to the end of the story, Archer learns done major lessons. Fantastic story and great characters!!
Gage--A beautiful love story with lots of angst! Gage is Archer;s brother and another misfit. Just after the fight to take back Archer;s mate;s pack, Gage finds a coyote pup in an alley. This is Kaylee, a human woman who got caught up in the insanity in the grocery store. She was only visiting in the town when she walked into the store to get bitten by a coyote shifter, although she didn;t know then what he was. Gage thinks she is the cutest little mutt he;s seen and picks up her and cradles her in his arms. She is not amused even though he makes her feel safe. For the day she;s with him as a coyote, she still feels and thinks that she;s been given a drug to make her hallucinate. There is something there between the two although Gage fights it. He decides to keep her around to help her transition to shifter life. And that is where this story gets extremely interesting! Fantastic sequel to Archer and continues the story line about the bears.
Cohen--OMG! This final story of the Vancourt brothers is explosive! Cohen is the oldest brother but the most volatile and he feels he needs to stay away from family and pack to keep them safe from his bear. But he returns home when called to find his father ill and his two younger brothers returned also. There he sees Ashe, the pack witch, once more and feels unsettled with how he views her. His bear wants to do unspeakable things to her although Ashe wouldn;t mind.lol Then his father dies and now the position of Alpha is open. Killian makes a return to the pack at this opening. When he oogles Ashe, Cohen;s bear reacts quite strongly. So Cohen has to figure out why but he still feels like he should just leave. Ashe;s job is to get him to realize what he needs and that isn;t being alone. As Cohen and Ashe strive to find their way around what;s happening between them, a danger no one suspected is slowly coming toward the pack.
Jax--Heart stopping action with a heap of love thrown in! Jax is on his bike heading anywhere he can. But he feels the draw to Virginia. He finds a place called Sunrise Peak Lodge to stay at. Sydney is a local cop/detective given the job of finding three missing people. She notices Jax while trying to get info from the Lodge;s clerk. She also notices that he leaves after seeing her badge and mistakenly thinks he might be a suspect in the disappearances. Jax has ghosts haunting him which is why he;s traveling, he;s trying to outrun them. He left fast cause his wolf wanted out. In going to question him she hears a scream and runs and sees one of the missing people at the bottom of the hill. Getting down as best she can she catches the woman turning into a fox. Welcome tot he world of shifters! From this point on Sydney;s life changes drastically! Spellbinding book and story!!
Rhylan--Oh my! This second book in this series is just as fantastic as the first. This time it;s Rhylan. He;s a doctor who was turned when helping a shifter in his ER. He is trying to understand what;s happened to him and how to live with this new life when he meets Thalia. She;s a female wolf shifter looking for her brother. When the two finally talk, after a little blackmail on Rhylan;s part, she discovers her brother is in this town but being held captive by a local family who are using the shifters as batteries....Unfortunately there are a few things going on also and that makes life extremely interesting for all concerned!! Fantastic story and read!!
Javier--This book in the series is just as heart stopping fantastic! Javier is a wolf without a soul which had been stolen by his unexpected mate;s mother, Cordelia. His little mate is a witch named Nora. She is bound and determined to get Javier;s soul back. In this hope she makes an offer to her mother, her magic for Javier;s soul. Unfortunately it backfires and one incident after another happens that not only draws Nora and Javier together but pushes them apart also. This story will draw you into and keep you riveted till he last page! Fantastic story!!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Archer: Years ago, Archer left his home pack, determined to get out of his arranged marriage. When the man she loved, left her at the alter, Joanna was left to question what she did wrong. One call brings him home. Will Archer be willing to open up his heart to see what is in front of him? Will Joanna be able to rescue her pack before it is to late?
Loved these two. I was happy that both characters recognized what led them to the path they were on. Archer surprised me when he in the end decided to take a chance. I loved Joanna steal and determination to do what it took. Great read!
Gage: Gage knows the facts of life are that everyone leaves and he covers it by playing pranks and being sarcastic. Kaylee owned a tattoo parlor till she was back-doored by her partner. Kaylee thinks that she must be on some powerful drugs after an encounter that left her bitten inside a store. Will Kaylee accept the coyote within her? Will Gage finally find love and people who won't leave?
Loved Gage's personality. I didn't blame him for being tough as nails, but I loved his joking side and how gentle he was with her. Couldn't blame Kaylee for not believing something she had never seen, but was proud when she made the decision to stop running from her problems. Cannot wait for Cohen's book!
Cohen: Ashe was always the outcast because she was a shiftless witch in a pack of shifters. Cohen has always struggled with a bear that was out of control. Years ago they bonded, but he left. Will Ashe be able to find her true self? Will Cohen be able to find where he belongs?
Was so excited to get these two and it didn't dissapoint. Loved the fact that while Cohen is supposedly this big, strong leader, he has massive amount of insecurities. Loved how despite being treated bad, Ashe still had a heart and was willing to help others. These two were two broken pieces that fit perfectly!
Jax: In order to escape his ghosts, Jax leaves his pack and travels the coast. Sydney struggles with being a female in an all male police department. Looking for missing shifters brings them together. Will Jax allow Sydney to help him heal? Will Sydney be able to accept all the changes happening?
Loved how Jax and Sydney had similar ghosts. I personally thought that Sydney was kick a** and handled everything wonderfully. I loved Jax's determination to help and how protective he was. Great read!
Rhylan: After being turned, Rhylan is struggling to make his two sides work together. Thalia has been searching for her brother, determined that something happened to him. Will Rhylan learn to work with his wolf? Will Thalia find her brother?
I loved how determined both characters were. There were times that I definitely thought that Thalia was being extremely stubborn, but her loyalty knew no bonds. Loved how Rhylan still wanted to help others despite the predicament he was in. Great read and cannot wait for more from Emilia Hartley!
Javier: After being trapped by the witch for years, Javier struggles with not having his soul. After being lied to for years, Nora struggles with trying to make things right. Fate brought them together, but others say it is wrong. Will Javier be able to find what he is missing? Will Nora finally be able to break free of her evil family?
LOVED Javier and Nora. I loved that despite not having a soul and struggling, Javier showed he cared time and again. I loved the fact that once Nora decided to help, she was willing to sacrifice herself to help the others. Great read!

Superb box set of shifter stories with twists galore. It is great to see these wonderful stories here in one collection. I highly recommend that you take a chance and read them, you won’t regret it. Archer: Enjoyable, intriguing and witty story. Archer & Joanna must forget past troubles and work together to protect the shifters in their respective packs along with the unsuspecting humans. They were meant to be together, but Archer left town to avoid marriage. Now he’s back to find out what is happening. I loved this book and will be recommending it to friends. Gage: Great sequel to Archer. Kaylee and Gage are such a great couple. They have both suffered losses and betrayal. I love how much these two characters seem to just know what the other needs and tries their hardest to supply it. The storyline flows well and builds upon the previous book. I am looking forward to reading the next in this series. Cohen: Awesome addition to this series. Cohen is damaged, and Ashe is the only one who can soothe him. When danger arrives unexpectedly, can these two tortured souls work together to save the clan? Great storyline, strong characters and a twist at the end that I didn’t expect. Emilia’s writing just keeps getting better and better. Can’t wait to see what she has planned next. Jax: Jax and Sydney are both plagued by ghosts from their pasts. How can they accept their attraction and feelings for each other, if they can’t forgive themselves? Lots of action, drama, intrigue and shifter romance involved in this book. The storyline is awesome and the characters are challenging. This book was so good that I couldn’t put it down. I look forward to finding out how they will get rid of the Hunters in future stories. What a great series. Rhylan: Wow, I really love this series. Thalia struggles to support herself during the day and search for her brother Javier after dark. Rhylan is still trying to come to terms with his wolf and cannot control his comments and urges. Their first meeting does not endear him to Thalia and subsequent ones are even worse. At times I wanted to shake Thalia, but Rhylan perseveres with trying to get through to her. Can Thalia guilt Rhylan into helping her find Javier or will she realise the truth? Will she accept the mate bond? Action-packed scenes, determined characters what more could you ask for! Javier: Another exciting tale in this series. Javier and Nora are both broken, but are determined to stop Cordelia from destroying any more shifters. Intrigue, betrayal, danger and despondence are in the background of this story. I enjoyed following Nora and Javier’s journey of discovery as they begin to forgive themselves and learn to accept their worth to others, with lots of twists and turns along the way. A wonderful addition to the series.
Archer *squeal!!!!!!!!!! When is the next book in the series coming out? Please tell me this is book 1 of a series. Its perfect and wonderful and oh so HOT!!! I'm too happy to come up with more words. Its all pretty much squealing in my head. Lol. Since I can't write a review with squeals, I will say this. I HIGHLY recommend this book if you are already a lover of shifter books or if you are curious about them. Happy reading! 5 stars
Gage *squeals and giggles A great ending! Gage and Kaylee were amazing. I was unable to stop reading until the end because I couldnt stop wanting to know what came next. Even now I am wanting to know what will happen with Cohen. I would recommend this book and also remind readers to read Archer and Joanna's story as well to get the full background. Happy reading! Rating 5 stars
Cohen I am deliriously happy after that ending. I fell hard for the Vancourt brothers. But none harder than Cohen. He was my favorite from the very beginning. Ashe was beyond perfection for him and everyone else. I am sad to see this series end. I would love to see some extended epilogues for everyone. But i suppose i can be enough by continuing to read whatever Emilia decides to write next. Yeah, no, Im lying. Im too greedy. I want both. I highly and enthusiastically recommend this book and the entire series. Happy reading! Rating 5 stars
Jax I enjoyed this book. I had almost forgotten about Jax. But pair him with Sydney and they become unforgettable. I am excited to see what happens next with their little pack. I would recommend. Happy reading! Rating 4 stars
Rhylan But what is going to happen with Javier and Nora?!! Thats all I can think about right now. I LOVED Rhylan and Thalia. Their clashing made for an amazing read. I would recommend. Happy reading! Rating 5 stars
Javier That was an ending I was not expecting. But boy, was it a good one! So much happened here and within just 3 books. I think Im surprised a conclusion was found already. Though we have an ending... I still want more. Most likely because I am greedy. Even so, I want more. Nora and Javier had to fight the most demons to find themselves and each other. This collection contains six complete full-length romances, packed with action, romance, and scenes that will make your heart race. The books include: Archer, Gage, Cohen, Jax, Rhylan, and Javier. Below is a review of what you will find in this awesome collection!
*** Reviewing JAX *** Sydney Meyers entered the police department, feeling guilty at delaying the unpleasantness she knew was coming. The Chief called her to his office, furious, and demanded to know what progress had been made in the missing person cases. But she had nothing to report. There was no commonality among them. There were no leads. So she started the second round of questioning back at the Sunrise Peak Lodge.
Jax Andrews needed some time away from the pack. He rode his motorcycle toward Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountain and stopped at a hotel-sized cabin called Sunrise Peak Lodge. He hesitated when he smelled another shifter – he didn’t want any territory disputes. Entering the lobby, he saw a cop questioning the clerk about some murders. He sensed the feeling of loss, and that triggered his wolf for its failure to save its own pack family. He turned and staggered outside, running into the woods. When Sydney finished with the clerk, she tried to follow the man she had seen run off, but a wolf was staring at her as she turned the corner of the building! Much to her surprise -- and especially Jax’s -- the wolf relaxed its body and laid down on the ground in front of her! Using this chance to get to safety, she slowly turned and walked away from the wolf.
The next morning, Sydney felt a pull to go back to the lodge. The man in the lobby who had run away had looked stricken; his face paled and he ran. Maybe he knew something? When they hear a woman’s scream and both run down the hillside to her aid, they identify her as one of the kidnapped women. But as Jax comforts her, the woman turns into a fox in his arms! This will move Sydney’s search in a whole new direction – and this time she will have help!
Fantastic book -- both main characters are incredible heroes. They fight their own brokenness but never cease to put the safety and protection of others first. They are not dealing with “normal” criminals, though. Both of them are in great danger, but neither will stop searching for the innocent victims. Will they track them down in time? Will they capture the perpetrators and uncover their horrible purpose? Don’t miss this one – it will keep you eagerly engaged until the very end!
Archer Archer hasn't been home for eight years, he left with his brothers when his father gave him an ultimatum. He suddenly receives a phone call from a stranger, calling him back to sort things out. When he arrives back, Joanna, the girl he was supposed to marry, is with someone else, his father is dying and his brothers are back too. The pack is in a mess. And Joanna's pack is in a worse predicament. Can he help her out without making it worse?
A great read
Gage He feels like his brother has abandoned him again, he's very much at a loose end. He wanders into town and smells out a coyote. She's a little tiny thing. Kaylee doesn't know what's going on, she feels as though she's been drugged, she thinks she sees paws instead of hands, and she can't stand up properly. Gage teaches her how to shift when she wants, he has strong feelings for her, she feels very safe with him. Another great read, best to read them in order.
Cohen He feels his bear is a monster that can't be tamed, so he left his brothers and went away. Then he too got a phone call. Ashe doesn't use all her witch's power and her shifter is hidden and won't come out. The 'baddie' from Joanna's pack is still causing trouble. Can they all work together for the good of the packs? A great completion to the series. 4 stars.
Jax Sydney is the detective charged with finding out where and why people are disappearing. Jax has left his pack because he feels guilty for still being alive when so many are dead, he thinks he should have protected them better. Together they fight the hidden baddies, who turn out to not be unknown.
Rhylan He gets turned and can't come to terms with the change. He gets involved with Jax and Sydney against the hidden ones. Thalia is looking for her brother and working at the motel so she's near the forest. Rhylan's wolf is very tempted by her and wants to follow her around. The man doesn't understand what's going on.
Javier Nora and Javier are mates but Cordelia has stolen his soul, and they don't know what state it's in.
Another great series from Emilia. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Six wonderful books ( 3 bear 3 wolf) by this very talented author I have read and reviewed each sepeartely so will just cut and paste her for your information ARCHER He wouldn't follow tradition and settle into an arranged marriage for the good of the can so he and his brothers left but now he has returned and finds that is mate is Joanna the woman he walked away from years before GAGE Kaylee is a human tattoo artist until she is bitten and suddenly her life changes when she becomes a coyote shifter Gage has returned to his clan with his brother and has no idea that his mate is about to put more ink onto him but once he finds he won't let her go COHEN They are both broken he believes that he has a monster inside while everyone has told Ashe she is wrong after all she had a witch mother and a lynx shifter father and she has never shifted i her life But will Cohen and Ashe find the love and support they need in one another JAX Jax feels guilty after all he got his alpha killed Sydney is a detective investigating the disappearance of three people At first she suspects Jax but as she grows to know and love him he will help her in her investigation and they will find love together. RHYLAN He is newly turned so is finding it hard to control his new wolf side so when he finds a woman in his room he just grabs her and suffers the consequences What Thalia doesn't understand is that he was just excited to find another shifter and only wanted his questions answering She is at the lodge working while she searches for her missing brother Will Rhylan help her find her brother and will they realise that they are mates Javier We met Javier's little sister THalia in the previous book and now it is his and Nora's story Bith of these are damaged and Nora's mother is the evil enchantess that has been hurting shifters will these two damaged souls be able to work together to stop her and in the process find salvation for them selves and true love together
This is a great way to introduce yourself to the wonderful shifter world of Emilia or refresh yourself if you are one of her faithful readers
Didn't realise I had read book one before as a standalone. I struggled with this, what a waste of my time. Forced myself to finish book one to the bitter end. What a spineless, weak waste of space the supposed heroine Joanna was. Joanna was a weak doormat, one of the worst female leads ever. She was forever waiting to act and wondered why what was left of the pack distrusted her. Why didn’t she do something after Killian killed her father and brother. At any time in the past 4 years she could have put a knife in Killian or used Patty’s gun and stopped the threat to her pack. WEAK for four years. Then when she could have righteously killed Killian, she let him live, spouting crap laws, but he had murdered her brother and father in cold blood so obviously those laws are one sided. Obviously, he will be coming back to make more trouble and hurt others. I found Archer uncouth and just self-centred. He was more about what he wanted and not willing to think things out. Then when he realises Joanna is not that bad for a mate, he drags his feet. Just not what I want to read. I liked the two brothers more but am loath to read the rest of this box set. The rest of the books could be better but I am not willing to risk it. Thank goodness for Kindle Unlimited, I returned the box set unfinished. ORIGINAL REVIEW for book one. I struggled with this. I found Archer uncouth and just self-centred. Joanne was a weak doormat, one of the worst female leads ever. She was forever waiting to act and wondered why what was left of the pack distrusted her. Then when she could have righteously killed Killian, she let him go. Obviously, he will be coming back to make more trouble and hurt others. A sharp kitchen knife or Patty’s gun would have solved the problem. Why didn’t she do something after Killian killed her father and brother. WEAK for four years. Just not what I want to read. Ended up skimming to the end. I liked the two brothers more. Thank goodness for Kindle Unlimited.

Emilia Hartley has forged six great full-length shifter romances in one box set. This set is packed with action, romance, evil and scenes that will make your blood steam and boil. The writing is wonderful, with well-developed characters and each story unfolds in a smooth, seamless manner
The first three stories follow the Vancourt brothers who were cast out of their clan by their father. Years later, they each receive a mysterious phone call telling them they need to return to fix things that they messed up when they left. Upon their return they find their father is dying and the neighboring pack is under a new power-hungry alpha intent on destroying the Vancourt pack.
The next three stories start with Jax from the former Bart Pack who has struck out on his own to where ever the road goes. He has a lot of demons to deal with and there's no place in his old pack for him. When he pulls into Sunrise Peak Lodge in the Blue Ridge Mountains, he quickly feels something is off when he immediatly hears of people going missing.
When he helps a shifter in trouble he finds himself involved with a local deputy, and an group of witches who use the energy of souls to fuel their magic. As the story unfolds, a small pack of misfits starts forming around him.
I always enjoy how characters carryover into the next story keeping the stories interconnected, just like life. This box set is so well written, keeping you reading far into the night it could only deserve a five star rating.

Six well-written stories that once I started reading I was not putting down the stories flow smoothly from page to page. Book one is Archer Vancourt and Joanna's story there is danger, suspense an evil pack leader, three brothers coming back to the pack they left, and a woman who has made mistakes but is now trying to correct them. Book two is Gage Vancourt and Kaylee is stuck in her coyote-shape because she was bitten and did not know what was happening. I found myself laughing at the way these two meet a well-written book that kept my interest until the end. Book three= This is Ashe and Cohen's story there is danger, suspense, drama, a man that is evil but he has ties to the brothers who he turns out being was a surprise! Ashe has been abused for years by the pack because she could not shift, the only ones that protected her when she was in her teens were the brothers especially Cohen. Book Four= This is Jax and Sydney a police detective's story. Book five= This is Rhylan who has been turned against his will and Thalia a shifter. Book six= Javier who was captured and abused by an enchantress he manager to escape but not without a lot of problems and his mate happens to be Nora, the enchantress’s daughter. Together these two must fight for their love and his soul against her mother. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Outcast boxset by Emilia Hartley completely beguiled me. This is a set of six books that are each individually named for their shifter title character. The first three books in the set are named Archer, Gage, and Cohen. These three stories revolve around grizzly bear brothers who are called home because their father is dying. The plots’ describe how each brother deals with their homecoming situation and the mates they choose. The next three books Jax, Rylan, and Javier are about a group of unrelated wolf shifters, who come together as a pack while fighting evil and finding mates in a small Virginia town called Fangway, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a boxset that I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. Each story within the set is a stand alone book with a happy ever after ending for the titled main character. Furthermore, this six book set titled Outcast contains an ongoing plot line that weaves all the books together in a seamless series of stories that are exciting, adventurous, and sexy. I recommend these books for anyone who enjoys a good story about life, love, and the trials and tribulations of people who just happen to be paranormal. This is an exciting, adventurous, sexy boxset that is just too great to miss! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I truly love shifters but have gotten sick of the fact that all anyone writes about them is how horny they are when they meet their mates. I haven't read this author before so I thought why not and I am so glad I did. The novels are each full length, with stories that will have your pulse racing with the danger and intrigue. From the 2 brothers who left with their brother who was exiled, to the returning son that had been removed from their memories. Witches who fear for their lives and for deeds done by other witches. Souls being snatched, packs threatened, this author spared no punches. Fated mates, doomed packs, wild rogues, leaderless packs, there is plenty of intrigue, great story lines, different species co-existing, turned humans, these characters will make you fall in love with this author and yearn for more. I thought I would have to break up the set instead of reading it all at once but I couldn't let it go and read through to the end. The stories are different enough that you wont get bored or tired out by repetitive plots. Each book leads you to the next and it's easy to forget they are separate books. Absolutely loved the characters, even the ones who thought they were monsters.
"Outcast" is actually two series, where the second set is a spin-off from the first, but it can be read completely independently from the first series. 3 brothers who were banished from their pack by their alpha father, as he did not want any cpmpetition. Now the father is sick and the neighboring pack under a new power-hungry alpha is threatening their old pack. Called back to protect they find a reason to stay and fight - the pack and their mates. The spin-off series is about one man of the pack leaving it, as he is unhappy with the changes. This is his story and the pack he starts forming around him of misfits he collects - fighting an evil group of witches who use the energy of souls to fuel their magic. I had read both series before, but re-reading was intersting, especially as now I could read them in one go, without having to wait for the next book to come out. It made the story better, as the overall story becomes more clear than when read one book at a time. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Can love overcome hatred, fear, loneliness and rage ? Can mates help broken shifters to heal? A very well written anthology that moves across the country and follows the fates of shifters as they try to overcome the problems caused by lack of love or even downright hatred. Although each story is linked and one leads neatly into the next it can be split into two halves but you will not regret reading them all even if it takes you all summer to do so ( and what great value for money that makes this set ) It leads you through every emotion you can possibly think of ( and some you probably wouldn't think of ) and gives you a deep insight to the making of a " pack " and why some become " alphas" and others ( even strong shifters ) do not Highly recommend this series for all shifter romance lovers

Outcast is a box set of six full length shifter romance novels. The first three are about the Vancourt brothers and what happens when they come home and find their mates. All of them are sexy protective bear shifter alphas who are willing to do anything for their mates. The other stories involve a wolf who is part of the Vancourt pack who leaves to take a break, a shifter who was changed against his will and a shifter being held prisoner by an evil witch. All of them unexpectedly find their mates and grow stronger together. The common thread through all these stories is the power of love and friendship as well as the strength and protectiveness of alphas, male and female. Emilia Hartley immediately draws you in and makes you feel connected to her characters, making her world seem like a place you would really like to live in. I enjoyed the stories in the OUTCAST series. From the start with Archer and Joanna to the conclusion with Javier and Nora. The running theme throughout the series is on where the characters deem themselves as outcasts (by outside forces or their own design) and thru their story find redemption and their own happy ending. My favorite story is that of Gage and Kaylee. I enjoyed how they came together and how they engaged the other characters. OUTCAST is a family of stories where our couples find redemption in their happy endings, and of course, love.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Outcast by Emilia Hartley is a collection of six stories that have an underlying storyline. These books are amazingly sexy and heart wrenching! Fall in love with the Vancourt brothers and their packmates Jax, Rhylan and Javier! I found myself laughing (out loud!), crying and fighting right along side them. Sexy shifters, strong heroines, steamy love scenes (Mature Readers Only Please) and heart pounding action... count me in! Treat yourself to a couple of sweat inducing and heart turning hours of addictive entertainment.
This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading a copy through Booksprout.
I enjoyed most of these books but honestly thalia just ruined the series for me, I mean yeah strong heroines are fine but she was a pathetic, stuck up idiot, seriously I mean wow the valley smells like death and suffering I'll just howl like a moron then attack the man that saved me Oh and I won't listen to any of his warnings because I know best, obviously he's An idiot because he said no and wants to protect me, don't do that level of stupidity again please, I honestly love your books but that ruined what would have been a great story: ( sorry can't give more than 3 stars on this one
This box-set contains the three books in the "Outcast Bears" series and the three books in the "Lost Wolves" series. That's a total of six wonderful reads in one place. Definitely a great deal. All six books contain great characters and story-lines. Which is my favorite? That's a tough question. Each story contains something that makes it "stand out". Hmm...maybe I need to reread them to make a decision. Oh well......

As a reader you cannot go wrong grabbing this boxset. The lead stories will branch of into a secondary connection that will make their world complete.
The first three books are about brothers righting wrongs done to them but it is not about vengeance so stay tuned for the wild ride.
The next three books will take along will a character seek forgiveness and peace from the shadows that haunt him and by the interactions of new characters a new path will be born.

This was a great read. All of the main characters were all shunned and cast out of the Vancourt Clan or directly connected. My favorite was Gage because of the “little wolf” who was a new shifter. All six of the books had good stories and vivid characters, which in itself, is rare. You usually get one or two books lacking. Not so in this set! Very good read!

This box set includes Archer, Gage, Cohen, Jax, Rhylan and Javier. All six of the storylines are entertaining, well written and have wonderful characters. They are full of action and romance that kept me turning the pages. Emilia Hartley has a unique way of writing shifter romances that pull you in from beginning to end.
