I did not really understand the story because I was lost with the characters. they were too many, we do not know if we are in the present or in the past. However, it remains a story with many twists. If someone can give me a summary pls thank you a lot haha my insta: capubooks! Happy reading

This is like pride and prejudice except every character is a horrible person that makes infuriatingly stupid decisions. EXCEPT Nelly she’s the only sane one who’s calling out everyone’s bs.
So weird but honestly at some point it becomes entertaining, like watching a reality TV show except its a guy holding his niece hostage until her dad dies of sadness and making her marry her cousin.
Overall I actually kind of liked it, it was exactly what I expected. The build up and suspense was pretty good and the ending is satisfactory.
I wish it leaned into the ghostly/supernatural aspect of catherine /heathcliff more.

I like the song better
