Mia is young and naive when she goes to prison for a crime that she didn't commit. To make matters worse, she did time at the hands of her own sister, Jasmine. Mia comes home with a chip on her shoulder and despite Jasmine's countless apologies, her vindictive and selfish ways prove to Mia that she hasn't changed one bit. Mia just wants to keep her distance from Jasmine and get her life together. Thanks to Jasmine's boyfriend, Mysonne, Mia finds a job, and thanks to Mysonne's best friend, Chrome, Mia finds a new relationship.
It doesn't take long for things to go left, and Mia discovers that those closest to her are the reason for many days of heartbreak, betrayal, and disappointment. One of the few people in her corner, who doesn't cause her any pain, is the one person who should be off limits to her.
It doesn't take Mysonne long to figure out that Jasmine was the worst mistake of his life. Dismissing her is no problem, but Mysonne soon finds himself in the midst of chaos when he discovers that his best friend is foul, and his ex, Misha, is grimy. Mysonne feels that his back is against the wall, but like the true savage that he is, he comes out the corner swinging.
He seems to have everything under control, everything except the romantic feelings that are brewing for an associate, which will lead to a world of drama. Mysonne can't believe that his womanizing, abusive, best friend got the prize that is Mia, and soon, Mysonne, Chrome, Mia, and Jasmine, find themselves in a chaotic, drama filled adventure that quickly erupts into a street war that turns friends into enemies.
This was such a good book. Filled with drama. Jasmine had 9 lives, I was ready for her to die, but it wasn’t in the cards. I think she got off to easily in the end. I wish the ending wasn’t so abrupt. I would have to see more about Mia and Myshonne. Also I was dying to see what happened with Shay and Jeff. Nonetheless this was very entertaining story.
Jasmine didn’t seem to understand the meaning of loyalty. She continued to play games and karma came back in the most unthinkable way. I didn’t feel sorry for her because wanting to be taken care of resulted in her making foolish decisions. I really liked Mia and it was messed up how Chrome was trying to play games. He had Malaysia but really felt some type a way once Mia moved on. Mysonne was truly a good dude and he found happiness in the one no one would’ve expected him to deal with. It was unfortunate that he started beefing with Chrome but some people aren’t expected to remain in ones circle. So many factors played a part of the downfall of these characters but aye they deserved it after all the problems they caused.
Great read. Jasmine was a very sad individual. She had the entitlement ideas. That she didn’t have to work she was everything to be give to her. Mia was the opposite. That shy her life was better. Great read...
Drama around every corner and I’m mad I share a name with Jasmine. I was rooting for her in the beginning. She owned who she was, but she quickly and progressively got worse as the story went on. I enjoyed the twists and turns though. Great read.
This was a really good story. Jasmine was a horrible person, she caused so much pain to get family. Mia took her knocks but came back swinging. My only criticism was the names for mixed up sometimes...editing issue.
That Jasmine was a piece of work kinda wish it was a part 2. I wanna know who and how she got the ninja .. is it possible her sis has it they did fool around in the same circle. Anywho this was really good
Listen my girl did not disappoint…DYHM?! From beginning to end this was full of curveballs and scandalous betrayal! I knew eventually life would catch up to Jasmine…whew this book deserves 10+ 🌟🌟!!
Jasmine was the chick you love to hate. Mia is my girl. I didnt expect chrome to be so darn crazy. Mysonne is another book bae. Read it for yourself. I wanna know more.
