An excellent book for anyone with questions about cryptocurrency. The author does promote her website for investments. There are sections about stock and bonds. After reading this book I feel more confident about investing in cryptocurrency.

The book contains 300 pages, but I doubt that the pages I actually benefited from could amount to 50 pages. I bought the book for the sole purpose of investing in cryptocurrencies, but the “investing” (as what apparently the title suggests) is almost nowhere to be found.
The majority of the book itself was dedicated to cryptocurrency, when I expected to mainly address investing in cryptocurrencies, and not the cryptocurrency itself. And when it finally took on the subject of investing, it talked about not-really-important subjects like brokers or exchange applications...
It did talk about technical and fundamental analysis, but when it did, it did very briefly, I felt like they were secondary subjects that should be only passed momentarily, it like entering your house and feeling like a stranger.
Not to mention the horrible writing style that was full of self-promotions EVERYWHERE. It was very amateurish, putting too many jokes (cringy ones too!) in an investing book isn’t the best of ideas.
Only thing that made me give it three stars rather than two is the part when other cryptocurrencies are mentioned. I was familiar with them prior to reading, but because they were put in a comparison, it was better done that other books of the same subject.
To be fare, I read four books about cryptocurrencies before diverging into this one, some I’m not a “dummy” about the subject, but that doesn’t justify anything, after all, the title says “investing” so...

Predatory nonsense. Imagine an Instagram Forex trader. You probably can imagine the type. Now imagine that that person wrote a book. Superficial, very little true knowledge but a lot of fancy words and promises.

I don’t know what I expected from a “cryptocurrency investing for dummies“ book, but I was maybe hoping for some good general information. To fill some gaps. Instead I got what seems to be mostly harmful 300 pages of hype, self-promotion, and outright falsehoods. It’s like the author did their research by watching a couple YouTube videos

A big part of this is just thinly veiled marketing for whatever predatory “make money trading cryptocurrency“ course the author is trying to sell.

"I really liked it."

I would have given her a 5/5, but she blew it when she recommended using a keyboard walk as a password for your cryptocurrency wallet!

This was the only thing that I caught within the book I highly disagreed with, everything else I thought was great, but this was a huge fumble. Kiana "the Investment Diva" Danial, no ma'am... this is very bad advice. In educational environments practicing penetration testing on information systems, I have personally bruteforced/cracked keyboard walks in minutes. Hackers who are targeting crypto wallet whales will absolutely have access to the same tools or even better ones, with massive repositories of password hashes that include every keyboard walk an artificial intelligence can imagine... and will attempt to run these endlessly at speeds the human mind cannot comprehend.

I'll stop there... hopefully you get the point and folks who are not in the Information Technology (IT) field and/or are tech savvy... do not follow this advice!

Moving past this massive cybersecurity best practice/bad advice blunder, this is actually a very good cryptocurrency investment book. I have a lot of respect for the author as a woman, a mother, someone born in Iran, who went to school Japan, made it big in the United States as an investment guru, has her own business/website/books/on TV shows... she has been very successful and has had a super impressive win streak.

Fair warning, which she does provide, this book is bursting from the seams with referral codes/links pointing at the author. Not only is she making money off of her book, she is also racking up a lot of referral sales as well I am sure from this publication. Honestly, I am not mad at her for this and good for her. At least she discloses it. Again to compliment her, money making is her game and delivering a product like this absolutely resonates that with multiple paths towards passive income for her flowing in.

She aggressively points you to her IDDA (Investment Diva Diamond Approach) methodology and wants you to sign up for her training sessions (which I looked in to are anywhere from $1,000-$2,000 or more). However, the content within this book is pretty informative and she provides a lot of free content and resources to absolutely get someone going in the crypto investment game.

This review may appear to have a negative tone, but I honestly did really enjoy the content and learned a lot. As opposed to negative, swap out that word with nothing but honesty about her aggressive push to make your money her money. Again, I'm not mad at her... it is obviously working for her and hopefully (as she claims as her 'students') helping others along the way.

Some people will detest a book like this and her trying to gain on top of gain. If that sounds terrible to you, definitely avoid this.

If you've never invested into crypto before, this would be a great place to get started and learn a lot.

When you read to a woman, you read a simple yet very important book, far away from fancy words and expressions.

One of the best books I've read this year

I bought this book because I'm intrigued with bitcoin and the cryptocurrency boom that is occurring at this very moment. I didn't like it for 3 reasons.

First, it is a terrible audiobook so if you are thinking about reading it, actually read it. There are many URLs listed in the book and listening to the reader rattle them off is a terrible experience " lower case a, lower case b, hyphen dot com." Also there are many graphs in the book, so if you are listening to an audiobook the reader will say "as figure 1 shows" -- and you wont be able to see figure 1. Just trust me on this.

Secondly, Kiana Danial uses the book to promote her personal business -- many times. You will be sick of hearing it.

Third, the book is wildly inconsistent. While the beginning chapters are what "dummies" are looking for, for example "what is a bitcoin" and "what is blockchain"; the later chapters go headlong into advanced technical analysis , chart reading, forex trading, and other advanced day-trading techniques that "dummies" have no business getting involved in.

Two stars.

4,5 stars; excellent primer on bitcoin and the rest; the tone is very playful and upbeat which makes for a pleasant listening experience on audible; in addition the author provides plenty of healthy investment advice in general, giving you a real feel for the different asset classes and how cryptocurrencies can play a part; highly recommended.

Mostly self promotion for her website/courses and affiliate links so she can make more money from people signing up for things she is pushing. The book actually contains very little useful information and is quite outdated now. It isn’t written in a ‘beginner friendly’ style and is kind of all over the place with lots of focus on forex, not crypto. Definitely not recommended which is sad as I usually find the ‘Dummies’ books to be really useful when first learning about a subject.

A great introduction to the topic of investing with cryptocurrencies. However, it would probably be better for me to have bought an ebook format instead of listening to the audiobook due to all the links that were rambled off. (Reading links doesn’t do much good for me-rarely am I sitting on the ready to manually enter in a lengthy url into my browser while I am listening to my audiobook)

I think the bread and butter of the content in this book was beneficial. It had a brief over view for the concepts and features of cryptocurrency. I learned a few things that I will apply for future investing in this new market. I did like how most of the content was presented and easy to read. It also opened my mind of actually doing research on certain coins instead of just buying the hype/celebrity crypto people usually do.. I do have to say, a good amount of this book is self promotion crap for her group/website. Also most chapters started and ended the same, by her mentioning she lived in Japan blah blah blah join my investment group, use my referral codes, and other repetitive nonsense. Honest review: I would give it a 6.8/10, if she cut out the repetition, it would probably save a lot of pages.

It is a myth that Bitcoin payment processes are infallible, secure and can't be hacked. I just have my son’s account recovered with about $16,000 worth of bitcoins. Those of us who still have doubt about retrieving their forgotten passwords or frozen account back ,can reach out to these specialist email via (cryptobinaryExpert @ hot.mail .Com) .it was highlighted in recent days when the US Justice Department traced and seized much of the Bitcoin ransom that a major U.S. pipeline operator paid to a Russian hacking collective (DarkSide) after it shut down the Colonial Pipeline. That is, it is possible when you reach out for help .

It is a good read that gives you an idea about cryptocurrency and what parameters one should consider for investing, but since by nature cryptocurrency is still in its nascent form I wouldn't recommend anyone investing books regarding these instruments. It is way better for a person should follow a weekly blog on cryptocurrency.

Awful. A waste of time.

Each time the author approached any subject there was a characteristic avoidance of substance. If you want to read the same tired, knowledge-vacant text then this book is for you. For everyone else, this is a waste of time.

Solid overview of investing in cryptos for sure with some pointers that would help you in 'regular' investing as well. I just wish the book had more about why cryptocurrency is actually valuable. I'm still left with the nagging feeling it's a scam.
