Seth Cost is a brilliant young man; great at improvising, but terrible at thinking ahead. He has lived his entire life in the floating city of Swevender. Never has he seen what really lies beneath the cloud cradling his home. Never did he realise that the common practise of ‘water wielding’ is only a small fraction of what his world has to offer.
But before he even has a chance to explore it, his world is destroyed. Seth becomes stranded on the surface of the barren planet – alone. Only the strongest survive, and he quickly learns he needs to become even stronger if he ever wants to see Swevender again.
Evodents, Clase, The Wandering Cross, Element Binding – these are all terms Seth learns during his odyssey, opening his eyes to how little he knows about his own universe. As his impetuosity throws him from one adventure to the next, our hero struggles to find a way back home.
Fallen world is the first book in The Seth Cost Saga. A visually captivating adventure novel that will take you on an epic journey full of perils and struggles.
Seth Cost is a young, self-styled rebel who is great at extemporizing and loves gardening. At the age of 22 he has managed to gain a reputation of being disliked by few people because of his bluntness and straightforward manner of speech. He lives in Swevender, an artificially created floating city, intriguing designed and constructed by three powerful wielders Io, Kern and Marsa who taught the citizens to wield water and exploit its power which is known as the art of water wielding.
For this year's annual ritual, Seth along with two other students Kurt and Stacey were selected to perform the ritual. But before he gets a chance to make his point something unexpected happens that unleashes chaos unlike anything. Follow along as he finds himself in a new city and embarks on a dangerous journey, meeting new creatures and undertaking an adventure.
An incredible beginning to a fast paced interesting book series. The thing that was most interesting was Seth, the protagonist was thrust into an unknown place in the most bizarre manner possible and the way how it all unveiled, right from the rollicking journey to the powerful, high stakes odds was absolutely lit. The author made sure to include the readers into this amazing adventure through a masterful narrative and weaved an utterly captivating storyline. It was definitely one of a profoundly well-written novel that honestly captured the essence of exciting reading experience quite well.
As I move forward to its sequel and I am thankful that it has been already written and published because the first book's cliffhanger was so exciting that waiting would have been a torture. I would highly recommend this series to all the adventure genre readers because it has an unique concept with a great potential that I'm the author will explore in the upcoming books and it was definitely worth the reading time.
