An amazing collection by some of the best authors of historical romance. Plus who doesn't like a rogue!!

Scandalous Redemption by Amanda Mariel A delightful romance that will show that true, kind love is possible even if the past has been painful. Lady Claudia and Lord Henry try to find their happy ending although it may take a bit to get there!
This delightful collection of 6 Regency romances explores some of the familiar tropes we all know and love in the genre: a fake betrothal, a widow not wishing to remarry, second chance at love, a bluestocking finding love, an impoverished nobleman seeking an heiress, and people who have no desire to marry.
Book 1: The Rake Takes a Wife by Aileen Fish: Jonas’s grandfather wants to know he’ll settle down before he will allow Jonas to inherit his estate. Jonas asks his friend’s sister—whom some would consider to be on the shelf—to play the role in exchange for a season in town.
Book 2: Scandalous Redemption by Amanda Mariel: Widowed Claudia only desires a lover after the death of her brutal husband, not another man to rule over her. Will that be enough for Lord Shillington, or is he only more interested in the honorable choice of marriage?
Book 3: Dealing with the Viscount by Clair Brett: Ella and Renwick had a deal that appeared to take a tragic turn. When that turns out to be not true, will they have a second chance at love?
Book 4: When an Earl Turns Wicked by Dawn Brower: The Earl of Harrington is quite content in his life that includes running a club; his grandfather wishes he would give up his licentious ways. Lady Marian wants nothing more than to be a physician—and has even been training—but she is not being taken seriously because of her gender. She devises a foolproof plan, she believes, and charms the earl to make him take part, against his better judgment.
Book 5: A Marriage Made in Mayfair by Tamara Gill: After a bad first season caused in part by Lord Danning, Susan returns to London wanting revenge. Lord Danning requires an heiress to shore up his crumbling financial circumstances and wants nothing more to charm and seduce Susan to achieve that end.
Book 6: My Duke’s Seduction by Tammy Andresen: Lady Tricia wants nothing more than to devote herself to charity work; no husband or family for this daughter of a duke. Family ailments bring her to a seedier part of London, where the Duke of Landon protects her. The duke knows he must marry one day but hasn’t had a desire to until he meets the impulsive woman who risks her own safety to help her family.
Despite the title, not all the men here are rogues. In fact, several of them are quite honorable from the outset! Sometimes, the women are more roguish than the men.
As is typical in collections like these, the writing quality varies by writer, but the stories are a good read if you like Regency Romance. Four of the books are first in series, and the other two take place in the middle of a series, so if you like a book, you have more rogues to read about! I'm familiar with some of these authors, but some of them were new to me, which is always the fun part of a collection. I've definitely found more authors that I will follow.
I received a free copy of this review, but that did not affect my review.
I enjoyed the other books these authors have written, however this box set was tedious and tiresome. I was very disappointed. THE RAKE TAKE A WIFE: ⭐⭐⭐ A very subtle clean romance. The transition from friends to betrothed is slow but without a lot of substance. SCANDALOUS REDEMPTION: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ All Lady Claudia Akford has wanted was someone to love her. When it came to the opposite sex, she was always making a cake of herself. Her deceased husband Lord Akford never loved her. He forced her to marry him using scandal that he created. In the six years they were married, he sexually assaulted her, physically and emotionally abused her, cut her off from her friends and family. She was not allowed to form any kind of connection with anyone. She lived a lonely painful life. Claudia was glad he was gone. At her cousin's country home, she met Lord Henry Shillington. Henry was automatically mesmerized by Claudia. But he could not continue a friendship with her because of his loyalty to his friend Lady Luvington. Claudia thought herself in love with Lord Luvington since his proposal six years ago before Akford fouled things up. After her mourning period, she went to Luvington's townhouse to profess her undying love only to be rejected by him. He was happily married and had a babe on the way. Lady Luvington will never forgive Claudia and the embarrassment of it all caused Claudia to retreat to her cousin's country home. Rejected again by Henry reinforced Claudia's desire to never marry again. She had enough to contend with because the ton would never let her live down the scandal her deceased husband caused. The Duchess and her cousin convinced her to rejoin London society. Claudia's first ball at Almacks was a smashing success. Henry came to regret his refusal of Claudia. He was such that his good friend Lady Luvington would not stand in the way of his happiness if that included Claudia. He set out to court her. Claudia ought to have told Henry from the beginning that she would never marry, but she was so lonely and staved for attention that she allowed his suit. When she was faced with Henry's proposal, she turned him away. Henry would not be deterred. He would wait until she came to trust him and then hopefully by then she would agree to marry him. Claudia agreed to let Henry continue to court her. She knew she would never change her mind about marriage and knew that eventually she and Henry would eventually part ways. But she could not stop seeing him. A very emotionally complex story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. DEALING WITH THE VISCOUNT: ⭐⭐ A crazy illogical fear of sub coming to love. For some reason Ella trusted no man. She is cynical and negative with uncharitable opinions of men. Devon is sitting on the picket fence trying to decide whether to love or not to love. Neither Ella nor Devon had good examples in their lives. Now there is a child involved and Devon and Ella must work out how to satisfy their own idea of being a good parent.
ONE INCREDIBLE RIDE!!! OMG! Man, talk about getting lost in tge pages. A whirlwind of emotions and events that feed from the excitement and nerve racking tension that brings this amazing collection blazing to life brilliantly. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few glitches and bumps here and there pull you deeper into these raging storylines and hard hitting plots. Throw in all the drama, intrigue, uncertainty and suspense and you have one intense, page turning bombshell that grabs your attention and holds it from start to finish. The characters are complex and so believable it feels like you can just reach out and touch them. The scenes are so graphically detailed it really pulls this little jewel together beautifully. You have no trouble picturing each scenario as it plays out perfectly. These extremely talented authors definitely nailed this bad boy 100% on point with such realism it brings this bad boy roaring life flawlessly. Remarkable job guys, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
This is a box set of six romantic tales featuring devilishly captivating rogues and the ladies that inspire them to love. The stories are perfect and absolutely enjoyable!
As an example, WHEN AN EARL TURNS WICKED by Dawn Brower is a delightful story pitting an Earl, with no intention of entering into marriage, against a feisty spinster who wishes to train to be a physician and be treated like she knows what she is doing. She enlists the Earl of Harrington’s help with a plan that cannot go wrong, she says. But he has the distinct impression that he might end up engaged to be wed by the end of their evening!
Each story was an enticing historical read, an alluring collection of clever story lines and strong feminine characters. This collection is really a treat that I am sure the reader will thoroughly enjoy from start to finish!
I received an arc by Dawn Brower through Booksprout and this collection was so much fun to read. Dawn is joined by Aileen Fish, Amanda Mariel, Clair Brett, Tamara Gill and, Tammy Andresen. 6 books, all quite different in their style and story, held together by the idea of historical and romance. The women are all stong characters, who know what they want and the men have to proof their valor to them. Entertaining and because of their different styles each one is different from the last. A really well-put together antology. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wonderfully written series of HEA. Stories were unique, often humorous, and always sensual. Characters were strong and their characteristics were described in such a way that I feel I know each one perfectly
I wish that some of the authors would of finished their stories instead of leaving the stories unfinished. I have never read anything from these authors.
Devilishly Sinful Rogues is an anthology of six different stories written by six talented writers that each feature a very different couple. This anthologies stories vary greatly in characters, tone, and plot but are all enthralling to read. I loved reading each and every one of them.
