What happens when the legend you love, becomes the man you hate?
Camilla: Do I love Rhett Steele? Absolutely not. Do I like Rhett Steele? Not even close. Do I hate Rhett Steele? Yes. This is the man who destroyed my world, shattering my dreams the very first time I met him. It’s like he purposely pushes buttons I don’t even realize exist. I wouldn’t live with him if he were the last man on earth. Then how did he end up being my newest most hated roommate?
Rhett: My singing career is tanking, my fans are turning against me, and I’m told I need to clean up my image. I should have done it with America’s sweetheart on my arm. But what’s the fun in that? Instead, I turn to the woman who hates me more than anyone. I’ve already hit rock bottom, I can only go up from here, or so I thought.
Emily Bowie is a USA Today bestselling author. She's from a small town in Western Canada.
From the time she could place her thoughts on paper, she has been making characters come to life through her writing. She loves her white wine cold, her heels red, and her books spicy.
She married her high school sweetheart and they have two amazing children.
My God, I can't understand how some authors think that this type of guy can be the "hero" of some story! The Guy is a rude pig who takes advantage and betrays the "heroine" not once, but several times, first sabotaging the her career after using her to promote himself and stealing her songs, not once but TWICE even after they are in a relationship! I'm sorry, this is nothing "hero" to me. He is just a selfish jerk, an unscrupulous usurper thief. Oh and let's not forget about the double sexist standards here too! Im MY opinion he should end in the gutter while she successfully follows her life and finds another man that is worthy of her trust, not with an excuse for a man without character and manipulator.
Camilla has a less than positive relationship with Rhett, so when he comes to her for help, she really should kick his ass to the curb. But somehow she goes along with it and finds that just maybe this time they can make something work, if Rhett doesn't change back to his old self, the self she loves to hate.
As far as enemies to lovers goes, Whisky Moments is great. Camilla and Rhett have chemistry for days, and their banter and deep feelings for each other are entertaining reading. I admit to not liking Rhett at first, because he was such an ass, relying on his dubious charm and displaying grating arrogance, but by the end he had won me over just as he had won over Camilla. Camilla was fabulous - strong, sweet and compassionate.
I haven't read any of the other stories in Steele Family series, but after falling for this couple, I plan on going back and reading them all!

"She peers up at me through her long, thick lashes, and those whisky eyes urge me to get drunk off of them. She feels it too. I watch as her eyes dilate, becoming darker, luring me in, making me believe I need a sip."
WOW!!! This book was the ultimate swoon-fest of epic enemies to lovers and I inhaled it in one sitting. The chemistry between Rhett and Camilla was instantaneous, thick and heady like your favorite smell, and threw off sparks that would burn the whole world down. I was entertained to no end by their antics, their banter, and the fall was nothing short of pure magic. Rhett and Camilla were powerhouse country stars, but their realness and vulnerability was purely intoxicating. The whirlwind I was sucked in to from beginning to end was never dull, rife with twists and turns, and things I never saw coming. I loved every second, I couldn't get enough, and I dare say this is my favorite book of the whole series. Definitely putting it on my Top Reads of the Year List!! An absolute MUST READ small town southern music romance!! Love, Love, Loved it!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!
Whisky Moments by Emily Bowie a five-star read that goes down like a well-aged single malt. This is number four in the Steel Family series and it feels like they have all lead to an amazing place, and what a story. Rhett Steel has always been the far away one, the Steel brother who ran away, the one who needed to grow up, even if he was the one who should be the most grown up, he has his own life and career, stood on his own two feet away from family but for some reason he was still a boy child at heart, saying that he was always there for his family. He was the Steel brother we knew least about and now we get our chance, and wow Rhett could serenade me any time, I would even lock my dog in the bathroom and that’s not something I say lightly as he is my baby, that being said I doubt I would get the chance as I suspect that Camilla is a better woman that I would ever be. Camilla is stronger than I think even she realises, her story is an honest one, even if she must use devious ways to keep it that way. I love the time that we get to spend in Three Rivers, but it was also nice getting to see Nashville in all its glory. I am sad that there are no more Steel brothers to hear from, but I am so glad that we are not done in Three Rivers yet and cousin Kiptyn is getting his turn. Emily Bowie’s writing is like a fine wine or whisky, smooth, strong, and tasty enough to make you forget everything but the moment you are in.
NB: this is my second read through of the book but I enjoyed it just as much as the first.
Camilla and Rhett are fire and ice, chalk and cheese, oil and water. Their chemistry and banter is amazing, funny and down right sexy. I love the glimpses into the past, they really tie everything together so perfectly. It is an easy to read book that had me hooked from page one. I am so excited that Kiptyn is getting a story, I’m not ready to leave this world behind just yet
Rhett Steele is officially my favorite Steele! The ever illusive rock star brother that we did not learn much about in the previous books has one crazy story. This guy might seem like he tried to leave his old life behind, but he tried all he could to help keep everything afloat. When he gets down on his luck he sweet talks Camilla, another singer to help him return to his former self. Problem is that Camilla hates his guts and has her own problems and her hate in Rhett is 100% justified. Let's just say that the guy has been pretty awful to her. So what is a girl to do when he also makes her feel things?!
I adored Whisky Moments! It shows that people are real, they are going to make mistakes, some pretty darn big ones, but it matters with what they do afterwards. Rhett is far from perfect, but he has a good heart when he isn't joking it all away. Camilla is a freaking peach with having to deal with him but then sees him for who he really is. This is not an easy story, there are a lot of hoops to jump through, but sometimes that makes it even sweeter! 5 stars from me!
PS: A huge thank you to Emily Bowie and Give Me Books PR for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!
It has taken me a moment to come up with words to describe this book. For starters, WOW! Emily Bowie has done an amazing job writing this book and I can’t wait for everybody to jump into the minds of these two amazing characters. Camilla Black and Rhett Steele love messing with each other. They have what would be described as a love/hate relationship. Rhett is the type of character that at first I wanted to hate for that way he acted and some of the things that he did but as you get to know him, there is a heart of gold waiting underneath. Rhett Steele and Camilla Black are both country music stars living the dream in Nashville. Once Rhett’s music career starts to take a hit, as well as his image, Rhett turns to the one person he knows he shouldn’t, Camilla Black. Out of everybody who would help his image he goes after the one person who hates him. As Rhett spends time with Camilla he realizes that maybe he does not know her as well as he thinks he does. After everything that has happened in the past between them, trust is essential. Will Camilla open up about the things she hides from the press, and can she trust Rhett after everything he has done?
Two sides of the same coin, one side you let people think that's how you are, the other side you hide and only those who are closest to you see who you truly are. Rhett Steel is that man, a country singer with the persona of the country music bad boy, the other a small-town boy with a heart of gold. But when you have to portray the bad boy so much sometimes the lines get blurred and it takes a special kind of woman to get you on the path that she knows you to have while straightening you out.
Camilla Black is trying desperately to do the one thing she has always dreamed of and that is to make it in the music industry and become the star she knows she is. Except when she has a man she loves to hate she isn't sure to love, hate, or forgive him and love him for what he has done to her all at the same time.
Can Rhett and Camilla figure out the path meant for them? Or will they let the other fall from grace?
Emily Bowie has fast become one of my new favorite authors and I have fallen in love with this series.
5 Sweet Romantic Stars!!! My favorite book in the series! I dare you to not fall in love with Rhett!!
Rockstar romance books are my go to books to read and I have to say this one definitely tops the charts for me!! Out of the four books in the series so far, I can say that this one is my favorite! Emily Bowie knows how to write a story that just pulls you in and characters you can't help but fall in lvoe with (ahem, Rhett). If you love a sweet story with lots of passion then I highly suggest one clicking this book now!
This is book 4 in the Steele family series, and unfortunately also the last one. I’m sad to see this family ‘go’. These books can be read as a stand-alone, but I’d advise to read them in order!
Rhett. The last one to fall in love. He was always a bit mysterious, as we didn’t get much intel on him. He’s a big country singer, and hasn’t been home in Three Rivers often. He meets Camilla at a talent show years ago, before she made it big in the country world. There was always kind of a battle between these two. And while reading their story I was inwardly screaming at Rhett in between why he would do the things he did. He seriously needed to grow up in my opinion, which he thankfully did!
Loved this book as I did the whole series! If you’re into small town romances this series is it for you! And with the scenes with certain side characters I’m sure we’ll hear from this family again!!!
I kindly received an arc and voluntarily left a review
Whisky Moments is book four in the Steele Family series. It can be read as a standalone. If you have read the previous ones you'll know who Rhett is. I was really looking forward to Rhett's story. He's the Steele brother that ran off for fame and before this book we knew very little of him. In this one we get to learn all about Rhett. Rhett's the little straight forward mixed with a bit of crazy. His career is on the ricks and he's hoping Camilla can help him get it back on track. Camilla doesn't like Rhett very much. These two have a love hate relationship. Their banter and interactions at times are funny. When they are not fighting each other, they have a connection and great chemistry.
This is the 4th book in this awesome series and is Rhett and Camilla’s story. Rhett’s career is on the rocks and he needs someone to help save it and redeem his image, so he chooses Camilla to help him. No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a beautifully written story with explosive chemistry, witty banter, twists, heartbreak, and is an epic enemies / lovers love story, which had me totally intrigued and hooked throughout this addictive page turner, which I highly recommend for all.
I have loved this whole series, each book has been better than the last. This is no exception, it has heartbreak, very funny banter, and sexual tension so thick you can cut it with a knife. I loved every word of this book and Rhett and Camilla. I can't wait for Emily's next book, I love her writing.
Reviews On amazon. Good reads. BookBub. And the book addicts

I absolutely loved this series and all the brothers !!
Whisky Moments is book 4 in the Steele Family series but can be read as a standalone book. I highly recommend reading the whole series.
I loved Camilla and Rhett. The banter they share, the undeniable chemistry and all the drama that goes along with being 2 hugely popular country singing stars makes for an addictive read.
This is Book #4 in the Steele Family series. I have read the first 3 books in the series. Camilla and Rhett has this fire and ice type of relationship. Their chemistry was combustible and how Camilla handled him was icy at times. Great story about going after someone who changes your world.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Recommend this book? Yes! Author? Yes! Read more from this author? Yes!
Rhett was always a mystery and I’m so excited we finally got his story! I love how Rhett is accountable for what he has done and that Camilla is strong and doesn’t take him back right away! I’m sad Dick went cuckoo and ummmm we need Kellie’s story stat!
Quotes
“I’m willing to fight for you Camilla, and show you I mean it.”
"You're beautiful as hell, this is my favorite look on you," I say low enough for only her to hear.
It doesn’t matter where I go, I have a feeling that anywhere with Camilla will feel like home. Maybe I just needed her to come back home to show me what I could have.
she’s all mine. I somehow got my girl, and I don’t plan to ever let her go.
“It’s funny the people who you think you hate end up getting in your head so much that it clouds who they really are. Love and hate both hold so much emotion that they can often be confused with each other.
I’m dropping my next album next month call whisky moments; every song on there is about a whisky eyed beauty who I have fallen in love with.

4.5 Stars Review by Elizabeth Late Night Reviewer Up All Night with Books Blog
Hook. Line. Sinker.
Emily Bowie’s newest book, Whiskey Moments, has something in common with her other books. The common thing? They grab you from the beginning and refuse to let you go. They are the classic example of the phrase, hook, line, and sinker.
Rhett and Camilla have a rocky history. I am talking very rocky, mountain rocky. Rhett is a good guy, however, when having to have the “bad boy” image there comes blurred lines. With those blurred lines, it causes a good guy to start becoming that “bad boy.” The price of being a bad boy is his image. Now his image is depleting, and he needs the help of someone, a woman, to restore it. The one-woman that comes to mind is someone he should not ask but does anyway. The woman, Camilla, has every right to say no to Rhett, only she doesn’t. Which stirs up the question, why?
Rhett and Camilla may have a rocky history, but their chemistry is off the charts. Ms. Bowie has delivered two strong characters with real-life flaws that make this enemy to lovers romance just the right temperature. There were many times when I thought Camilla could do much better than Rhett, but as the story unfolds, you see just how perfect they are together.
Whiskey Moments by Emily Bowie is a fantastic book! I have been waiting on Rhett Steele's story since I started reading this series! Whiskey Moments is the 4th book in the Steele Family Series. Emily Bowie didn’t disappoint me at all with Whiskey Moments. It was definitely worth the wait! I couldn’t put this book down until I finished reading it! In Whiskey Moments, we finally get the love story of Rhett Steele and Camilla Black. Rhett is a hot country music singer and Camilla is a reality star/ singer. The two meet when Camilla wins a singing competition that Rhett is judging. Rhett's career is going down and he needs a new hit song. He gets the hit song at the expense of Camilla as he stole the song from her. Camilla has been feeling angry at Rhett since this happened early in her singing career. The pair has a love/hate relationship with each other. They come in contact again during the awards show. The chemistry between is hot and spontaneous. Will Rhett be able to get over his writer’s block and write another hit song? Will Camilla get over her dislike of Rhett? Will Rhett and Camilla give in to their attraction? Will the pair get their happy ever after? You will have to read Whiskey Moments by Emily Bowie to find out! Whiskey Moments had me laughing and crying while reading this book. This book has plenty of romance and steamy love scenes. It was also awesome catching up with the rest of the Steele family as well. Emily Bowie did a fantastic job of catching the reader up with the rest of the family. Make sure you grab a copy of Whiskey Moments by Emily Bowie! You won’t be disappointed! I enjoyed reading the Steele Family Series.
I have come late to the Steele Family series a tad late, as I started with Bittersweet Moments (Book 3) first. However, I'm a firm believer in better late than never, even when I've decided that I've been living under a rock. Rhett is another Steele brother, and he ran off to become famous on his own, and until Whisky Moments, he wasn't really a known character. Anyway, his career is now on the rocks, and he needs help with getting it back on track, which is where Camilla comes in. However, she really does hate him after he messed with her world destroying things, so it's really an enemy to lovers situation, and at first, she isn't inclined to help him. She finally agrees, and bring on the chaos! They have a push & pull situation that was almost too frustrating, but Emily Bowie made it hurt so good. The chemistry is off the charts, and while these two are trying to keep it contained, it won't be denied for any length of time. The banter is next level awesome, and I couldn't get enough of it to be honest, as these two definitely know how to interact for the most entertainment. And that's all that I really have to say about it, so will Rhett & Camilla work things out?! Has she helped his career to get back on track?! For answers to these questions, you'll have to hit that one click button to experience all this goodness for yourselves! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
I received a complimentary ARC - early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.
This is book 4 in a series but it does stand alone. I have not read any of the other books in the series and I was not lost at all in this book.
It stars Rhett Steele, who is a country singer with bad allergies and a thing for fellow country star, Camilla. They have a long and complicated hate history and this is a hate/love romance between two country western stars.
Rhett is broke and he does a lot of terrible things to Camilla so she is very justified in her hatred of him. Until he decides to move in and be pretend dating. If that sounds fun it absolutely is. There are lotsa hijinks in the road to love for these two.
It is a well written and fun story and while Rhett is a jerk, he is a lovable jerk. Camilla is a great characters and I loved her a lot, though I would have enjoyed seeing her parents and where she came from more to see who she really was.
Rhett left his hometown and his family to pursue his dream of country music and he has seen the upside of fame but now he is about to experience the downside. It’s at this point when you realize who you can count on as when he needs help the most he gets it from the most unlikely source.
Camilla is a musician as well and the past that she and Rhett share is one of adversaries more than friends. She isn’t sure how he convinced her to help him, but she is about to realize that he is nothing like the man she thought he was.
Heartwarming and hot I loved the interactions between this couple and how they accepted each other for who they are, imperfections and all.
Otay y'all I gotta say I wasn't sure how I was gonna feel Rhett and he drove me bananas. Camilla and Rhett both have combative personalities and they love to mess with each other. It took me awhile to warm up these two working together. But Rhett really needs Camilla to help his image. These two have no trust or anything towards the other which is kinda essential when you gonna move foward. Camilla has her own stuff she's hiding and she's gotta decide if she can't trust Rhett with it. They have the connection and chemistry but can they make it all work?
I really enjoyed Rhett and Camilla's story, my only issue with the book is that Kellan and Sloan's daughter was called Sophia, but in a previous book her name was Chloe. Also, it was stated in this book that Kellan was the first of the boys to have a child, when Brax's son Madden is older than Kellan's daughter. Inconsistencies like that kept me from giving a five star rating, even though it didn't impact the main story which was great!
This book. I loved writing about Rhett and Camilla, and meshing in the rockstar persona of Rhett to the small town country boy he once was. Camilla is strong and works hard for everything in her life. If Rhett and Camilla are going to make it, they have to learn to work together... I hope you love this book as much as I did writing it.
