The author had me at “invite me in.” I was glued to the pages. Both, Catherine and Ronan had waited for the other without themselves or the other really knowing. Deep down they knew, but would they act on it?
They had met when Catherine still had some growing up to do. How easy is it to fall in love before we truly know someone? Sometimes our bodies don’t allow us to chose anything else. Our hearts wanting what they want. But, would that be enough?
This author changes the rich boy saves a girl. This time it’s a rich girl, no man could give her more than she could give herself. She’s likable because as we find out she doesn’t just have everything handed to her.
And Ronan is alpha hero all the way. Working to better himself and work up the ladder. But, why? What has been his driving force?
The author delivers a twist right when you think HEA is in view. I love how this author shows seemingly real issues and how her characters work through that, makes her stories come to life. And i love how she adds in her characters from her other stories because it’s a mini fan girl moment “Gray, i know him!”
An enjoyable quick read that might leave you wanting more because there are a few pages that will light a fire. But a lovely story of two people and how they find love.

I truly enjoyed this book for every irish loving second. I liked that we got a bit of Ronan's background and to see how he wanted better for himself than a life of crime. It's admirable to see a hero work to make himself better. he didn't want millions, but he wanted to earn his money honestly. I'd even like to see his MacNamara past and family, to know more of the family business and see his brothers.
the lie aspect was a subtle one and those end chapters were my favorite parts when Catherine discovered how much of Ronan she didn't know because that boy had been holding something back and it had alllll to do with her. oh, the lengths a hero will go for his true love. my heart went pitter patter, especially for the gorgeous epi. it left me so damn happy. Ronan is a true in love boy for anything his girl wants.
Brilliant as always. couldn't fault it.

Today I’m going to start with Naughty Irish Liar is another hit for V. Theia—no joke.

She is perfect for him and is not afraid to give it to him…pun intended. Most importantly, she is not afraid to follow her heart—eventually getting the man she loves.
Ronan the successful business owner, Irish bad boy, all alpha male who worked his way up the ladder. When he sees Catie again, he is both enthralled and annoyed or so he says…He is the true meaning of asshole, but you will love him right from the start. V warned us about Ronan, but I was still in awe of his assholiness (I just made that up)
From the moment I picked up the book, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I never know what I’m going to read on the next page are what foolishness Ronan is going to say or do or what is going to come out of Catie’s mouth. The chemistry between the two is 150 degrees…I can surely say that V delivered on Naughty Iris Liar…just as she promised.
Perfect couple, long-lasting love, attention-grabbing, and a plot twist at the end!!

Let me start with saying...where can I get a hot Irishman like Ronan??!!! This story blew me away! I loved these characters so much that they are ingrained in my heart forever. The story of Catherine and Ronan will most definitively pull at your heartstrings and give you all the feels you ever wanted. Catherine has loved Ronan since she was young, but because of that fact, they couldn't be together. Forward a few years and Catherine is determined to get her bad boy Irishman. When Ronan sees her again after all these years, he knows he wants her, but because of the past, he is hesitant. But Catherine pulls out all the stops and will do anything to get him to fall in love with her. I read this book in one sitting as I just couldn't put it down. It has humor, sadness, darkness, lust and love. And don't get me started on the chemistry between these two.....downright sizzling!!! And I loved how the author sprinkled a few things in the story to make you love it even more. Please do yourself a huge favor and read this incredible story! Happy St. Patrick's Day to all you lovers!!!

Ok so I'm going to start by saying that Ronan is legit the most assholish man there is and I could not have loved him more if I had tried!!! I honestly don't think I was prepared enough for this book and no warning would have helped me...lol.
I seriously could not put this book down, from the words "what kind of psychopath didn't have Snapchat." I knew I was going to love this book. Catherine is such an amazing spitfire that you can't help but love her and be jealous all at the same time. She is like my spirit animal and had me in tears of laughter from the get go. Ronan, if there was a perfect man out there, it would sooooo freaking be him! Like he is next level sexy, with the brooding and the caveman bullshit that I legit loved him from the first scowl.
This story is just amazing and had me all up in my feels, I laughed and cried and rubbed my thighs together because hot damn!!!!! Victoria did us good with those sexy times. So do yourself a favour and get some chocolate ice cream and enjoy all the spectacular that is Ronan and his Catherine!

This book, what can I say I LOVED it, Ronan and Catherine are electric together. They are what a couple should be protective, alluring and damn right filthy :). Loved all the nuances from Manhattan series my heart at the cameos. Lucky charms and all. I wonder are we going to see Ash and Cal soon? Come on let’s have them too. As always I am in awe of V’s words and again greedily cannot wait for more .

Dont think Ive come across a book written by this lady, that I havent loved.
Ronan and Catherine are a lovely couple. It was a little predictable her dad was in on the proposed relationship. Though I liked that he was willing to wait for her.
I think I would have enjoyed meeting Ronans family on the trip to Dublin. But thats the only complaint I would have.

I’m hooked!
This was my first book by this author and I must say that I’m hooked. I couldn’t have asked for more. A great match up of a sassy, bratty female who knows what she wants and a naughty Irish bad boy. I definitely didn’t see the little twist at the end.

Team Lie To Me MacNam
I completely adore an asshole hero who isn't truly an asshole. And Ronan MacNamara fit that bill perfectly. I loved all his gruff ways and how ultra possessive and jealous he was over our heroine Catie. She'd waited five years to grow up and face the man she loved on equal terms, having lied to him when she was 16 right before anything between them could heat up. Ronan said some harsh things in his anger and is completely thrown when Catie walks into his bar.
As the reader we are privy to how Ronan feels, the draw and pull he has to Catie is off the charts delicious. They have some amazing push/pull scenes where Ronan isn't all that nice, but we can see his longing for her. I loved that he was a liar!
“I love you.” I told him.
“Ahh, Catherine.” He kissed my lips once, twice and then a third time. A rakish grin on his face. “You have no choice in the matter now you’re mine. Liars do whatever they can to keep what is theirs. I intend to love you so hard, so long, that on any given day it’s a chore to crawl out from under my body to go about daily life.”
Great banter, hot, hot STEAMY HOT scenes. Seriously delicious dirty talk and a HEA that made me swoon.
What I love about VT books is she always gives the best epilogues and secondary characters who I need to see again. By the end I felt well and truly Intelluctually f*cked in all the best ways!!! Her words have a way of just making all mushy and feely.

Catherine has had enough of this situation. Five years have passed since she met the perfect man. She wasn't old enough to follow her heart and he crushed it under his shoe. She tried to forget him, to move on but the heart wants what it wants. Now she has a plan to get him to see her as a grown woman and that they are perfect together. Ronan might be a successful owner of three pubs in New York but that doesn't mean he has forgotten his past as a thief, a grifter. He didn't feel worthy of Catherine and when he found out she was too young, he reacted badly. Now she is in his pub and asking for a job. Still as sweet and now off the charts sexy, he knows this is a disaster waiting to happen. Can she worm her way into his bed and his heart or will Ronan push her away for good?

OFF THE FREAKING CHARTS CHEMISTRY!!
Some romance writers put sparkles in your eyes, make you heart burn with emotions and put a smile on your face.
There's no story this author hasn't done that she hasn't made wonderful!!
A simple Irish boy. A rich but not spoiled ginger girl ... a lot of chemistry, so much love, tons of snark with push/pull and the SPARKS FLEW!
God in heaven, this was another fantastic story. I swear from the get go I was loving Catie and her determination to get the man she wanted. She wasn't a wimp or a doormat, she called him on his asshole behavior all the while she loved him for every growly inch of him.
I was intrigued by the "lying" aspect of the storyline. Ronan played a blinder of a role and had me guessing until the last. I loved his reasoning behind his attitude, there's something nice about a hero wanting to be better to deserve the woman he loved. He's not perfect, and he doesn't claim to be, but he loved that ginger girl even when she was too young for him and he had to leave her behind.
Catie was a fun, steadfast girl. I'm glad she wasn't the typical rich brat who stomped and pouted and is usually a general bore to read. Theia's heroines are always well rounded, with flaws and issues, sure. but VERY LIKEABLE.
These two had so much heat my kindle caught fire. So damn hot and the things Ronan said... DAMN! He ought to come with a warning because he made my belly feel all funny. I loved that boy.
Some romance writers put sparkles in your eyes, make you heart burn with emotions and put a smile on your face.

God in heaven, this was another fantastic story. I swear from the get go I was loving Catie and her determination to get the man she wanted. She wasn't a wimp or a doormat, she called him on his asshole behavior all the while she loved him for every growly inch of him.

Oh, the luck of the Irish. Ronan could be an alien and I'd still kiss him because that dublin born boy was everything I crave in my heroes. Catie was fun and determined, fun loving and strong to deal with an asshole like Ronan. I wondered at times what she saw in him, but as she said the heart wants what the heart wants and she fell for him when she was 16. I'm always wary of time gaps between when the H/h last seen each other, but this author never includes OM/OW scenes so though we kinda know Ronan had flings, we don't get details. The moment Catie is on the page he is ALL. ABOUT. HIS. GINGER. GIRL.
His longing was palpable. Every word so damn good.
I'm beginning to believe this author could put together a grocery list and I'd ship it because her couples are THAT AMAZING.

Five years later, the mouthy, bratty red head storms back into his life ready to prove just how grown up she is. There is the slow burn, a scorching heat, flaring tempers and insatiable appetites that were soo arousing.
I loved the surprising twist towards the end and just how perfectly perfect these two were for each other. I need a filthy talking, lying Irishman like Ronan in my life!

This book was, as all of V. Theia's books are, amazing. The chemistry was off the charts. The storyline was epically delightful. Add in the fact you have a sexy bad boy who isn't entirely the asshole he acts like and a Heroine that is a headstrong redhead. I melted like butter. The words absorbed me like no other and I loved every minute of it. And once again I find myself speechless on how to describe the amazingness that is this book. I loved it so hard and was sad to see the last words on the page.

It's not often I fall in love with the heroine but Catherine Clemonte was my kinda gal. I loved everything about her, not least of her her determination to put her pride on the line to see if the attraction she felt ( and was felt back ) five years ago was still there, because she was fed up of dating and not feeling anything for them because she was still thinking about Ronan. She was so fun and I loved her thought process. A very well rounded not perfect but still relatable heroine!
The first half of this book was incredible. my favorite part in any romance is when the H/h meet and we get to witness their first reactions to each other. Because Ronan and Catie had an attraction already, they shared a forbidden kiss when Ronan worked for her father and Catie lied, being only 16 (Ronan was 21 ) he was super pissed at her, though he craved her mady before that. Their meet-up again was epic. he was all out of sorts seeing her again.
Spoiler alert. the second half was just as gloriously good!!
We get to know just how much Ronan was patient in hoping Catie didn't just have a teen crush on him but truly wanted him too. He had intentions of tracking her down when he thought she'd had enough years to grow up and deal with his asshole self (he's very aware he's not easy to deal with. LOVED THIS HERO QUALITY! like be an asshole, just be aware of it too lol ) God in heaven their longing and desire was off the scale hot.
I can't get enough of this authors books. more please.

Sweet holy hell
There is a reason I love this author and this book is just one reason why. She creates a story that becomes alive. From the first words, I become more than a spectator and actually become immersed in the story. Her characters breathe and become my friends. Everything about how she writes is sublime. Not only does she have a distinct cadence and tone but her stylistic choices and how she phrases certain things make my literature-loving heart smile with glee.
These characters were life. I laughed out loud more times than I could count and swooned the times I wasn't laughing. Ronan's mouth was to die for. Like, seriously, to die for. Add in the fact that I could hear is Irish brogue made it even hotter. Catie, is hands down my favorite character this author has written. Her sass and fiery attitude was perfect and fit being a ginger to a T. I loved that she kept him on his toes.
Now, the steam? Sweet holy titfire. Hell doesn't even compare to how hot these two are together. I thought I was having a hot flash a time or two. What a perfect book to celebrate St. Patrick's Day (which incidentally is today--fitting).
Highly recommend anything this author writes. If you only have time for one book by this author as everyone's TBR's are getting full and not everyone reads as fast as I do, then I would definitely say to read this one first. Definitely in the top books of 2019.

Oh my goshhhhhhh!!! Ronan and Catie were fantastic! Another favorite couple to add to my list.
One of the best heroes who isn't all that nice but secretly adores and worships the heroine so damn much that he's crawling out of his skin to be with her and love her. He waited so long for her to come back into his life and I lived and died for their every moment together.
it's not an angsty book and it's not filled with dark drama. But what it is, is a gorgeous read with chemistry out the wazoo!!
I already want to read again. And find out more about Ash and Cal and Gabby and Ronan's bad boy son!!

Theia is sooooooooooo good at telling stories between a couple. They're always character driven and I live for that. Strong, loveable characters who work to be with each other whatever the obstacle. Ronan and Catie were like this and their story is up there in my greats now. I would have even loved a longer story to see it develop a little slower but what we got was amazing and now I'd love to have Ash's book.
