The solar system is a battlefield. From Mars' red deserts to the steaming jungles of Venus, coFootballict rages. From the huge caverns of the Mercurian underworlds to the cold hells of the Asteroid Belt, battle lines are drawn. The five great megacorporations make war with each other. The fanatic soldiers of the Brotherhood clash with the undead warriors of the Dark Legion, who, in the name of their demonic masters, seek to conquer all who live. There is no peace. There are only small gaps between the wars, when the combatants seek to rebuild their strength before another cataclysmic clash with their eternal enemies.
Warzone is a two-player wargame set in the universe of Mutant Chronicles.

A truly rich and evocative miniature strategy game from the 90s. One could argue that, on some level, it's derivative of Warhammer 40k, especially the sort of undead interdimensional aliens of the Dark Symmetry. However, the whole world building, as created for the Mutant Chronicles RPG, draws on many sci-fi elements, from Odyssey 2001 to many dystopian / post-apocalyptic works where nations are no more and the whole Solar System is ruled by Mega-Corporations.
Add to that a number of amazing artists illustrating the books (such as legend Simon Bisley and other worthies like Paolo Parente, Alex Horley and Paul Bonner) and you have a game which could have made a significant mark, but sadly saw a premature end.
