CLAMP originally began in 1989 as a twelve-member dōjinshi circle, but by 1990, the circle had diminished from twelve to seven. Of the remaining seven, Tamayo Akiyama, Sei Nanao, and Leeza Sei left the group during the production of the RG Veda manga. Other former members of CLAMP also included Soushi Hishika, O-Kyon, Kazue Nakamori, Yuzuru Inoue and Shinya Ōmi. Currently, there are four members in the group.
In 2004, CLAMP's 15th anniversary as a mangaka group, the members changed their names from Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona Apapa, Mick Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi to Ageha Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi and Satsuki Igarashi (her name is pronounced the same, but written with different characters) respectively. The August 2004 issue of Newtype USA, a magazine specializing in events of the anime and manga subcultures, reported that the members of CLAMP simply wanted to try out new names. In a later interview with Ohkawa, it was revealed that initially Mokona wanted to drop her surname because it sounded too immature for her liking, while Nekoi disliked people commenting that her name was the same as Mick Jagger's. Ohkawa and Igarashi, wanting to go with the flow of Nekoi's and Mokona's name changes, changed their names as well.
In 2006, they made their first USA public debut at Anime Expo in Anaheim, California. They were well received at the convention, with 6,000 fans in attendance at their panel.

Este es mi todo favorito, el plot twist que ni es tanto eso se revela por fin.
Subaru tiene no un crecimiento como tal pero su personalidad si queda dañada después de la pérdida de las dos personas que más significan para él.
Aunque la historia de Subaru y Seishiro continúa en X el final de sus vidas ya está decidido.

Co to jest za zakończenie XD. Ja wiem, że Clamp lubi zaszaleć w końcówkach, ale tutaj to już przesadziły.

Un volumen mucho más emocional que los anteriores. Seishiro por fin revela su verdadera identidad a Subaru y éste sufre dicha traición a tal grado que su hermana gemela se sacrifica en pos de traerlo de vuelta a la realidad.
Si bien es cierto desde el inicio vimos que Seishiro tenía dos caras, creo que el único que no dudó de su bondad fue precisamente el joven heredero.
De nueva cuenta me sorprende que, para tener casi 30 años de haber sido publicado por primera vez, la historia toque abiertamente temas que no son para todo el público. Y claro, aunque el arte/estilo de los 90 nunca ha sido de mi agrado, si pude ver que los personajes crecieron bastante y entiendo por qué es una serie icónica de las CLAMP.

Dime que leíste las CLAMP sin decirme que leíste las CLAMP
Sí ya un mangaka me deja destrozada, ahora imaginen una historia con 4 mangakas.
Tocan temas muy crudos de una manera increíblemente dura y sin tapujos, con unos paneles hermosos. Los personajes perderán lo que más quieren y pagarán el precio.
Hay un hermoso árbol de cerezos.
La magia, mundos alternos, outfit increíbles..
Sí ya un mangaka me deja destrozada, ahora imaginen una historia con 4 mangakas.

En si a los 3 volúmenes que leí de todas los capítulos recopilados le doy 5 estrellas.
Amo el dolor retratado en cada cuadro, Subaru y Seishiro son una tragedia griega, el sentimiento que te provoca ver la relación entre ambos, el odio pero el amor de querer que funcione es lo que se puede definir como angst y yo vivo por las tragedias en mis historias ficticias. Me encantan.
Lo único es ese final, entiendo que todo continúa en x1999 y se como termina todo porque vi primero el anime. Pero me hubiera gustado que se reencontraran otra vez en esta historia.
No se si esto cuenta como spoiler )? -marca la casilla de spoilers-
En fin, me duele pero me encanta que Subaru se haya convertido es esa persona seria y misteriosa pero con un gran corazón en el futuro. Yo la más enamorada.
Fin de cumplir esta meta que tenía desde la secundaria, leer todos los tomos de Tokyo Babylon. 4 estrellas al tomo, 5 a la historia completa.

Que bonito esta todo. Toca temas fuertes con mucha sensibilidad. Me imagine un final distinto, pero me parece una buena obra, redonda y también buena revisitar. Geniales los dibujos y las escenas de acción.

Zakończenie poszło w bardzo dziwnym kierunku. Podobno kontynuacja wątków jest w "X", co by sporo wyjaśniało, bo to zakończenie w ogóle nie przypomina zakończenia 😅
