there is a turf war and he is sent in undercover so he can put an end to it all. he is welcomed like a hero. is he going back to his old ways? will he stop the war? will he be part of the war? will he put the past to rest finally? see what he will do.

The Stone Cold series just keeps getting better and better. It is always hard to give reviews to great books as one doesn't want to spoil the plot.
Harvey is sent in to stop a turf war and in doing so meats an old "friend" and gets some answers to questions not even asked.
I love Harvey Stone as a character and JD brings him to life in realistic detail.
Again this series would make great movies.

Are innocents collateral damage in these wars, or are there any "innocents"?

It is really a 5 star book, but no loose ends? Come on...

Harvey keeps the blood running hot and hotter in this book. Everything he has done has been leading up to the climactic finale.

But it isn't the end, just trying up for something new and possibly, if you ca.n imagine, better.

Good book

Read all of the books in order to really enjoy. Characters are realistic and get better and better. Storyline continues to grow and develop.
