This book is so much more than an Al Pacino biography. I found myself enjoying Ed's life story more than Al's. The authors tell both men's narratives in a succinct, page-turning style. I could not put this book down and finished it on a 6-hr plane ride. After reading it, I love Al Pacino more and wish I could have seen Ed De Leo rise to film stardom as well. An excellent slice of history, which captures a nuanced friendship and details the struggle and passion of actors. Highly recommend.
