Texas is book one in The Lost Boys MC series by Savannah Rylan. Savannah is a new to me author and as soon as I saw the cover of this book, I knew I had to read it.

Ella Watts older brother Stone is the President of the Lost Boys Motorcycle Club. Against her brother’s wishes, years before, she had married one of the club members, Jett. But Jett was an abusive husband. After years of torment, Ella leaves with her little girl, Keva. Once her brother learns of Jett’s actions, he is kicked out of the MC. But this doesn’t stop Jett from tormenting Ella any way he can, at work, at home. He still has visitation rights to Keva so Ella can’t get him out of her life.

sexy male biker

Texas Bronson is Vice President and also an enforcer with The Lost Boys. He is also best friends with Stone, the president. Stone knows Ella is struggling but she won’t confide in him so he asks Texas to move in next door to her so he can protect her.

Texas takes one look at Ella and knows he’s in big trouble. Ella hasn’t allowed herself to feel any attraction to a man since the end of her marriage two years before. But one look at Texas and she starts having thoughts she hasn’t had in a long time.

These two fight their attraction as much as they can. Stone is so protective of Ella. He would kill Texas in a heart beat if he thought he was even thinking about touching his sister. But, Jett has been amping up his threats to the family. Ella and Keva have to be protected and of course, Texas is all in with being the man to protect her. To protect what’s his.

his hands on her butt

Not only does Texas fall for Ella a little more every day, he also falls in love with little Keva. They were so adorable together. All the while, Stone is still whispering his threats in his ear if Texas so much as thinks about Ella.

motorcycle club in formation

I enjoyed this. It had a little bit of everything. I really liked Texas. I do wish he wouldn’t have been so divided between his loyalty to Stone and his feelings for Ella. There was no question as to how he felt. But I wanted him to be all in. Still, he was such a cool guy. He was this tough motorcycle club enforcer and can throw together a pesto sauce in a few minutes. This man can cook. And he thinks nothing of sitting on the floor having a tea party with a little four year old girl. Just adorable.

little girl having tea party with stuffed animals

This book had plenty of sexy, sizzling times, sweet times and some pretty suspenseful times. If you enjoy MC books, you should give this a try. The next book in the series is Stone. You can guess who that one is about.

‘…the head of this ‘organization’ of ours. Though, we used that term loosely. And interchanged it with ‘gang’ frequently.’
What? What MC would ever call themselves a ‘gang’?
Nah. I’m good.

This was a good read. I wasn’t completely in love but it was a good story all in all. An even keel read for me, kept my interest for the most part but just didn’t draw me in completely if that makes sense.

In this book, we have Texas, who is the VP of the Lost Boys MC group. The President of the Lost Boys, MC group, Stone asks Texas to live next door to his baby sister, Ella to watch over her, in case the ex-hubby Jett - also an ex- MC Member, comes to pay her any extra visits. Ella and Jett have a 4 yr old daughter, Keva, who doesn't realize she needs protection also.

Ella works as a cashier at the local grocery store. It seems that this is just a mind numbing job Ella has. Something just to pass the time and earn her some money.

While Texas is living next door to Ella, Stone told Texas that he was not to get involved with Ella, and he was to keep his mind and his hands to himself. After Texas steals his first kiss from Ella he walks out on her, he knows he can't keep his hands to himself, let alone his thoughts.

Texas and Ella have known each other a few years. However, their back story isn't explored / explained, of when / how they met, did they ever do any talking / or glances at each other.

I did receive a free ARC copy from the author. I am freely leaving an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a great start to this new MC series. The story line was very engaging. It has drama, twists, danger, suspense, action, passion, and lots of emotional turmoil. I thought Texas and Ella were wonderful characters. Their pull of attraction was easy to feel and their chemistry smoky. A really entertaining read. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

The writing wasn't bad and the story itself was ok but it just hit a couple of my buttons. Dude, man up, go for the girl, wimp. The just walking away was annoying. The brothers attitude at the end was such an abrupt change I got whiplash. The girl took him back that fast, I did not see him working for you at all. Such a disappointment at the end.

Many grammar mistakes...really not a fan of "you touch my sister you're dead" troupes...when I grew up with 2 older brothers, I dated their friends...this troupe is just so unrealistic to me..."But if you so much as lay a finger on my sister and I found out about it? You’re done. You're out of the crew, for starters. And you better make damn sure you know how to cover your tracks. Because I’ll come for you, too.”...what is he in love with his own sister, come on how pathetic...since when do sisters not get a love life...hell she's got a kid already...get over yourself Stone...weak ass man in my opinion

I enjoyed Tex's character and back story...I was able to connect with him...I really enjoyed their love story...my heart went out to Tex

Enjoyed the twist in the book...came out of left field...but again, we never got a backstory on the MC...but still enjoyed the shock value in it

I enjoyed it, several editing errors but didn't make the book hard to read.. Depending on the cost of the others I may read the next books. Would like to see how the characters pan out. Hopefully Boulder will return - over all a bit disjointed but I did enjoy it... not your typical MC story

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!

Texas
The Lost Boys MC, Book 1
By: Savannah Rylan
Narrated by: Beth Roeg, Tor Thom

I loved this book, Savannah Rylan is a “new to me” author and I was not familiar with her work, I am not only impressed by it but I am questioning why it took me so long. I enjoyed her writing style, the story she created is original with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Her characters are complex and nicely developed, they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. This is not your typical MC novel, it is so much more, while there is some insight given on the MC this story is more focused on the characters. I adored both lead characters, Ella, her brother, Stone, is the President of The Lost Boys MC, she was married to Jett, a fallen member of the club, he was thrown out for how he treated and hurt Ella. The club does not tolerate abuse against woman or children. Jett is still a thorn in Ella’s side so Stone assigns his friend and the VP of the MC. Texas, to watch over her. He moves into the the vacant house next to hers to make sure she and her daughter Keva are safe. Keva is just adorable, also loved Joanne, the woman who was like a mother/grandmother to Ella and Keva, she was a riot with her advice. Advice that included not giving up on love and going after the hotness that is in front of her, or rather next door to her. The chemistry between Ella and Texas is electric and undeniable but because of her brother she is off limits. But they can only deny each other for so long. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is well plotted and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, some angst, action, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, emotional and heartfelt moments and some hot romance. Savannah Rylan, thank you for this fantastic story and the emotional rollercoaster ride, I am looking forward to checking out more of your work.

I listened to the Audible edition, Beth Roeg and Tor Thom are wonderful narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life, give each their own voice and personality as well as heart and attitude. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, Beth Roeg perfected Ella’s roles, grasping her persona to the tee, she was great with Keva and Jonanne roles too. Tor Thom’s Texas was perfection too, he brought out both is soft side and his alpha-tude his Stone was awesome too. They are entertaining storytellers and their talent is reflected in their amazing performance. Thank you for this fantastic listen, it was a pleasure to listen to.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the first book in a new series called The Lost Boys MC. In this book, Ella is a divorced mother of Keva and the sister of the president of the Lost Boys MC, Stone. Ella's ex-husband Jett was a member of the MC until they found out he was abusive and they kicked him out. Now Jett is harassing Ella and threatening her again. Stone gets him VP Texas to move in next door to Ella to watch over her and her daughter. Ella doesn't want to be babysat, but when Jett becomes even more threatening, she agrees. Texas is very attracted to Ella, but knows Stone will kill him if he tries anything with her. Ella is attracted to Texas and when she invites him over for dinner, he can't fight it anymore. They begin seeing each other in secret while Texas watches Ella and Keva. When Texas learns there is more to Jett's plan, he knows he needs the rest of the MC to help keep them safe. I really loved this story. I loved Texas and thought he was a great guy. I loved how he was with Keva and loved her like she was his own. I think Stone was a little too overprotective of Ella, he had to realize she was an adult, but i understood him wanting to keep her safe. I think Texas and Ella were great together and i think Texas deserved a family of his own. Great start to a new series.

This fast paced story had everything a MC book should have as we are introduced to sexy, warm hearted Texas VP of the Lost Boys MC . This is absolutely a great start to Savannah’s new MC Series - The Lost Boys MC. Every story I have read by Savannah is an amazing story about a sexy MC member and the woman who steals his heart. This 1st story brings us Ella, her precious little girl, Keva along with Ella’s brother, Stone the President and his VP-Enforcer, Texas. Stone orders Texas to move into the empty house next to Ella to keep her safe from her ex, Jett who is also an ex member of the MC as his goal is to torture and harass Ella and to get Keva away from her. Ella left Jett due to his physical abuse and once Stone found out he has run interference ever since to ensure it does not go further. Stone has made several comments about Texas keeping his relationship with Ella only business but once the attraction between these two gets to a boiling point do they experience what it really means to be with the one for you. I loved the journey they take and how Stone ends up reacting to their love. Once Jett takes things too far the MC goes off to make things right again but in the end they find out they had an undercover cop in their ranks!! I can not wait to see what the MC does next to make sure they can survive this surprise. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book

Texas
The Lost Boys MC, Book 1
By: Savannah Rylan
Narrated by: Beth Roeg, Tor Thom

This is my first Savannah Rylan book, and it will not be my last. Not because it is an MC book and I love the trope, but because she can write! Ella is under the protection of her brother, Stone's, MC. Her ex, Jett is abusive and dangerous, and Stone has Texas, his vice president watching out for her and his niece Keva. But there is more she needs protection from. Her heart is in danger with Texas around. The chemistry these two have is off the charts. Being off limits makes it that much harder for the two and as Jett becomes more of a threat, her life and Keva's is priority. So, what will happen when Stone finds out about the two? And what happens with Jett? Give this a listen. You will enjoy a smartly written story, with fantastic characters and a tea party you surely do not want to miss.

Beth Roeg and Tor Thom bring this gem to life. I loved this team because they truly fit the characters. Roeg has a confidence in her voice as Ella, yet she holds a vulnerability too. Thom as the alpha, Texas always brings an air of command in his performance, yet he has the teddy bear effect when it comes to his women. I love these two, and really enjoyed their portrayal of the story.

Style: MC Romance
Story: 4/5
Sexual: SEX-CITINGLY GOOD
Enjoyment: 3/5
Series: Book 1

I didn’t think I would like this story, but I did. I think Texas was a total package. I feel wired describing a MC member as sweet because that’s what I thought of Texas. A mix with bad boy and the guy next door-ish. Ella, Jett totally messed her up. It was hard reading how she thought of her self with the way he treats her. So seeing her and Texas love blossom was good.

There was a bit of action, so I enjoyed that. The only thing that disappointed me a tiny bit, I don’t really get a MC feel majority of the time. You also get to see limited club members. Majority of the scenes where at Ella’s and Texas’s houses. So I feel that took away from the MC feel, even with Ella being Stone’s sister I thought she would frequent the club sometimes.

Overall, I still pleasantly enjoyed this book and definitely want to read the next book in the series. It’s 187 pages so so it moves along quickly.

***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s definitely about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the stories you read. I hope this review was helpful.

Wow! An exciting start to a new series!

Texas is VP of The Lost Boys MC and is tasked with watching the president’s, who also happens to be his best friend, little sister Ella. Ella is strong-willed and resistant to having anyone watching over her and her daughter Keva but Texas somehow finds a way to have her come round. Having watched her go through hell with her past relationship he can’t help but get closer to her as time passes by and the feelings he has kept at bay all this time are becoming harder to resist.

Ella does not need or want anyone to be watching out for her but when her abusive ex keeps showing up out of the blue, her whole world is shaken and she realises she needs Texas more than ever before. It doesn’t help that he is as handsome as sin and can also cook, so when her feelings come to light she can’t help but act on it.

As the threats become more and more serious, Texas will stop at nothing to keep them both safe but at what cost?

This is a great read and a thrilling start to a new series!

Yes a whole new MC series from the queen of writing MC's and you won't be disappointed with this latest offering from Savannah Rylan There is everything that you could possible want there is plenty of suspense and drama and enough steam and romance to keep you satisfied

Ella has finally got away from her ex and with her daughter she is trying to build a new life away from Jet her ex who was member of The Lost Boys MC. Ella's brother is Stone he is the President of The Lost Boys and ever since he found out his sister was been abused by Jet he has been trying to protect her and his latest plan is to move his Vice President and chief enforcer into the empty house next to her. Texas has been told by his President that he is to protect his sister but he isn't to get involved with her in any way but as he falls in love with not only Ella but her daughter Keva will he use his head and obey his president or will he let his heart decide what it wants. Another wonderful start to a series as always and now I will be hanging out for the next book

Ella is recently divorced after an awful marriage, but when she got the chance to leave Jett with her daughter, she took it. But when Ella's brother Stone, the President of the Lost Boys, realizes what Jett put his sister through, he kicks him out of the MC and hopes he leaves her alone. But to be sure, he puts Texas, his VP, Enforcer and best friend, in charge of keeping his sister safe by moving him in next door. Ella finds it hard to concentrate with Texas being so close, off limits and so damn sexy!!! Is he really off limits?

Texas is doing the MC and Stone a favor, but when he realizes that Jett is dangerous to both Ella and Keva, he inserts himself into Ella's life as much as possible, but when they get close, will Texas back off or will Ella back off?

This is the start of the series and so, so good! There is so much happening that you are cheering for Ella and Texas as well as Keva!! But will Stone get in the way of happiness? I can't wait for more from the series! I received an ARC of this book from the author.

Texas- Savannah Rylan. Triggers: domestic abuse, corrupt cops and justice system, kidnapping, hostage situation. Texas & Ella: My first issue, what is Texas' real name? It's never addressed and I would say that if you're gonna be in a relationship with someone, it could be nice to know their real name. Also it sounds really weird to hear "Texas!" In the heat of the moment during the very hot sex scenes. 🤦🏾‍♀️. Besides that, I did really like this book. I love Texas and wanted to give him a huge hug after hearing his back story. Texas is a member and VP of the lost boys MC. Ella is recently divorced from her abusive husband and just trying to get by and take care of her daughter. Only her ex is not doing with her. So Texas is sent to live in the house next door and keep an eye on her. These two are explosive and hot! But since she's his best friend's and president's sister he has to try to keep his distance. So much drama, there's always something going on in the book and the neighbor is hilarious. Really good start to the series.

CW: Abuse

I enjoyed the story with this book

Ella's brother threatening to kill anyone who went around her like that was really weird and the fact that he let both of them stew in unhappiness for a month is cruel. I understand he had regrets about letting her marry Jett but keeping her unhappy because of those regrets is B.S. I also think that Texas needed to grovel a whole lot more. He did next to none and Ella deserved so much more.

As a heads up, the dirty talk in these sex scenes is freaking hilarious. Maybe it was just the audiobook narrators but even the characters seemed uncomfortable saying it, which made me laugh even more.

A New MC Series that’s Definitely off to a Delicious Start.
Texas, by Savannah Rylan is her new MC Series called The Lost Boys MC. Texas is the VP/Enforcer of this club. He is charged with protecting the club president’s sister, Ella and her young daughter, Keva against her ex-husband and former club member, Jett. While on assignment in her house, Texas and Ella develop a strong attraction for each other but Stone, the President has given Texas the talk of not getting emotionally involved. So, will Texas listen with his head or his heart?
This author is so gifted at writing this and other MC Series. Her characters are unique and have interesting backstories. Her scenes often grip you unexpectedly, reminding you once again why this author deserves five stars.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure.
I am leaving this review for your consideration. Peace.

I'm thrilled that Savannah is giving us a new MC series. This is a fantastic start with Texas and Ella's story.
Texas is the VP and Ella is the President's little sister, who is also Texas' best friend.
Texas is asked to watch over her since her ex is harassing her.
Texas is a great character. He is strong and a protector by nature. His loyalty to his brother runs deep. But he has a soft side - he can cook and the way he plays dolls with Keva will melt your heart.
Ella is a strong female character who married the wrong guy and now can't get anyone in authority to listen to her to protect her daughter and herself from him. She doesn't want pity she wants to be strong and take care of her and her daughter.
The story flows nicely and there are a few surprises that will lead to topics in future books I'm sure.
Can't wait for Stone's book.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.

Ella is struggling to keep it together after leaving her abusive ex-husband. He won't stop harassing her and is worried for her daughter, Keva's safety. Texas is in a MC with Ella's brother, Stone. Stone asks Texas to move in next door and keep an eye on Ella and Keva with strict instructions not to touch. The problem with looking over Ella and Keva is that they end up spending a lot of time together getting to know one another better. Texas not only falls for Ella but also falls in love with Keva.

I enjoyed this book but I didn't love it and I can't put my finger on why that is. While I enjoyed the development of Texas and Ella's relationship, it just didn't captivate me like other MC books have. It was adorable and heart warming to see Texas and Keva interact and I really enjoyed the suspense aspect of this one but just didn't sing to me. However, I have not given up on the series and I will give Stone's book a shot.
