About the author

My name is Miki Ward. I like to build people up, and so do my characters, even amid violence and bloodshed - don't worry its fiction. I'm the author of The Phantom Queen among other works. My books are reverse harem, myths, urban fantasy, and paranormal romance for readers who crave a few extra men in relationships, not just one poor pitiful partner. My stories include not just sexual tension but fire. Some are burn in your spirit hot, some are slow burn, and one I call sweet and clean. I co-write with my brother... yes, think about that, it's crazy! I also have written with KA Morse and have a WIP with her about a manic multi-personality demon infested wizard. This is a very well written book! The plot thickens quickly and keeps you at the edge of your see. A great look in to the Morrigan that we don’t normally see. Very good!

I love Rigan! And not just because I’ve always loved anything that has to do with the Morrigan. Ward did an amazing job with this story, I loved how all the pieces come together, all the characters are fantastic, the shifting, dramatics of the Gods/Goddesses are perfection, the steam level 🔥 is awesome and every bit of detailed description put into the story is vivid and entertaining. I loved this read and hope that they consider writing more about these characters and their world in the future.

My heart is still racing from reading this. The emotions and battle Rigan goes through for everything, well, its beyond words. Yet she never gives up or changes who she is. She's loyal, brave, fierce and fiercely protective of those she deems hers. That's not just her men, but her people, lands and all that it encompasses. You never really see any stories on the Morrigan and this is one without a doubt that needs to be read.

Phantom Queen and her gods

I read this in less than a day. The enchantment of the gods and goddesses snagged me immediately. That ending was 💯 perfect. Rigan, goddess of death, goddess of the Forrest. Dagda the sexy king of Faerie, MAC god of the sea, Bran the Raven king. This was one of my favorite stories I’ve read this year. RH with a HEA.

I loved Miki Ward's take on the Morrigan. In most of the books that I have read, the Morrigan is a bad person, but she deserved to have her story told from her point of view.

The Phantom Queen by Miki Ward is a great story to read. This story has romance , drama, violence and graphic sex scenes so if this is your type of story then I highly recommend this story for you. I really enjiyed reading this story.

What another great and unique read by this author. The Phantom Queen has so many twists and turns, and "I did not see that coming" moments. I was on my toes throughout the entire read, which by the way I could not put down. I do not want to give any spoilers, because honestly its best to go in not knowing what to expect, except that it is a great read.
The characters are well developed and well thought out. Very likable, and will have you rooting for the female lead and her men from the start. The story itself is very addicting. The author does an excellent job of weaving an intriguing web, that hooks you. Overall, this story is excellent, and if you are just looking for a good book to sit down with and enjoy, this is the book for you.

I loved it!!! The characters were so well written and the conversation between were something of the time it was written about with a bit of today in it. Rigan was a strong Alpha female along with her lovers they made an unstoppable team. Through the chaos that ensued, the battles that were fought, they never lost sight of what was important. Truly a great book.

This book was awesome!
So many twists and turns so many surprises hidden within this story that I was kept in suspense the whole time I was reading this book.
Miki Ward is an amazing story weaver and I am definitely looking forward to reading more of her books!
So it’s going to be a big HECK YEAH I most definitely do recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an amazing story to climb into and get completely lost within its pages!

This is a fun fantasy! I like Miki Ward’s take on the mythology of Ireland. Not your typical spin, but with enough commonality to the myths to make it really intriguing. The protagonist loves her people and kicks the you-know-what out of those who would hurt them. She is one very impulsive shapeshifter. Way to go Mor-Rigan! Plenty of action, gods, goddesses, witches, demons and much, much more! The Phantom Queen flowed well. I loved it from start to finish!
