Bread Baking For Beginners by Dorit Griffin
Book starts with a table of contents where different breads have their own chapters.
Intro talks about how this book will help if, being a newbie to baking bread.
Another chapter tives you gudelines for items wyou will need along with basic steps, kneading, removing the bread.
there are few color photos. Each recipe starts with a title, servings, cooking time. List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low sugar and low fat products.
Prep steps are included.
Confusing with some recipes as it never tells you how long to let eh bread sit or how long to cook it before it starts into another recipe.
Some recipes also have a medium color photo. There is NO nutritional information.
Each recipe does NOT start at the top of a new page.
Some ingredients you may find hard to locate at the store: tapoica flour, ptoato starch, xanthan gum, and za'atar.
Pumpkin muffins would be my choice to try. Would like to also try the pita bread as we do use it quite a bit.
Includes an index for the recipes at the end by chapter-not page numbers.
