It’s like Twilight Zone for kids! Actually, this story is similar to an episode of the 1980s TV show Amazing Stories (but this book isn’t a copy of that story). Nonetheless, this book was fun for both my kids.

The art and text were fun and told an engaging tale!

We like timeless stories. Stories that could have been written 50 years ago or yesterday. The dreamy illustrations were a plus so this little book has earned its place on our shelf and won't be passed on along with the toys my boys outgrow

Children live on a farm with an old railroad cottage and lost unused tracks...or are they unused? They imagine that they see steam trains of yesteryear thundering down the tracks. Written in a way that younger readers aren't sure if it's real or imagined.
