Erick is a Mer and Krissy is a human. If they fall in love Erick loses his immortality. He thinks if they are involved in a ménage, he won’t fall in love. The story also includes an arson, attempted murder, and deception which isn’t resolved in this book. Perhaps in the next.

I have read a lot of these types of books lately and honestly found this one to be refreshingly different. Her writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created.
Her descriptions of the characters abilities are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

This was a good steamy read and I really enjoyed it. It is the second book in the series but is the first one I have read and I cannot wait to go try Hook. This is Erik and Krissy's story he is a Mer and immortal and she is human if he falls in love with her he will become mortal so he decides the best move is to stick with Mer ways and add a third to the relationship. This was a good steamy read and I really enjoyed it.

Eric is a Werman posing as a lifeguard . Krissy just shed her selfish boyfriend and isn't looking for anything thinking great isn't out there. Until she meets Eric but Eric is hiding his real self and laws of the Mer be damned he doesn't want to share Krissy with anyone his cost to keep the human is be human.

Laney Kaye's books are fast becoming my new obsession...making me want to constantly stalk Miss Kaye's FB and keep track of what she is writing next. Especially in these Lure Of The Mer stories.

In Line we get Erik's story and it was really exceptional. As he starts to fall for Krissy, Erik tries so hard to stick to mer ways and adds a third person to the mix. It sure did add some sizzling spice to the mix and as the story progresses so does Erik's feelings for Krissy. I loved feeling like I was part of their romance. It was a slow, sweet, push and pull romance with so many feels and sinful heat. It was both decadent and compelling. It was unforgettable and even better than Hook! I do hope there are more in this series because I am ADDICTED!
