Not really what I was expecting but...

This book.was really not what I was expecting at all based on the title. I expected more leadership focus but it was process improvement focused. I am not saying that is a bad thing just that the title is misleading. I am a fan of process improvement and this was a really good refresher on the tools of Lean. I enjoyed the book.and will reccomend it to my team.

This is an excellent quick read for anyone looking to lead from where they're at. This is a book that employees will come back to time and time again. I picked up the book as I am always looking for tools to provide employees a different way to look at their future (horizontal growth). This book is one of those tools! The book provides practical tips broken down with great diagrams and charts. In addition, at the end of the book, it gives you an opportunity to download some of the templates. I highly recommend all HR professionals have this book in their library for their employees!

This is an elementary level business/leadership book. However, I should suspend judgment because I teach this material at university level. I highly recommend this book to people needing and introduction or refresher in business and/or leadership 101.
