I found this one more enjoyable than the first. Full of action, everything you'd want from a men's adventure/vigilante story. With a little nod/Easter egg to "The Executioner series" if you're a fan of these types of stories I would definitely recommend picking this one up.

The Specialist takes on a New York street gang lead by an ex nazi. To complicate matters there is another gang running drugs and a female P.I. crashing The Specialists war on crime. This one is sort of like Death Wish 3. I loved that movie. This is a great series.

This is the second book in the series by this author, who was new to me. I seldom write a review, especially one that is a derogatory one. After all, the author has worked, sometimes, for months producing this work and who am I to critique his work product. BUT, this was just awful. The author's protagonist is a cliche...bad guys tried to kill him but his wife died instead, he is a killer for hire but he only kills those who deserve it, he has been trained to ignore pain, hunger, thirst, etc, all while laying waste to dozens of enemies. Sound like any one of a dozen heros in current books of this genre? A single thing repeated in this book that drove me nuts. The word "corner" was, without a single break , written as "comer". Don't know if the editor is a foreigner and thinks that is a word, or if he actually saw the"m" as "rn" or what the problem is but it needs to be corrected. His protagonist also needs to be developed a great deal more. I am sorry to say I feel this, as well as the first book, mediocre, at best.

Constant action
Second book about thee mercenary/vigilante who only takes work where he is certain the people he has to kill are truly evil. plenty of action which keeps the story line moving quickly. Interesting little quirk throughout is that every word that has the letters r and n consecutively has been typed with m instead so for example corner becomes comer, burn become bum, torn become tom, etc.

I preferred this to the first in the series. It's still a little too unbelievable but it's pretty nail-biting stuff. Sullivan is commissioned to take down a sex-slave ring ran by a nasty sounding husband and wife team, protected by a street gang charmingly called the "Meatheads". Sullivan is tasked with taking out as many Meatheads as he can during the mission. Yet again he follows his mantra of only killing those who truly deserve to be killed...

Good writing bad editing.
I would have rated this book 4 maybe 5 stars if I didn't have to constantly stop and figure out what the words were. Corner is not spelled comer and that is only a a small sample of the editing errors. If the first book had been this way I would have not read the second.

A fantastic suspense
This was another action packed, suspenseful, and intriguing story with many unexpected twists that you won't want to miss. It would be great to have a person like Jack Sullivan to take out the evil in the world, but I digress.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

I bought the series of these books and am delighted to say that it was a good purchase.
The main character is larger than life and all too human. The supporting characters and settings addgood depth to the storyline, and the whole work moves along at a cracking pace.
Very quick and easy to read, and great holiday or flying material!

Great action but needs work
The action and story plot is very good however the amount of errors is overwhelming taking away from the story. I would strongly recommend the author have an editor to help, going forward.

Love the specialist
Once again Cutter has brought to life a great central character surrounded by both likeable and detestable support actors. Enjoyable read and it makes me reach for the next one.

Can't put it down. Good characters liked Malta and all the weapons he can get his hands on when he needs to.

Spelling
I wonder if the author even graduated from high school. Spelling was atrocious. Plus, the book just bounced around all over the place. Glad I didn't pay for it.

Spelling
Loved the story line and the characters. Really put off by the word corner being replaced by "comer" distracted me the entire book. Otherwise, great read.

Book 1 was better
Story was great, but the editing was horrible. Mis spelled words and other editing mistakes. Hard to make corrections on a Kindle. Will see what book 3 is like.

Good book
Read all of the books in order to really enjoy. Storyline continues to grow and develop. Characters are realistic and get better and better.

Lots of fast paced action. Author could really use a better editing person. Everywhere it was meant to say corner it said comer. I'm pretty sure comer wasn't correct.
