In the times when every person you see is blaming Shri Jawaharlal Nehru,the first prime minister of this great nation for every single issue, courtesy all the fake news fed to them via WhatsApp messages,Facebook posts and some overtime work of a sponsored troll army. This book comes as a relief. Author Mr. Piyush Babele has done a great job of writing this book after some deep research on the Man and his time and work.
The book covers most of the topics that are being talked of these days from Nehru-Gandhi, Nehru-Sardar, Nehru-Netaji, and many others.
So I humbly request each and everyone, including all the graduates of Whatsapp University(I heard this term and about this book through Mr. Ravish Kumar)and Facebook posts and memes,please do yourself a favour,read this book and get to know something about the Man.
The book is in Hindi, the proponents of Hindi won't have any say (like why read a foreign language). So no such reasons to deny this book a read.

This book is a tight slap to all those persons who knowingly derogate former prime minister Nehru under a propoganda for there political gain n doesn't even think about whom they talk about. For me it's a must read book in today's time. Hats off to the author Piyush babele.

Very informative book about Nehru which young generation should read. Nehru's writings are spread over thousands of pages. Not everyone has time to go through them. This book presents those passages which are relevant to contamporary debate about Nehru.

नेहरू अपनी मृत्यु के 56 साल बाद भी बहुचर्चित नेता हैं, आज तक भारत का कोई ऐसा प्रधानमंत्री नहीं हुआ जिसके कामो का विश्लेषण और आलोचना इतने लम्बे समय तक और इतनी गहराई से हुई हो। उनके जीवन से जुड़े कुछ तथ्यों को तोड़मरोड़कर पेश किया जाता है और कुछ ऐसी बातों और कामो के लिए उनकी निंदा होती है जो उन्होंने किये ही नहीं। आज की पीढ़ी या तो नेहरू को प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री से आगे जानती नहीं है या इन झूठों के आधार पर वो ऐसे नेहरू को जानती है जो विलासी, हिन्दू विरोधी, डरपोक या यूँ कहें की वो भारत के प्रधानमंत्री पद के लायक नहीं थे। नेहरू के बारे में ये झूठ एक राजनीतिक साजिश के तहत फैलाये गए और इनको आज की पीढ़ी के दिलो दिमाग से हटाना बहुत जरुरी है।लेकिन ये काम सच्चाई की कसौटी पर ही होना चाहिए।
पियूष बबेले जी की ये किताब इसी दिशा में एक कदम है, यह किताब प्रकाश डालती है उन कई मुद्दों पर जिनको लेकर ये प्रचार चलाया जाता है, जैसे राष्ट्रगान, धारा 370 , कश्मीर समस्या, मिश्रित अर्थव्यवस्था आदि। यह पुस्तक उन समकालीन व्यक्तित्वों जैसे सुभाष चंद्र बोस, भगत सिंह और सरदार पटेल के साथ नेहरू के रिश्ते और उनके बारे में नेहरू के विचारो के बारे में भी लिखती है।
इस पुस्तक की विशेषता है कि लेखक ने अपने निजी विचारो को काफी हद तक दूर रखने की कोशिश की है और लगभग सभी बातें पत्रों, भाषणों के आधार पर तथ्यों के साथ राखी गयी हैं। यह पुस्तक इतिहास और राजनीति में रूचि रखने वालों के लिए एक उपहार है।

One word : Chacha Nehru.
He built our country in the manner of a loving uncle helping to build the foundation house and thus a forming a strong family. He truly built our nation.

He build nation with his unmatched intellect and limited resource he inherited. Everything at that time were wisely used by him. He was given a complex problem with multiple facets like low budget, the cross border issues he fathomed, his agreement/disagreement with other leaders of his time (its a good thing to have disagreement), the vision he had, his scientific temper, his schemes, his inspiration from contemporary events, his understanding of history and its impact on world politics. He did a great job.

Over all a great book, somehow I feel Nehru is part of our legacy. He was way ahead of his time. His visionary scientific temper is what we need as a country.

A must read complementary book along with History of Modern India, India after Gandhi.
