About the author

Francisco de Paula Cândido Xavier, popularly known as Chico Xavier was a popular "medium" in Brazil's Spiritism movement and wrote 412 books through a process known as psychography.
The profits of his books were all donated into charity work.

He influenced the establishment of Kardecist Spiritism as one of the religions professed in Brazil.

In 1981 and 1982, Chico Xavier was nominated for the Nobel peace prize and on October 3, 2012, was named as "The Greatest Brazilian of all time" by one of the biggest brazilian television channel (SBT), based on a viewer-supported survey.

Caminho, Verdade e Vida, de Francisco Cândido Xavier, pelo espírito de Emmanuel, é, sem sombra de dúvidas, o meu livro favorito da coleção Fonte Viva. É uma daquelas obras que a gente lê e sente que sempre tem algo novo para aprender, mesmo quando volta a um texto já conhecido.

O livro traz reflexões baseadas nos ensinamentos de Jesus e, através das mensagens de Emmanuel, nos convida a olhar para a vida, para nossas escolhas e para nossa maneira de agir com mais fé e consciência. São textos que parecem simples à primeira vista, mas que carregam ensinamentos muito profundos e que fazem a gente refletir bastante.

É uma leitura que gosto de fazer com calma, porque muitas vezes uma única mensagem já é suficiente para nos fazer pensar durante o dia. É também daqueles livros que dá vontade de ter sempre por perto e consultar em diferentes momentos da vida.

Com certeza, foi uma das obras que mais me marcou dentro da Doutrina Espírita e, entre os livros da coleção Fonte Viva, é o meu favorito. ❤️
