Some rules are meant to be broken.

New York Times and USA Today Best Seller L. Wilder brings readers a new addition to the Satan's Fury Memphis series.

Murphy's Law- Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

As Satan's Fury's sergeant-at-arms, it was my job to stay one step ahead. It was up to me to make sure the club was ready when things went awry. I had to anticipate our enemies' every move and plan accordingly. I couldn't let Murphy's Law bite me in the a**, so I created a set of rules to follow.

* The club comes first.
* Always have your brother's back.
* Don't make promises you can't keep.
* Don't buy into other people's bullsh*t.
* Never let your emotions rule you.

I thought they'd prepare me for anything, but I was wrong. Nothing could've prepared me for Riley Nichols--the farmer's daughter with coal-black eyes and a fiery tongue. She took me by surprise, mesmerizing me with her strength and tempting me with her innocence.

I wanted to make her mine, but having her meant breaking my rules--every last one of them.

Murphy is book four of the Satan's Fury MC- Memphis Chapter. While this book is a continuation of Riggs, Book 3 in the Satan's Fury Memphis series, it can be read as a standalone. Murphy is a full-length novel that is intended for mature audiences only due to the explicit language and violence. Contains no cheating and a swoon-worthy HEA.

I love everything L. Wilder. But I adored Murphy. Murphy was such a sweet guy who had a lot of headache in his life. But one look at Reily and his life is about to change

Murphy was the fourth book in L Wilder’s Satan’s Fury MC - Memphis series. We met Murphy in previous books of the series.

Murphy was the MC Sergeant at Arms. He was nicknamed based on his meticulous planning skills for covering all bases and expecting Murphy’s Law at every turn. He was a skeptic and didn’t believe in true love. He’d been gutted and would never put himself in a vulnerable position again. But when he met Riley, he knew his life long rules were about to be tested.

Riley Nichols was the daughter of a horse farmer. She was beautiful, a student and loyal to her family. She was also clueless to the finances of her family’s farm until she stumbled upon some unexpected visitors.

I loved both Murphy and Riley. I also loved the suspenseful plot and the bonding within the MC. The events were captivating, yet not over the top. Wilder had me hooked from beginning to end. All in all, it was another engaging and entertaining addition to the series. I can’t wait to see where Wilder leads us next.

Oh how I love this author and this series:) Absolutely FLOVED BOTH Riley and Murphy, they were PERFECT together! My only minor issue is that I wanted so much more time with them together. The storyline was great but too rushed. The ending and then the epilogue was a pretty big time frame and although I loved seeing where they were in the future I would have loved more in between because they were a GREAT couple:)

Now, I DO HOPE and PRAY that we get stories on her cousins, her brother and heck....maybe Travis too!!!! Loved all of it with the exception of feeling to rushed at end and not enough time seeing them as a couple but all in all a perfect swoony read!

Murphy is the newest book in the Satan's Fury MC: Memphis series and as with every one of this author's books so far, I loved what I just read. From the main and secondary characters to the quick moving and entertaining plot to all the feels it evoked. It all combined to make a story that I blew through in a few hours because I didn't want to put it down.

Murphy and Riley's first meeting was pretty typical but their second meeting was anything but. Riley was a really interesting character with layers that might seem contradictory but as you get to know her and the way she thinks, she makes sense. Murphy was a really good guy. Even when you know he was doing criminal things, his loyalty and dedication to the club and his interactions with Riley made it clear he was a good guy at heart.

Getting to check back in with characters from previous books is always a plus for me. And now I get the excitement of wondering which MC member will find love next. I will be reading it as soon as possible because L. Wilder just writes books I want to read.

I'm not even surprised at this point anymore. Each member of Satans Fury wins my heart. I may as well open my own club aka harem for these guys. Lol.
Murphy was perfection. He was loyal, cavemen, caring and so bloody loveable. I can't even.
Grab this precious now. And be glad I'm sharing him with you. Lol.

The story with the main characters Lincoln "Murphy" and Riley does not start until 30%. The first part of the book is about Reece and Tate (characters from the previous book). I thought this was a standalone, but it appears that the first 28% was finishing the story/case of Reece and Tate. I did not know who this couple was and I did not care since I did not read the other books. Nonetheless, by the time I got to 30%, I was tired of reading about other people. I am not sure why the author did this. Maybe to show what the motorcycle club was involved in. That could have been done in 2 pages, not 30% of the book!

This story is pretty simple. Murphy had a tough childhood. He loved a girl and then joined the military. When he came back to propose to the girl, he found her sleeping with another man. Murphy swore he would never open up and love another person. Riley's mom just died of cancer. She lives on the farm with her father and brother. The farm is struggling, plus the family has medical bills from her mother's treatments. Riley finds out one day that her father is selling firearms to bikers and gangs and that is how she meets Murphy. Murphy and Riley have an instant connection. Friendship that leads to more. Murphy pulls away for a little bit (2 pages) when he thinks that he can't have a relationship that will lead to love, etc. However, Riley calls him while she is drunk, he goes to the bar she is at, and from there they find that they can't be apart.

This is somewhat of a lite biker book with a hero that is not a man whore. Murphy is protective of Riley, but there is no extreme J/P behavior. The angst is mild.

My issue is with the writing. I did not feel a strong connection for any of the characters. The premise was good, but the execution was weak. The writing just felt like words on paper with no emotion. I love biker books where the heroine is a good girl and working hard to protect her family, but as I said the execution was weak.

This is my opinion. Reading is subjective.

Amazing Read!!

I’ve always loved Leslie Wilder’s books—each and every one of them. This series, Satan’s Fury MC-Memphis, is a spinoff that takes us across the country from Cotton, Stitch, and the rest of the Washington State chapter to another Satan’s Fury chapter located in, well, Memphis, Tennessee. Murphy is the fourth installment and it ROCKS!

First of all, let me just say that Leslie Wilder doesn’t sugarcoat anything in this spinoff series. Each installment is raw, has a bit more violence, and is sexy-as-hell with one common denominator: don’t f%#k with Satan’s Fury and those they love. The outlaw MC life is a tough one, and there’s a reason the Fury reign supreme in the South.

Murphy is the Memphis chapter’s sergeant-at-arms and takes his job seriously, always worrying and planning ahead when it comes to his club’s best interests. His road name even stems from Murphy’s Law: anything that can go wrong will go wrong. And so it does ...

The last installment, Riggs, was a complete jaw-dropping, on-the-edge-of-your-seat, heart-wrenching story that although it wasn’t a cliffy, it needed, no, it deserved more of an explanation as to how the fallout effected the club. Leslie gives it to us with guns ablazin’, perfectly told from Murphy’s POV. Nothing breaks the bonds of the brotherhood of Satan’s Fury MC.

As I mentioned above, Murphy has his own set of laws and puts a lot of pressure on himself to keep them all in check, but if he thinks getting involved with someone and falling in love is one he’ll abide, he’s just wrong—so very wrong.

Enter Riley Nichols. Smart, pretty, sassy, and not very good at handling her Long Island iced teas. Riley lives with her dad and her brother, Hunter, on their horse-breeding farm. Her mom is gone, a cancer victim, and that fact plays a big part in the storyline. Along with expenses that come along with breeding horses, Riley’s dad had spent a fortune trying to get the best care for his wife, including experimental treatments—anything to make her healthy. I think it’s safe to say that any one of us in that position would move heaven and earth for our loved ones. Unfortunately, the bills that add up can easily became insurmountable, leaving a huge financial burden on those left behind.

Maybe selling illegal guns is a lucrative business for cartels, gangbangers, and MCs, but it sure isn’t the kind of trouble that an upstanding farm owner wants to get himself involved with. It’s because of this that Riley and Murphy meet. Boy, do things start to heat up between the two even though Riley’s dad has vehemently ordered his daughter to stay away from Murphy and his MC—Pfft! What twenty-four-year-old woman is going to listen anyway!

Things go wrong for Mr. Nichols. Very wrong. Murphy has told him from the very beginning how it could all go south. The MC isn’t the only buyer who Mr. Nichols is dealing with, but they’re the first call he makes for help when Riley goes missing. I guess good ol’ Mr. Nichols shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. After all, he himself is a walking contradiction.

So, as the situation goes from bad to worse, the results aren’t pretty, especially when Murphy’s girl, Riley, is in trouble and Satan’s Fury gets involved.

What. A. Story!! Like the others before it, this segment is also action packed, deeply heart felt, funny at times (the banter between club members is priceless!), with just enough steam. The whole cast of characters are brilliant, each adding so much depth to the storyline. I love that we still can enjoy the guys from the Washington chapter and how they interact with one another. It was so cool to “see” both chapter presidents, Cotton and Gus, taking care of business together.

~~When I walked in, I found Cotton and Gus having a drink. They were in a deep discussion and hadn’t noticed that I’d come into the room. I stood there for a moment, appreciating the fact that I was in the presence of two living legends as they sat there talking. They were both known for leading their clubs with an iron fist, neither of them backing down when faced with adversity. Instead, they faced it with strength and determination. They both had balls of steel, and never showed a moment’s hesitation when it came to protecting the brotherhood. There wasn’t a brother around who’d ever question their loyalty to the club, and I was grateful for the opportunity to work alongside them. When Gus noticed me standing in the doorway, he motioned me over and said, “Hey, brother. Come have a beer.” ~~

Murphy and Riley are great together. I love when a female lead is strong yet understanding of her role within the MC world. These two truly compliment each other and I‘m glad Murphy’s laws cracked enough, allowing him to get the girl! Phenomenal read!! Five stars for me!!!!!

L.Wilder is incapable of writing a story that does not draw readers in from the first page and proves this with Murphy, the next book to join the Satan's Fury Memphis series brotherhood!

Lincoln led a rough life full of disappointments and betrayals, defining himself by his "Road" name Murphy, a direct reference to the adage Murphy's Law. This hero was cautious and surrounded himself with a self imposed wall around his heart that he frequently cracked open to perform acts of kindness in direct contrast to the role he played in the Satan Fury MC. Riley was a devoted daughter and sister willingly taking on responsibility in her family. The dynamic between Murphy and Riley went beyond the obvious heated attraction and built upon a foundation of real interest and mutual respect. This couple was not closed off to each other and did not fall prey to assumptions. Riley had no illusions of what Murphy was capable of and was able to see beyond his actions to the reasoning behind them. Murphy was able to feel vulnerable with the spirited independent Riley, something he had previously denied himself.

Ms. Wilder built the theme of this story well around the Murphy Law adage and events going south added to the suspense and action of this work nicely. This writer has the ability to identify with the bikers she portrays on a deeper level in her writing that makes them approachable to her readers. Some intense developments in the story added a kick of adrenaline to this work for some nail-biting moments.

Once again L. Wilder takes readers on a wild ride to true love with Murphy, a great addition to her Satan Fury's MC series!

*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.*
*While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone.*

Murphy is the latest addition to the Satan’s Fury MC: Memphis Chapter and this man has been wronged by love in the worst ways that he no longer believes in it. The Sergeant At Arms lives by his law, Murphy’s Law when it comes to love. When he stumbles across a farmers daughter with sass and eyes that have him mesmerized he might just be tempted to forget the rules he lives by. An action packed MC romance with grit and just enough cheekiness and determination to have this biker holding your attention. Riley and Murphy will have you on the edge of your seat, holding your breath and cheering for them to find their HEA.

Murphy’s Law- Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

As Satan’s Fury’s sergeant-at-arms, it was my job to stay one step ahead. It was up to me to make sure the club was ready when things went awry. I had to anticipate our enemies’ every move and plan accordingly. I couldn’t let Murphy’s Law bite me in the ass, so I created a set of rules to follow.

• The club comes first.
• Always have your brother’s back.

• Don’t buy into other people’s bullshit.

• Never let your emotions rule you.

I thought they’d prepare me for anything, but I was wrong. Nothing could’ve prepared me for Riley Nichols—the farmer’s daughter with coal-black eyes and a fiery tongue. She took me by surprise, mesmerizing me with her strength and tempting me with her innocence.

I wanted to make her mine, but having her meant breaking my rules—every last one of them.

Let's start off by saying we really love this author's series as it has some really amazing character's for us to love and fall in love with.

Murphy was a man who had a crappy childhood but, one thing he did have was the love of his high school sweetheart.Murphy joined the military to create a better life and in doing so changed his life forever. We really loved Murphy's character as he always seemed to be the quiet type and a bit of a loner but, we found that there was so much more to him living only as half a man/life but, he just needed the one women to spark something in him at that was a little old country girl named Riley.

Riley-We found to be a bit of a firecracker and she definitely had a backbone ,speaks her mind, was open minded along with being loving and caring and pretty down to earth and a bit naive.

Murphy-We found him to be a bit broken and a little loss, smart and tech savvy, funny when he let himself go and a man who thought he had nothing to give a women but, he was so wrong he just needed to let himself love again.

The story had a engaging plot with great character's.The story had drama and a plot that made us laugh out loud a time or too as well as a sweet romance that made this a really enjoyable read.

Riley and Murphy had some major chemistry going on and they really made a cute couple.Their sexual liaisons were super hot and sexy and they seemed to have a lot of fun together.Riley surprised us can you say sex kitten lol. We found her to be a riot thinking of some of her antic's have us laughing out loud just thinking about them.

My only complaint would be that I wished that there was more of a development/courtship between Riley and Murphy. We loved seeing Murphy emerge out of his dark whole and how he struggled with his feeling but, even with his struggles with his feelings his club had his back when it came to his girl. For this couple it pretty much love at first sight even if it took Murphy a little bit longer to realize it because his heart was always waring with his head. The author created the perfect ending to a very touching story and we loved it !

Recommended read to all and we also recommend the entire series.

“Lee,” my father warned. “Go inside. I’ll be there in a minute.”
Being as snarky as possible, I smiled and said, “I’d be happy to show them around for you. I’m sure they’d love to see the stables and check out the horses, or are they here for some other reason?”
I knew I was walking on thin ice. These men were most likely dangerous, but I couldn’t seem to stop myself. It was like I’d been possessed by a crazy person, and she was determined to ruin whatever business they had together. I probably would’ve kept at it if one of the bikers hadn’t taken it upon himself to get involved. As soon as he stepped forward, I realized he was the man from the bar, and it was all I could do to keep my wits about me. With his leather jacket and ass-hugging jeans, he had a rugged look about him, but that didn’t make him any less attractive. In fact, just like the night before, I found it sexy as hell. My interest in him took me by complete surprise. He and his buddies were more than likely criminals, doing God-knows-what to God-knows-who. I knew I had no business finding him or anyone like him appealing, but I couldn’t seem to help myself. I was trying to pull myself together when he removed his sunglasses and his blue eyes locked on mine. Damn, I couldn’t move. I couldn’t think. I was a complete mess. Thankfully, the spell was broken as soon as he opened his mouth.
“Hey, Lee. Why don’t you do us all a favor and just go inside like your father said?”
I was equally hurt and appalled by his unwarranted suggestion, and while I would’ve loved to tell him where to stick it, I wasn’t stupid. I knew I was up against a grizzly bear of a man. Choosing to play it safe, I replied, “I was just trying to be helpful.”
“I think we both know that isn’t true.” The look on his face left me as breathless as it did enraged. Damn. I had no idea why he got to me the way he did. His voice was low and menacing as he growled, “Now, if you don’t mind … we have business to discuss.”
Again, I had to fight the urge to snap back at him. Trying to play it cool, I took off my baseball cap and ran my fingers through my hair. With sarcasm dripping off of every word, I gave him a forced smile and replied, “Certainly. I wouldn’t want to interrupt.”
When I started for the barn, my father shouted, “Where are you going?”
I removed my sunglasses and turned towards him. “I’m taking Anna Belle for a ride. I’ll be back in a few hours.”
“Are you going alone?”
“Yep.” I continued forward, and when I strolled by the biker, I gave him a disapproving scowl. “It was a real pleasure.”

Leslie Wilder grew up in a small town in West Tennessee. A country girl at heart, she’s always thought that life is too short, but she had no idea how short it really was until her brother passed away in 2014. She’s always been an avid reader, loving the escape only a great book can give, and wondered if she had what it took to write one of the wild romances she’d come to adore. With the support of her family and friends, she published Inferno: A Devil Chaser’s MC, one year after her brother’s death. With him in mind, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of writing. Since then, she’s completed the Devil Chaser’s Series and continued on with the Satan’s Fury MC Series. She has so many stories in her head, and can’t wait to share each and every one.

Leslie has been blown away by the support of her readers, appreciating every message, review, and encouraging word she’s received over the past year. She looks forward to continuing this journey with them for years to come.

First impression of this book, is Heat.  Lots and lots of Heat (and yes, that's with a capital H!)  But not just that.  There is also plenty of excitement, some scary parts, when you aren't sure what's going to happen next, and some very sweet interactions between Murphy and Riley.  So this story has a little bit of everything I love in a MC story, making it an absolutely perfect read for me!  There is nothing better to me than a bad boy and an instant connection with a good girl!

This book picks up where Riggs left off, finishing up the final details of Riggs and Reece's story.  It also gives some details of Murphy's background, why he is who he is.  It gives some insight into his personality, his beliefs, and his actions later on in the book.  I found him to be so much more than the bad boy he is at first glance.  Underneath it all, he is exactly what Riley never knew she was looking for.

Riley, on the other hand, is a college student, who grew up on a horse farm.  She isn't sure what she wants to do with her life, but she knows that family is important, and she loves hers more than anything.  When she finds out that things aren't what they seem to be, she isn't sure how to handle it, what to think, or what to do.  She meets Murphy at a time her life is in turmoil, and she isn't sure what to do about him either!

I couldn't help but love Murphy and Riley.  They are absolutely perfect together!  The connection between Murphy and Riley was electric, and undeniable, but it seemed that Murphy's law was in full effect, and I wasn't sure that they'd find their HEA together.  Their story had me hooked from the very beginning, and before I knew it, I was done!  As with other stories by this author, the MC is a bit more hardcore than some by other writers, and the characters are a bit rougher around the edges.  However that just adds to their appeal, and makes them more lovable!  This is a definite read for anyone that loves MC romance, or enjoys that instant connection!

I am along another amazing journey with this author. I have read this series and let me say it just keeps getting better and better. I thought I loved Riggs but I really liked Murphy. The writing and pace were great and the characters are relatable and they suck you in. I started and got no sleep finishing this book.

Riley is a farm girl. She is a free spirit and as sassy as they come. She runs the farm with her father and brother where they are horse breeders. Riley is still having a tough time since her mother passed away. She misses her and so does the rest of her family. SHe is still in school and almost done.

Murphy, well Murphy got a bad deal int he beginning when he was young and trying to be set for the future. It left him feeling love isn't real. He lives in the now. No relationship or commitments. He is the sergeant at arms for the MC and he takes his job seriously.

When he has to go to the farm for a deal he sees Riley for the first time and they feel a connection or a spark I should say. Then Murphy opens his mouth and Riley gives him attitude. Even as time passes he can't get the girl off his mind. Riley sees something she shouldn't and is so upset with her dad. He has his reasons for doing it and didn't want Riley to be a party to it. Then all hell breaks loose. My heart was so sad for Riley there for a moment. I wanted to throw my kindle. I was heartbroken.

This is where we get to see the side of Murphy I wanted to. The author did a great job and she tells it like it is. The way she described Murphy reminded me so much of Jax from Sons Of Anarchy. The ending as perfect I just wish I got more. I completely fell in love with Riley and Murphy. Now with that, I see there could be a set up for Hunter (Riley’s brother) for a book as well. Then possibly Grady her cousin and his two other brothers. I think Jasper would be a good book as well. I would read them both. I do look forward to more from this author.

I just love this series, it just keeps getting better with each book in the series. The author has given us a very well written storyline with characters that will get under your skin and into you heart page after page. The storyline is exciting, fun, action packed and romantic all rolled up into one.

Riley grew up with a loving family on a horse ranch. Her life was great until her mother got sick and died of cancer. Her mother’s death hit her family hard and unbeknownst to Riley left her father in massive debt. Riley’s world is turned upside down when she learns her father has turn to illegal means to make the money back to turn the ranch around. After finding out she runs to her Best Friend/Cousin’s Bar to get away and think. This is first time she see Murphy, he’s sitting across the bar room and seems to just keep looking her way. The second time she sees Murphy, he and his biker friends are meeting her her father but this time they talk and Riley is captivated by the sexy biker as is Murphy with Riley. But their worlds are miles apart.

Murphy lives by a code: the club comes first, always have your brother’s back, don’t make promises you can’t keep, don’t buy into other peoples “bull” and lastly Never let your emotions rule you. Can these two find a way to make things work? If so will Murphy have to compromise his personal code? We find out when Riley’s father’s mess catches up with her.

I can’t recommend this exciting book enough. It will keep you glued to the pages, I know I couldn’t put it down. 2 Thumbs Up for this amazing 5 star read. Grab this book/series up now, you won’t be sorry you did.

Murphy grew up watching his mother always chasing the wrong men hoping for the relationship that stuck for her happily ever after, while he was ignored, but in the meantime, he fell in love himself. He went into the military, busting his behind to make their lives better, but when he came home to surprise her, he ended up with his heart broken, and that's when he decided that love wasn't in the cards for him. Now years later, he doesn't break his rules for any woman, and as Satan's Fury's sergeant-at-arms, nothing bites him in the behind anymore by following his simple rules. That is until he sets eyes on Riley Nichols, who destroyed his rules, and knocked him on his a**. Once again, L. Wilder penned another Satan's Fury MC story that I never wanted to end, and this time it was Murphy's turn to find love. And much like the others, he didn't do it gracefully, but it was fun to watch, as Riley was another strong woman to knock him for a loop. She had me laughing, especially when she decided to let him have it when he tried to ghost her. Of course there was also twists to get the heart racing & f-bombs dropping, plus a cast of secondaries who added more depth. And don't let me forget some super sexy times that lit the sheets on fire. So yeah, I love me some sexy Satan's Fury bikers, and cannot wait for more! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

4.5 Stars of awesomesauce!

WELCOME BACK my Satan’s Fury boys!!!! :)

I really liked Murphy in this story. He has a very strong sense of loyalty and I think part of that is due to what happened to his character early on in the book. But I think that Riley kind of threw him for a loop. She definitely wasn’t what he was expecting. But when it comes to showing her that he really cares, he goes all out. His character really impressed me and I liked him a bit more than I liked Riley.

I didn’t have anything against Riley, but she is young. There are things that are going on in the story that definitely throw things for a loop in everyone’s lives, but she had a tendency to act like a bit of a brat. But I also understand where her anger came from in relation to what was going on at her home. But she did eventually grow on me and I was really rooting for her and Murphy as the book went on. And her character really impressed me with how she handled her situation that happens later in the book. Definitely shows a growth.

Overall, I really liked the book. The characters were good and the storyline was paced well and engaging. I got to see some of the the characters that I have enjoyed from previous books. Further, the story kept me entertained. Can’t wait to see what comes next! Two thumbs up from me and happy reading!

ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book picks up where Riggs book ended. I loved the extra behind the scenes from Murphy’s perspective and truly fell for him. You also get some background on why Murphy is so closed from having a relationship.

Riley is a college student who grew up on a horse farm where she still rides and lives at. She doesn’t know what she wants to do with her finance degree, except she wants to keep the family farm. Little does she know not everything is as it seems at the farm. She finds out what's going on and at first doesn’t know how to deal with it, but getting to know Murphy helps her understand a little more.

I fell in love with Murphy and Riley. They had a slow steady burning love. I could put myself in Riley’s shoes and understood how she felt about love and fearful she was of getting hurt. They had electric chemistry and I admit I reread the cell phone call scene more than a few times. Riley is my girl and I think L Wilder wrote her perfectly.

I do recommend this book and I also highly recommend you reading Riggs as well before. To be honest I recommend all her books. Even though I knew what the cover looked like, all I could picture was Charlie Hunnam from SOA.

I'm a big fan of L. Wilder ... BIG FAN I tell you! She can do no wrong when it comes to her MC men. I was surprised that Murphy: Satan's Fury MC Memphis starts off where Riggs the third book in this series finishes, I'm not upset by that because of how it brought the action into the beginning of the story. It also reminded me of how close this brotherhood of men is.

Murphy's story grabbed me from the start, I understood how his past prepared him for avoiding distractions and always preparing for the worse. His take charge, big heart and all of that sexiness make him impossible to not glance his way twice and hard to forget. Once he catches Riley's attention, the chemistry between these two characters is easily felt. I really love how Riley wasn't afraid to express how she feels whether it be to her family and Murphy. She's one strong woman and the perfect one that could help Murphy break down his walls.

The twist and turns in this story had me on edge but it's the characters that keep me wanting more. I was so ready to ask this author if she has plans on writing a story on a particular character that left me giggling, excited and wanting. I'm always ready for the next L. Wilder book.

(4 stars)

This is not a standalone series, the previous books should be read before this. Murphy's story starts almost at the end of the last book. We actually get a bit of a recap from Murphy's POV, which for me was good as it reminded me what had happened previously. (It's been a while, and I didn't reread) Murphy doesn't do love, not since his heart was broken years before. Now, he lives by a set of rules, and he has no plans of breaking these rules.

When Riley found out that her father dabbles in a bit of illegal trading, it was a hard pill to swallow. She understands why he started doing it, but that doesn't excuse the fact that its still wrong. When she finds herself attracted to one of the men that her father has dealings with, she is unsure how to feel. But the more she gets to know Murphy, the more she sees him in a different light. What happens when Riley has Murphy breaking all those rules he lives by?

For the first bit of the book, I was a bit bored but then it picked up and kept right on going with the action. Throwing in danger, violence, and some nicely done naughty bits, Murphy's story proved to be very entertaining. I give this 4 stars.

Murphy by L. Wilder is book 4 in the Satan's Fury MC: Memphis Series. This is the story of Riley Nichols and Lincoln 'Murphy'. I haven't yet read the previous books yet. I do feel I should have before starting this one, but with that said I was able to make this a standalone. Lincoln was hurt by a women he thought he loved. Moving on with his life he joined the Satan's Fury where he became their sergeant-at-arms took on the name Murphy. Murphy lives by his Murphy Laws that don't allow him to get involved with women or a bunch of emotional stuff and put his gang members first. Riley lives on a horse farm with her father and brother. Riley's mother died of cancer which has of course changed their lives, but Riley didn't know how much until she learned her father's secret. Riley's father started running guns to gang members to help pay the medical bill and other family bills. This is how Riley and Murphy meet. Murphy tries to keep his emotions in tact but Riley brings out feeling he can't walk away from.

You can never go wrong with a book by L. Wilder and she once again proved why. This book didn't have a ton of action but just enough but the love that grew between Murphy and Riley was lovely. These two were perfect for each other and I couldn't get enough of their story.

Murphy wasn't looking for love, in fact that is the last thing he wants or needs in his life. He doesn't want to ever open himself up to the hurt that comes with it so when Riley comes along he tries to fight it.

Riley wants love but is not having any luck finding someone she can see herself having a relationship with. She is drawn to a guy at a bar never expecting to ever see him again. Drama and issues arise with her family and low and behold that man enters her life again. The chemistry between her and Murphy is something she wants to pursue but he isn't going to make it easy.

This book is one that will suck you right in and not let you go until the end. The story line was a tad bit rushed and I would've loved a bit more but I loved being able to see them in the future and where they end up. I would definitely recommend this book!!!

I simply cannot get enough of L. Wilder’s bikers! Murphy takes that love to a whole new level with how fantastic it is. All sorts of seriously swoony romance that still contains that rough grit of the MC world and a good dose of suspense that keeps you on your toes waiting to see what’s to come this book is one you won’t be able to put down. I was hooked immediately and quickly absolutely in love with all things Murphy and Riley!
A sweet, smart and kindhearted farm girl seems like the complete opposite of a bad@#$ biker like Murphy but these two go together like peanut butter and jelly. Well, if peanut butter and jelly had electric chemistry that left you fanning yourself and falling head over heels that is. The attraction between them is instant and the pull undeniable. Despite any resistance it was clear from the get go these two were meant to be. As always with L. Wilder’s brilliant writing there’s as much action to keep you hooked as there is romance and I found myself pulled even deeper into their story by it. There’s not one moment of this book that I didn’t love!

Murphy believed in Murphy's law because he lived it. He was the SAA for the MC and made sure they were always ready for anything. But--his law said anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Was meeting Riley wrong? He promised himself he'd never get in a situation to get hurt again. When Ryley and club business crossed it was too late. He couldn't avoid her.

Would the danger he warned her of touch her from an unexpected side? Who would give her more security? The Club always had trouble to deal with. They were a strong club and held their power any way they had to. They took care of their own. When Ryley got in danger there was no holding back. His brothers were all with him to get her back and punish the men who took her. Was it time for him to admit his feelings?

Steam, loyalty, danger, are a few of the feelings this book will drag from you. More characters to love and visits from old friends. Another good one that stands alone although in a series by L. Wilder.

*****5 Murphy Stars*****
I have read this series and let me say it just keeps getting better and better. Riley is still having a tough time since her mother passed away and She misses her and so does the rest of her family and all the financial struggles. Riley a sassy girl and free spirited farm girl. Murphy is take charge kind of man, big heart and all of that makes him impossible to hard to forget. Murphy and Riley's first meeting was pretty typical but their second meeting was anything but. Murphy and Riley's first meeting was pretty typical but their second meeting was anything but typical. The second encounter is one she wished she never had happened Murphy and his brothers Satan’s Fury meet her father and brother to sell them guns. Murphy knows there danger with doing theses kind of deals but he believes that Riley’s father doesn’t understand the danger he putting her in. This book is about all of the above such a good read!!
