The crab King Roche musters the Maryns to create a sea creature army on land. The cephalopod officer’s have fishmen troops, a crustacean artillery, and flying sharks to defeat the chimeras and rioting trees. It’s an interspecies battle for supremacy of the food chain.
And meanwhile, a creature called the Adreena lurks in the shadows, creating and feeding on the fear of humans. This monster finds the terror inspired by Roche to be delicious, but the King wants nothing to do with such a parasite. Meanwhile, Everstar picks a fight with the forest and causes a stampede that turns into a tree rodeo. He falls in love with an android, and learns to care about something other than winning at all costs. The major gets exposed the the fatal zoophagium virus. And Hilda learns how to use her dream raiding powers to win the affection of Jon. Or does she?
