Sasha was such a strong smart woman, why to reduce her to a meek girl, who was pining for a man for 8 years, knowing he was NOT celibate.
And this caricature of a male protagonist offers her a sexual relationship, where he wanted to be a dominant and she a submissive. Are you freaking kidding me???! Why to reduce a cool woman to a jealous insecure hormonal mess?
Speak about killing the book.
Lucky me didn't get to the 1st sex scene.
Dominant, my ass. Ridiculous 🙄

My Thoughts - Story
I’m highly impressed with this story and the author. The writing is flawless and Ms. Bondurant has such a gift for telling a story and getting the reader engrossed.

This book may have been told from Sasha’s POV but to give Brian the chance at the end of the story to express his feelings and the reasons why he did the things he did, just put the icing on the cake.

Kudos to you, Ms. Bondurant. I absolutely LOVED this story and was sucked in by the time I got to the 20% mark.

Yes, there were times I got pissed off at both of our characters and didn’t understand why they had to be so secretive about their feelings and their weaknesses, but I appreciated it by the time I got to the end of the book.

Now, also you have to realize when I first read that Brian had “dominant” rules and wanted Sasha to be submissive in the bedroom, I actually rolled my eyes because it’s been so long since I read books like this and normally find myself skimming over the sexy parts. Cause, really, how many different ways can a couple have sex?

The funny thing is though…I read EVERY SINGLE word…every sex scene – every dom/sub part and believe it or not, I found myself getting aroused.

Why? Because Ms. Bondurant may have made Brian want to be dominant in the bedroom but it was subtle and tastefully done. She didn’t force the sex on you but seamlessly entwined it through the story.

Re-Cap
Sasha is VP of an advertising firm and friends with her boss, Brian for over eight years. She’s always had a “thing” for him but kept it locked up because of the work situation and an anxiety disorder she has had since her teenage years.

Dubbed as Sasha B. Fierce, everyone perceives her as being solid and perfect, but if they only knew the insecurites she deals with. Knowing this, Sasha fears that a relationship with Brian will only fail like all her others in the past.

It isn’t until Sasha gets wind of Brian meeting up with another woman for a booty call, that the green vines of jealousy take over and she lets her feelings known.

But, Brian has an agenda all his own. He wants Sasha to promise to submit in bed and follow his list of rules…as time goes on – it’s only inevitable that the two start to feel more than just a great FUCK.

Sasha Brooks has worked with Brian Carpenter in the advertising industry for several years. Her last promotion made him her boss and that’s part of the reason she’s kept their relationship in the friend zone. Sasha’s a “fierce” business woman on the surface, but on the inside she’s fighting a long standing anxiety disorder. Brian, on the other hand, is easy going and laid back…until he takes his clothes off and then he’s in dominant mode.

“‘I want you to lose the towel, honey, lie in the middle of the bed with your knees apart and your pretty pussy on display for me. Put pillows under your head and relax because when I come out, I plan on spending a lot of time down there.’”

So Brian has some rules for this new relationship with Sasha, taking them from just friends to friends & lovers. Rule number one being f*cking before fighting when angry!

The pair is no strangers to bickering, and their verbal sparring provides some giggle out loud moments. It was fun when Sasha would piss Brian off. See rule number one.

“‘I underestimated your ability to talk dirty. Your approach is subtle, yet I’m on the dance floor with a hard-on now.’”

Aside from the sexy times, to which they are plentiful, the story has a good message of how images and facades can be alienating as well as how striving for perfection can lead to loneliness. I was a little uncertain about Sasha and her insecurities in the opening. I didn’t exactly connect with her at first, but after how she handled the “bathroom gossip” scene, I wanted to high five her. And then she kept going with the kick ass bravado that she summoned up despite her anxiety issues. She really came to show how a woman can be strong in the face of personal adversities.

“I held my head high and walked away with as much dignity as a woman with panties balled up in her fist could.”

Told via Sasha’s first person POV (aside from the epilogue) Ask Me Something is the second book in The Something series. It can be read as a standalone, although Josh and Haylee from Tell Me Something and many other secondary characters also appear.

Ask Me Something by Aubrey Bondurant a fab four star read. This is the second book in the Something series. Each book can be read as stand-alone and are suitable for adults only due to scenes of an adult nature. If you read book one then you would have seen the main characters Sasha and Brian meeting, and in this story we see there chemistry developing and growing, but you don’t have to have seen them meet to get their story.
This book has a great story, and its filled with tales of friendship, love and desire. This story shows you how hard life can be at times, but it also shows us the good side of life, the characters are strong and well written and you won’t be able to put this book down. If you enjoyed it half as much as I did you will be getting the rest of the series to find out what happens in the rest of the stories and who’s story will we get next?

“…I can feel people wanting me to fail.”

Sasha Brooks, or Sasha B-Fierce as her coworkers refer to her, is the calm, cool, collected picture of professionalism, or at least she appears to be. Inwardly, however, she is anything but calm, cool or collected. Having been blindsided as a teenager with some previously unknown truths regarding her personal history, everything Sasha believed about herself was suddenly not true. Overwhelmed when confronted in a humiliating way with this information, she succumbed to her first panic attack in what her therapist refers to as the traumatic trigger that started her anxiety attack disorder. Years of therapy, experience dealing with the situations that are her personal triggers, as well as her finely honed ability to recognize the onslaught of her symptoms have all helped Sasha hide her disorder from her family as well as her friends.

“Brian was attracted to a woman who was self-assured and put-together. Not one who had to snap a hair band to keep from freaking out in social situations.”

Brian Carpenter has been in love with Sasha Brooks for eight years. A mutual attraction between the two of them has always burned, but it’s complicated given that Brian is also Sasha’s boss, and they’ve settled into a relationship that is a combination of colleagues and friends. Knowing how important her career is to her, Brian is left with no choice but to accept being relegated to the friend-zone. Brian has taken the opportunity to really get to know Sasha – minus the anxiety attacks or the information that triggered her disorder. His love for her has never waivered, and after eight years of loving her from afar, he’s grown tired of his friends-only status and devises a plan that he hopes will ultimately result in a relationship with Sasha that includes her returning his love.

“I’m not the girl you think you know.”

The two enter into a sexual relationship that is defined by some carefully crafted rules by Brian. The more time they spend together, and with Brian’s rules guiding Sasha where he wants her to go, it’s no surprise that’s she’s finally acknowledged her true feelings for Brian. Unfortunately the timing of this realization collides with her learning that he also kept some crucial professional information from her, breaking one of Sasha’s very few – but critically important – rules in their relationship. The culmination of all of this emotional upheaval all at once is the mother of all panic attacks during a very public situation. In the aftermath of her attack, a humiliated and defeated Sasha has no choice but to finally tell him about her disorder and her past. Emotionally overwhelmed and assuming that he couldn’t possibly love her upon learning these things about her, Sasha lets Brian go.

“…a happily ever after wasn’t in my future.”

Fleeing to her parents home to regroup, Sasha gets some enlightening, well timed and perfectly worded parental advice has her rethinking things and doing some self re-examination. Her parents’ words, coupled with an explanation and clarification of the professional information by Brian’s boss and childhood best friend, all have Sasha scrambling to reach Brian in time. But is it too little, too late?

“Do you really think I don’t know you, Sasha Jayne Brooks?”

As an avid romance and erotica fan, I’m very accustomed to reading novels featuring an imperfect hero. It is rare when it is the heroine that is imperfect, and this book is an example of one that is very well done. I enjoyed this story very much. While Sasha had many issues to overcome, she faced them, bravely, one at time, every single day by going into situations that were known triggers and excelling in them. Reading about her slowly letting her guard down with Brian and fall deeper into this relationship was very rewarding. The author did a fantastic job of taking the reader into Sasha’s head as she worked through her fears.

This book was well written and the relationship between Brian and Sasha was lovely to watch unfold. Brian proved time and time again that he absolutely did know Sasha as he took her reactions into consideration with each step as he nudged their relationship forward. 4.5 smooches for Ask Me Something from me!

When I happened on Aubrey Bondurant’s first book by chance, I was impressed and concluded she was an author to keep an eye on. With the release of her second book, I’m even more impressed. She has grown as an author and the strengths evident in her first book are even more pronounced here. The storytelling is tight and the writing fluid without being overly elaborate, packing a punch when it needs to. But where the book really shines is the characters. I don’t think the author could write a dull, flat, insipid caricature if she tried. Her people (they deserve to be called that) sparkle: intelligent, witty, and passionate, they get a grip on you.

Nor is the author afraid to let reality intrude on her narrative. The challenges her people face are real and they are addressed accordingly: no fairy dust gets sprinkled; no author “magic” it employed to force an HEA “just because”. Instead, people live, suffer and grow through their mistakes, foibles, and triumphs. I feel this is the strongest part of the book.

The story is unabashedly erotic. No doubt you’ll get some idea of that from the other reviewers. However, I think it deserves some comment on what that means, besides the obvious. “Erotic” tends to be something a buzzword, diluted by overuse and being too often applied in ways that verge on euphemistic, but it once did (and still can) have a deeper meaning. Eros, as originally understood, implied connection. Without that connection, nothing is erotic. It’s the connections between the people in her books – genuine, heartfelt and flawed – that makes these books truly erotic. Few authors of my acquaintance are as gifted in showing this as Aubrey Bondurant is. Here again, I feel she’s grown in this regard, and this book is a notch higher than her debut novel.

Now, I’m not a typical romance reader, but these are not typical romance. It is often unwise to prognosticate on the experience of others, but (being not terribly wise in some ways), I’ll venture that if you liked her first book, you will like (if not love) this one even more. If you loved her first book, you’re in for a real treat.

I also believe this an author who has not yet reached the height of her powers. Consider that quietly when you contemplate her upcoming work.

Final note: I received a pre-release version of this book from the author, but that was not given to me in exchange for a review, and my review is not based on that version. My review is based on the published edition, which I purchased.

Couldn't put it down......

I have read both the first book and now this second book in The Something Series, and highly recommend both. Each book was sexy, funny, and even made me cry. You know the book is "that good" when you get that involved with the characters of the book. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Review by Lisa Kane

Sasha Brooks and Brian Carpenter have been best friends for years. Both hold high ranking positions at Gamble Advertising. He also happens to be her boss. Sasha had been based in Charlotte but has since relocated to New York. For the last eight years they have flirted and skimmed the surface of their relationship. Only once did they dare to attempt to cross the lines from friends to lovers. But that attempt was thwarted and they never repeated the performance. But it seems Brian might be interested in taking things further.

We'd known each other almost eight years. Over that time, we'd developed a relationship that was a combination of colleagues and friends.

While in New York on business he hints at blurring those lines with Sasha. She has serious issues with stress. Over the years she's learned coping skills but she hasn't really moved past the devastation she suffered when she was sixteen. She forces herself for the sake of her career to fake ease with meeting new clients and new situations. Brian has no idea just how devastating it can be for Sasha.

There is a lot of baggage in this story. Brian has, to put it mildly, a real need to dominate in the bedroom. Sasha has to deal with his rather extensive sexual history, which is a contrast to her rather modest sexual encounters.

"I won't say that I haven't already done some of the things we've done or will do. But with you it's so drastically different, that I can't recall my history. There's no room for it because my mind is filled with thinking of new ways to please you."

She is a forceful take charge women and struggles with handing over total control to another person. Brian made such an issue of it that I have to admit, I rolled my eyes more than once at his antics. I don't mind alpha men, but one who has a constant need to dominate wears on my nerves a bit.

Our cast of characters from the first story-Josh, Haylee, Catherine and Mark are delightfully present in this story too. Plus we get a little more insight into Brian's sister Mckenzie and her crush on Colby, Josh's brother. (their story is book #3 Bet on Something) I am hooked on this series-I feel as if I know them well enough to anticipate how they will react to situations and what little angsty moments are lurking around the corner.

I made love to her slowly, the way I'd always wanted to from the beginning but was afraid to, lest she see the way I'd actually felt about her for so many years.

**5-star review from Laura at Amo's Book Corner**

This book was 418 pages of awesome! Although this is Book 2 in the series it can be read as a standalone.

Welcome to the highly competitive and fast-paced world of Gamble Advertising……

The story centres on the long friendship and undeniable sexual chemistry between Sasha Brooks, VP of the New York branch, and her now boss, East Coast Regional President Brian Carpenter.

Sasha, or Sasha-B-Fierce as she’s known to her colleagues, has always been career driven but uses that focus and determination to succeed to mask a secret. A secret she is desperate not to reveal.

Brian is your quintessential Southern gentleman and just oozes charm and charisma; yet he is not all he appears to be as well.

They have both secretly harboured feelings for one another for 8 years. When Sasha is faced with very real possibility that Brian may have found someone will she woman up and confess her true feelings?

What do you think? ;)

We follow their burgeoning relationship where admissions are made, boundaries are tested and secrets are revealed.

My heart was in my mouth so many times with this book, especially when Sasha’s secrets are revealed and I really felt for her. I think we could all put ourselves in her shoes and identify with the emotions she was experiencing. We never truly know what is behind someone’s smile but Sasha’s inner strength speaks for itself no matter how much she would try to refute this statement.

Brian may seem easygoing and laidback but he is ALPHA to the core however still has an underlying emotional vulnerability. Phew!! The naughty bits are scorching! But he really proved his mettle as a top BFF at the end when declarations are made:

“What you may consider an imperfection only makes you more perfect for me.”

There really is no arguing with that, is there?!

There are a whole host of secondary characters to get your teeth into as well and I can’t wait to see who the author picks to tell their story next.

If you can’t already tell I loved Aubrey’s writing and she is now on my auto buy list.

Rating: 4.5*

Sasha is a highly successful, only female Vice President at an advertising firm but hides the fact that she suffers from anxiety and finds it difficult to be around other people. She comes across as cold and standoffish but beneath the surface she is constantly fighting her insecurities. Brian is Sasha's boss and long time friend, who wants more with Sasha but she will need to submit to him in the bedroom. Can she trust him enough to let got completely or will the secrets they both have drive them apart?

Brian's passion and desire for Sasha is plain to see and he will protect her at all costs. He seems to understand Sasha's without knowing everything about her and his patience has no bounds when it comes to Sasha.

Sasha, while socially awkward, is ace at her job, working hard to get where she is. She is fiercely protective of those she trusts and brings those claws out when needed. When pushed hard enough she will give as good as she gets. This coupled with her independence makes submission in the bedroom challenging to say the least.

This was a fantastic read, with fantastic characters and just the right amount of conflict to drive the story forward and push Brian and Sasha to confront their feelings for each other. A captivating, hot read which got under my skin and made me feel for Sasha and Brian. I'm looking forward to reading more Aubrey Bondurant as she has a writing style that was a joy to read.

This is the first book I've read by Aubrey Bondurant, and I absolutely LOVED it! WHAT AN AMAZING STORY!

Sasha Brooks has been focused on having a great career her whole life. Now she's newly promoted as a Vice President in a New York City advertising company. She's beautiful, driven, and fierce, but she's hiding a huge secret that she won't let anyone close enough to find out about. Brian Carpenter has had a secret thing for his newest VP, but Sasha won't let anyone close to her. For 8 years, they have flirted, but she won't let it get any further, until she believes he's with someone else, so she finally takes a chance and says something. So Brian proposes an arrangement with set rules. Will Sasha finally be able to let go of control?

I never know what to expect when I read an author new to me, but Ask Me Something blew me away. The character development is fantastic, with an addicting, well written story line that flows very smoothly. Aubrey Bondurant does a fantastic job hooking me from the beginning, and holding me hostage until I finished. Her talented writing style pulled out my emotions like I was physically in the story, with well placed humor that had me laughing hard. The chemistry is tangible, which made the sexy scenes FIERY HOT, and hot flash worthy. I simply CANNOT WAIT to read more from this author, so I happily HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ask me something is a book that is filled with real world problems. I absolutely loved that the main characters were not flawless like in so many other books. This book was so easy to get sucked into because of how realistic the characters and their problems were. I loved Sasha because even faced with all of the problems she has she never gives up and says "its to hard". She says "give me some feminine power music and some alone time. I'll do it." and that, to me, is what every person in the world should strive for in their career.
Brian is a man who is "dominant" (put in quotes because this is not a dom sub book, he just likes a little control.) he is absolutely amazing, yeah he messes up quite a bit, but come on who in the real world doesn't. He and Sasha have been friends for 8 years and have probably been in lust with eachother for that same amount of time but they held off. Until that night that Sasha went ahead and asked the question.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a great happily ever after romance with quite a bit of great sex.
However if you do not like sex in your books then you should go look for something else.
This book was scorching.

This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites!! I really loved Tell Me Something and couldn't wait to see what she wrote after that one. I was super duper happy when I found out this book was going to be about Brian. OMG....he is YUMMY!!! We first meet both Sasha and Brian in the first book and I must say I was really excited to see that they were going to be together. Brian is one that really swept me off my feet pretty much immediately but by the end of this book I was head over heels in love with this character. Sasha was definitely a tough as nails heroine and I really liked that. The author did such a great job with this story. I devoured it in one sitting. I can not wait to see what comes next because I know it is going to be amazing!! I am really hoping that Mark will be getting his own story soon. This was easily a 5 AMAZEBALLS stars read for me!! A copy was gifted in exchange for an honest review.

I received this book from the author through Nerd Girls for an honest review.

The book took a little getting used to, but once I was settled I was intrigued. Sasha is such a control freak yet because she really has no other choice. I loved watching her grow in the warmth of Brian. I also really liked that she was able to climb the corporate ladder even with her anxiety issues. So many women suffer from this disorder and no one ever talks about it. I applaud Bondurant for her accurate portrayal of this disorder, yet does not make Sasha look weak in any way. Although this is a wonderful love story, it felt more powerful than that for me.

It's a fairytale just their happy ever after will be a little naughtier.

Sasha and Brian have been friends and coworkers for years now with Brian as Sasha boss and they finding themselves in a relationship of sorts and the lines get blurred between the two.

I loved to watch these two work out how to make a relationship work with all the factors they have in play. The great friendships they have with the other couples. Then when things get a little out of hand the way Brian goes out of his way to make things better for Sasha was outstanding.

Aubrey Bondurant is officially one of my favorite authors.
Her debut novel 'Tell Me Something' was amazing and I wasn't sure she could top it. I was mistaken. Sasha and Brian were so real to me that I'm having a hard time with the fact that the book is done.
My only regret is coming into this series too soon as now I have to wait for book 3.
Brilliant read!!!!

Note to author: Do hurry up with book 3, I'm experiencing the mother-of-all book hangovers here.

4🌟🌟🌟🌟 spoiler warning

Brian & Sasha’s story did not disappoint in the slightest. The development in this series has me hooked. Hallee and Josh’s story had me on the fence as to whether I would continue but the ending of there’s had gotten to me that I knew I needed to see this all through and book 2 didn’t disappoint.

It was so refreshing to have Sasha’s anxiety not forgotten a lot of authors mention a possible mental health issue and then don’t go into detail or just then not mention it again. Aubrey does the opposite, she shows her character’s struggles and how it doesn’t define them in the slightest and when we see Sasha finally come to terms that she is exactly what everyone thinks she is, it’s just beautiful. Sasha-b-fierce . Because that’s what she was fierce throughout. Honestly I don’t know how she didn’t knock that bitch Vanessa out. Women should support each other not belittle them and treat them the way she did.

Brian was a surprise, as mentioned he is a funny laid back person but in the bedroom? Anything but that. And knowing he loved Sasha for the length of time he did I just melted.

The reason this was a 4* for me is because Brian is mentioned as a dominant? I know there are many times but for me I don’t feel Brian was one. He liked control sure but I wasn’t sure that he could be refereed to as one. But that’s my opinion. Other than that I loved everything else.

Ask Me Something (The Something Series Book 2 ) By Aubrey Bondurant

Ask Me Something (The Something Series Book 2 ) By Aubrey Bondurant is the second book in The Something Series. Although this book can be read as a standalone I recommend reading the first book in this series as the characters overlap into the next book. This story is about Brian and Sasha. This story gives us a bit of humor and of course a little drama. I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first book and I can't wait to read the rest of the Series.Im very eager to see who the next story will be about.i like this authors style of writing her ability to weave together such characters with as much passion as these have is amazing .I was drawn in from the beginning in fact I felt like I couldn't read fast enough I just had to keep going,I pretty much stayed up all night reading but it was worth it. Sasha and Brian have been friends for eight years with that being said there are some "secrets he doesn't know about and Sasha plans on keeping it that way.Brian wants Sasha and he knows she wants him as well.I mean the chemistry between these two are off the charts. It's funny both have "secrets but will they ever get up the nerve to share them with each other? This is a bit emotional at times Can they have a relationship? Can Sasha give Brian total control?Oh man I could go on and on but I don't want to spoil the story. I highly recommend you check out not only this book but the whole series.

Incredible Series!

I’m reading this entire series for the second time which is something I rarely do. It’s impossible not to fall in love with all of these characters. The writing and the editing are superb. I would consider Aubrey to be one of the best in character development. Each character is so unique and real.

In Ask Me Something, the chemistry between Sasha and Brian is off the charts. They have worked together in the same advertising company for 8 years. There is no insta-love; they each have struggles with which to deal. The relationships are so life-like that it’s hard to believe it’s fiction. There is nothing that I didn’t love about this book and this series. It has just the right amount of everything: romance, steam, humor, angst, and friendship. Even the secondary characters are beautifully portrayed. There are struggles and obstacles in each character’s life but the author brilliantly shows the growth of each one, there is no unnecessary, overblown drama. Of course there are a few characters who stir up trouble. You can’t wait for their karma!

You won’t want to put this book down. If it were possible to give this book more than 5 stars, I would.

Ask Me Something by Aubrey Bondurant is the second book in The Something series, this book and be read as a standalone but we do get to visit the previous characters but not enough to feel like you are lost. This book is a well written story about friends to lovers and Coworkers to lovers. Sasha and Brian have spent years as coworkers and honestly best friends, but things are heating up and about to change. Sasha is known for her ways of being fierce in her line of work but even the fiercest women can have something they hide from everyone. Brian is known for his charm and easy going personality but what he feels for Sasha is anything but easy. These two complement each other in all the best ways. But it’s hard when the lines between personal and professional get blurred. I loved everything about this book; its characters are complex and written so well that you feel like these are people you know. The story pulls you into a world that you wish you could stay in. This is my second book by this author and it’s just as good as the first, can’t wait to read more. Five stars all the way.

I give 5 stars to, Ask me something (The something series book 2) written by Aubrey Bondurant.

This is a full length standalone with no cliffhanger but part of a series.

Sasha Brooks has worked her way up to vice president of advertising company and it wasn't by playing nice girl! It was through hard work and dedication. The past 8 years she has had playful banter and flirting with Brian he's the boss to all the vice president of the main company. But he's learning he cant control his newest vp. He's always up for a bit more but Sasha has alway had a stern line that she never crossed with Brian until someone else shows an interest in him all the feels she damped down come to the flooding to the service. But will it prove to late!!

I absolutely loved this story i just fell in love with Sasha and her outlook on life and career. Reminded me of myself a little. I loved the chemistry between Sasha and Brian and the steamy scenes. One thing i missed was having Brian POV within the book but didn't make much of a difference to me by the end of the book.

This series is high on my recommendations for friends.

A brilliant and fast paced friends to lovers story that was an epic inclusion into the Something series by Aubrey Bondurant. This is one fine series that I love more every time I read an instalment.

Career driven Sasha has always put her work before her love life. She kept her attraction to her boss and friend, Brian, as hidden as she could, preferring to focus on her career in case she put her heart out there, only for it to be broken. Her no nonsense determination to make it in an industry heavily run by men, has many believing she is a cold hearted shark that has only a love for her job. She is hiding her big heart behind a cut throat reputation. Her secret plays a big part in the way she is, and she is not the only one with something they keep under wraps.

Brian feels an intense attraction to Sasha, but he is more forthcoming in what he wants, to a degree. He is an easygoing character that is likeable and charismatic. He was easy to relate to, as he was not as complex as Sasha. Sasha was much more guarded but still lovable, whereas Brian had that casual happy go lucky personality that was easy to become immersed in. It was a real thrill to uncover all that was Sasha and Brian.

Again, Aubrey Bondurant delivered a gutsy, drama driven story that captured my complete attention, and was thoroughly entertaining, dramatic and electrifying. A highly sensual tale that I finished way too quickly. This book is one to savour, not rush through. A true pleasure to read and I am really looking forward to the rest of this sseries. 5 stars

This is the third book I have read by this author and it's becoming very clear that she writes amazing characters with even more amazing stories and relationships!

This is the second book of this series and can be read as a stand alone. It does, however, have some continuation of some of the background characters who were main characters in the first book so would be better in order.

This book is as good as the first if not better and I feel that this series will continue to excel. Real characters with real life issues and major chemistry makes for some smoking hot scenes and some beautifully written tender and pivotal moments.

I loved the characters in this book and cannot wait to see which of the background characters will feature in the next book as they all so very interesting and intriguing.

I love this author and highly recommend anything written by her, especially this book and series.
