Bonnie Hopkins is a retired Community Relations Consultant who resides in the Houston, Texas area. She is a graduate of Arkansas A.M. & N. College, Pine Bluff, Arkansas (which has since become the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff). She is also a mother, grandmother, godmother, prayer intercessor, encourager, teacher, mentor, helper, friend and writer.

Writing is Bonnies second career. (A testimony to the fact that God always has another plan and purpose for our lives). No one is more surprised than she, that God has called her into a writing ministry. But she does know why, and her writing poignantly reflects that. She writes from a foundation of Christian principles from the Word of God, life experiences and observations. Her stories are centered around real, relative life issues that readers can easily identify with. She is driven by a heartfelt desire to encourage, inspire and motivate others to keep looking to Jesus, who is the Author and Finisher of their faith. Her stories ring with the fundamental message and assurance that when a chapter closes in our lives, we can trust God for a new beginning because in Him there is always a hope and a future.

In addition to writing, and the numerous tasks associated with a writing career, Bonnie serves in her church, volunteers, and recently began a fulfilling endeavor as mentor and coach to a group of aspiring writers and others who just want to be inspired to pursue their God-given gifts.

Bonnies debut novel, Seasons, was released in October, 2005. It has made several best-seller lists, and has been a blessing to countless readers - many of whom admit to reading the book over and over. She expects no less from her recently released, stirring novel, Now and Then, Again."

I enjoyed this book alot. I actually gave it a second try which I don't usually do. It lost a star for me because Jason kind of annoyed me. I liked him at first but he started coming off over protective and insecure.

This book was very surprising, towards the end specifically (involving some of the "villains" or antagonists). A romance is fully fleshed out along with the characters. The story feels well done and nothing seems to be rushed or too cliché.

Jacetta Williams (aka Jaci) met Maxie Jackson and thought she had found the love of her life. It wasn’t until the day she told him she was pregnant that he admitted to her he was a married man.
Trusting God every step of the way, this young, single mother worked hard to make sure her daughter had what she needed. Years later independent Jaci met J.P Gilmore. With him it seemed to be love at first sight but after the way Maxie had treated her, Jaci was hesitant to start a relationship. J.P. was persistent and Jaci eventually let down her defenses. Still, with love in her life things weren’t always good. However, as “seasons” of life changed her faith in God remained.
This book started out pretty good, then it got slow to where I was about to lose interest, but then it picked up again. There was repetivness in the story - especially when it came to the Maxie character - but there were also a few unexpected events that livened things up.

This is a really good book, with its downfalls however.
Throughout the book the main character comes of as alittle whiny.
Her love interest is Very protective. Which i usually love in stories but in this book
it was kind of over kill. It sounded like he was way too possesive of her.
Other than thoes things i really enjoyed this book

This book was recommended to me by people in a book club but I did not enjoy it. I don't know if the culture was too different from my own or if it was the constant message or praying the giving everything up to God. It was not well written and not an interesting story.
