The Little Unicorn Chu

Rate this book
The Little Unicorn Chu Loving bedtime stories for children The Little Unicorn is a captivating children’s book all about a little unicorn called Chu who lives on the planet Sparkly. Chu loves to do ballet, as he loves to twist and twirl and stand up on tiptoe. He is a good, well-behaved unicorn with one bad habit, which is a tendency not to listen to his mother or his kindergarten teachers. They are forever telling the little unicorn not to talk to strangers that he does not know. The words just float over Chu’s little unicorn head though and because of this, he finds himself in a potentially dangerous situation with a strange unicorn. Luckily, his teacher sees what is happening and rescues Chu. The little unicorn learns a valuable life lesson and from that moment on ignores strangers. For ages 4-5 years. Stunningly illustrated throughout. Written in rhyme. Teaches a valuable life lesson. A fun rhyming bedtime story or everyday story for your little ones with a serious and clear message about not talking to strangers. The following verse is repeated in the story making it easy to understand. “Stay away from all those you don’t know. “If you don’t know the unicorn, then turn and go!” Download your copy of The Little Unicorn Chu b> by scrolling up and clicking "Buy Now With 1-Click" button.

This is a cute tale about a unicorn who is friendly and obedient, except for the fact he allows himself to get so immersed in an activity that Chu doesn’t hear what others are saying. Chu is playing outside his kindergarten class one day and his mother is late picking him up from school. An adult unicorn comes along and offers Chu his favorite kind of candy bar, then suggests that Chu walk with him. Chu’s teacher notices the stranger just in time and calls Chu back to the schoolhouse. Chu finally realizes how he put himself in danger. He learns to be a more careful listener.

This tale is written in rhyme with simple and colorful illustrations. Perhaps it goes on a little bit longer than necessary, but it is a good way to explain the danger of talking to strangers to preschoolers. Highly recommended to parents and teachers.

This is a wonderful book that shows an important issue on a level that the little ones will understand how important it is. it shows that children should not talk to strangers. If I was still at the grade school library, I would read this to all twenty classes. This is also A conversation starter book. Oh the conversations we would have had. If you have not read the book, here is what it is about.
Chu is a good boy and a unicorn. He cleans his room and puts away his toys. He does not always listen, though. He likes to dance. And dance. And dance. A stranger came for Chu at her preschool. What did she do? Did she go with him?
I found this book on a website for free for an honest review.

This is a very clever children's book that has the 'stranger-danger' message contained within its rhyming story about a young unicorn who's so busy dancing and dreaming that he doesn't listen when his parents and teachers warn him about it - and almost goes with a bad unicorn as a result. My nieces thought some of the pictures let the book down a bit, and my youngest niece thought the 'baddie' was too scary looking for younger readers. However, they really enjoyed the story and we would recommend it for all young unicorn fans.

I felt that the story was a little too heavy for young children. The lesson is important but in the way it was wrote it was at times a bit much that would go over a young child's head. The font used made it difficult to read as well.

The lesson is don't talk to strangers. The story is told in rhyme and it is cute since it is about unicorns. My biggest issue with the Kindle version is the lack of illustrations, it was an awful lot of white space for a children's picture book.

Too long

Too long for young children, the way it is written tends to young Children, however it’s too long and it doesn’t have enough pictures for young children

Story with a message

Colorful illustrations and beautiful pictures but the story style is a little to dark with it's message and meaning for my taste.
