Kelly is a forgotten girl, whose single mother much prefers her "perfect" older brother to her. When her mom decides to run for Mayor, the family gets put under pressures they hadn't expected, and cracks begin to form in their otherwise perfect life. The mom in this book made me SO angry, and I'm still not over it! This is a quick, enjoyable read that many people can relate to. I recommend it for anyone looking for a realistic fiction novel about family dynamics and the frustrations of being misunderstood and underappreciated.
