Dominic: I don't even recognize my best friend, Dante, anymore. Especially not after what he did to me. Turning me into some vampire/wolf monster. I don't even know what to do next and I'm still hungry. God, I can't do this... I can't kill innocent people for food. What am I going to do?

Noel: Waking up tonight, I've got a few things on my mind. First things first, I've got a sexually frustrated brother in the dungeon who's probably going out of his mind with the need to release. I promised I wouldn't make him wait, so I won't. But after that... Theoden has left the fate of the prisoner in our cell, Jules, up to me. He's a friend of mine, I recruited him, but now I'm supposed to decide if he lives or dies. I can't help but feel that this is a test, one I can't fail.

Deacon: Oh, the look on Theoden's face when he realized that I outsmarted him. I bet that doesn't happen often, if at all. In the end, I have more territory that I don't have to share. I did it all without jeopardizing my alliance with him. Now, we just have to see what Laurent and Akio will do next.

Kendrick: I must say, things are turning out to be very interesting. I didn't expect to have to deal with the female Alpha mate of Laurent when I took him out. But she is proving to be fiesty and I like that in a woman. This tournament to decide who gets to keep this territory may prove to be one of the most entertaining things I've seen in a long time. Still, regardless of the outcome... I've already decided that this entire colony is mine for the taking.

Theoden: Something isn't right and I don't like when things don't go according to how I expect them to. There should have been an attack on Josef's territory from Laurent and Akio, but nothing. Are they pulling back now that they know Deacon betrayed Selena or is there something else at play? I don't like the unknown and Josef and I need to figure out just what in the hell is going on and fast.

Warning: This dark fantasy series is highly addictive, and fans have complained that it's all they can think about, oftentimes re-reading each book until their next fix. Be further warned: This serial contains strong adult content not meant for sensitive eyes as each episode will be filled with dark, twisted, violent, raunchy and steamy scenes between powerful, sexy men that will either offend you or get ya revved up. This series will not be pulling any punches, and it won’t apologize for hurting your feelings, either. You’ll find no fluff and ruffles here. The vampires are not misunderstood, hopeless romantics looking for love. The werewolves are not cute and cuddly and the dragons aren’t the ones from your childhood. This is NOT a romance.

About The Maniac Who Wrote These Books:

I'm the author of deliciously dark, sexy, and thrilling MM fiction in various genres. I corrupt readers with salacious tales of possessive men staking their claims on the men who make their blood rise in certain places. I know... I should be ashamed, but I'm shameless. I'm a public menace that can't be stopped, and my characters are rude, sassy, charming, arrogant, and hotter than sinners in hell. They tell me what they want and I follow orders. When I'm not hunched over my keyboard typing away, I love to watch movies and TV shows (You should check out my reviews.)

More twists than a knotted rope in the conclusion to part one

Well Nicholas Bella really is a master plotter, I had absolutely no clue where this concluding part to the opening chapter of his Odin's Colony was going.

As ever, this entry is filled with brutality and epic sexuality and a number of huge wtf moments which I'm not going to spoil!

This book is all about Deacon, Kendrick with a side of Theoden. And soooo much Dominic who I don't really care for nor understand why we get his PoV so much since he's not really a main character in the story.

Speaking of MC's Joseph might as well die off for all the appearance he has made this season. His character has just fizzled into the background, only to be mentioned in passing. He was portrayed as being badass, ruthless, smart and cunning. And he was until he mated Dante, then all I see is a pushover that I have no idea how was able to keep his pack or take over it. Deacon (even though I dislike him) is the true cunning wolf in this series and I expected more planning like that from Joseph since they SAY over and over how dangerous Joseph is but to be honest I've yet to see it since he even lost the one sneeky assault he planned while Deacon has been successfully leading Theoden by the nose for this whole season. I guess I expected more from Joseph's character because of how he was introduced. Or at least some effort to double cross Theoden and get his pack and land back. But no, he doesn't do anything so we don't even get his PoV in this book at all.

I guess his character has been switched by the author for Dominic, which is sad for me since I don't really care for him at all. He's just Noel 2.0 and I already have a Noel in this series. But since Noel has also sorta faded into the background I guess that's why we get a new shiny turned rebel to take his place.

All in all this season was pretty mellow compared to the others, at least for me. As the stakes rise I feel less and less engaged since there's no time to build up or enjoy the power up before someone/something bigger and badder comes around the corner. I remember when season 1 was just about getting Noel to submit, season 2 about introducing the weres and more of the world and so on. There was a moment, chapers even to feel out the characters and their emotions and their plans, but now its saturated with so many secondary characters and each getting their PoV that the original characters voices of Joseph, Dante, Noel, Ty and Theoden are just gone.

This turned out to be a longer review than planed, but I guess it shows how I'm feeling. Neither satisfied or unsatisfied. So 3 stars it is.

Nicholas has been gone for a while but this was well worth the wait. So much was jammed packed into this Season One finale. A must read. Highly recommend!

Kendrick is ready to attack Akio, Deacon, Josef, Teoden and King Evander. He's ready to kill them and take their territories. He decimated Akio's pack and he march toward Deacon.
Theoden made it clear that Deacon will have to deal with it alone without his help. Deacon is ready to fight dirty and Theo prepared himself and his sons to be the next to be attack. Kendrick is powerful and he has an agenda ... take their territories... All their territories!

HOLY SHIT... Nicholas Bella aka Boss outdid himself with this book. I didn't see the twists coming, all of them, when I thought I was done with one, BAM, something else comes and the end made me scream in frustration "no!no!no!no!no!" while clicking on my kindle hoping there will be another chapter or something else. I couldn't put the book down, I was completely hooked in the plot, it was like I was in a rollercoaster. It was fast, dynamic with twist and turn and at the end I just wanted to make another round.
Now I have to wait for the next episode and its pure torture.

BRAVO BOSS!! Really BRAVO

Hands down this was an amazing wrap up to the things happen on Odin Colony. The Author entices you enough to want to return for the next chapters without making it a cliffhanger which is appreciated. Definitely plan on reading follow on books.

This is the fourth and final Episode of Season one of (The Odin Chronicles )

This was an amazing and exciting Episode WOW Kendrick came to kick Ass and took names but I'm kind of disappointed did all of those Alphas died so easily . And the twist keep coming as Elliot turned out to be Kendrick 's mate gasp did not see that coming . Not true I kind of thought that Kendrick would find his mate I was betting that it would have been Dominic instead of Elliot . Anyway NOOOO not the Dragon king come on Author you made this too easy for Kendrick to take over he hardly had any opposition . Frankly the only characters that I care about is Theoden and his boy's grandchildren included but known a new threat has reared their ugly head king Ara's crazy ex rival who's out to get our boy Theoden . Can't wait until season two comes out .

OMG was this book amazing!!!!!!

You Will Bow Down is the perfect ending to Season One of The Odin Chronicles! So much has happened! I was so worried how Kendrick Sahr would end his campaign for the ownership of Odin Colony because there are so many characters I love and would hate to see die. Like Deacon and Elijah. I love their relationship, especially since you find out that Deacon and Elijah haven’t touched anyone except for each other in nearly a month. I like that. To be honest, I was disappointed that the author had Deacon cheating on Elijah, even right in front of him at times.
In every shifter book I have read that had the idea of soulmates in it,(And there have been many!) the two mates were extremely loyal to each other and never thought about, let alone had the desire to, be intimate with anyone else. I was very disappointed with you, Nicholas Bella, that you had Deacon screwing other men and even had Deacon being dismissive and rude to Elijah whenever he would complain to Deacon about him being unfaithful. So I was very happy when Deacon had stated he had only been having sex with Elijah and no one else for about a month. And of course Elijah had only ever been with Deacon since the day they met. Even though the two mates had made a deal that Elijah could be intimate with others as well, even though it was obvious that Elijah wanted a monogamous relationship with Deacon. I’m desperately hoping the monogamy will continue in Season Two of The Odin Chronicles. And that it will be the same for soulmates Dante and Josef and soulmates Elliot and Kendrick. Although with Kendrick being a dragon, who knows.
Elliot and Kendrick being soulmates really threw me for a loop although I am thankful for it because it was the only thing that saved Deacon’s life and as I mentioned before, he’s one of my favorite characters! Elliot is a top and he’s now going to have to bottom for Kendrick. I cannot wait to see how that plays out.
Theoden survives by using vampire speed and he wraps his hand around Kendrick’s heart and then promptly blackmails the Alpha King into being an ally and into turning Theoden into a dragon knight, rather than yanking out Kendrick’s heart and killing him. Theoden almost dies during the process but comes out on top as always, and is now also immune to werewolf venom.
So Laurent, Akio, Akio’s mate Samuel and Akio’s entire pack actually, as well as King Evander all die at the end of Kendrick Sahr’s campaign to own Odin Colony. That leaves Theoden, Deacon and Kendrick as its main rulers. Well Dante and Josef as well but they have to follow Theoden’s orders so I don’t count them and King Ara as well but he lives on another continent now so I don’t really count him either. Truly an incredible book! Thank you so much Nicholas Bella!!!!!!
Oh and P.S. to the author, there was a printing error where I think you meant to put Elliot said, and not Elijah said like you did. I put a note in my Kindle Highlights for you to find it in case you want to fix it later on. Just thought I’d let you know in case you read this review, Nicholas. Fantastic writing!!!! 😊

For so long, he’d been without a companion. Who knew the events that led up to this opportunity for him to have love started with so much blood and death? That was the silver lining in our world.

Kendrick continues his winning streak (Laurent/Darla; Akio; Evander).

Dominic’s struggles are vaguely reminiscent of Noel’s, way back in the beginning of this saga. They just don’t pack the same narrative punch.

Deacon is pleased with his new territories. He’s being loyal to Elijah and not screwing around…at all. Kinda weird.

Théoden and Josef learn of Laurent’s defeat at the hands of Kendrick.

Tylendel and Giorgio have really bonded. It’s great to see.

Something is just lacking with Kendrick. Most of NB’s characters are well-constructed; yet Kendrick is paper-thin. Almost like a caricature.

Not a huge surprise, but Théoden and Marco are not hot together. Very mechanical.

Elliot remains vile. Deacon fights “dirty.”

I could see why he was the youngest Alpha, yet managed to hold his own. Deacon didn’t play by the rules. He made them up as he went along.

So glad Noel has one of the longest chapters in this novel. Such a breath of fresh air.

Teamwork to help Donovan recover.

Dominic’s sexual awakening is quite something. Not the kind of awakening a lesser author would even attempt. Well done.

Huge eye roll at the reveal of Kendrick’s mate. Seriously?!?

Sounding is still foul.

Théoden makes a huge gamble. And it pays dividends.

Not okay with Alexander and the Epilogue. Extremely disturbing.

One of Bella’s more consistent volumes in ages. The action is rarely even arousing anymore, but the plot is strong and still remains compelling.

I also had to smile to myself that Théoden had chosen me to give these gifts to. He’d met so many humans in his lifetime, especially as old as he was, and only a handful made an impression on him enough to want to sire them. I was special in that regard.

Mmm mmm... Good! 💋

The mind of Nicholas Bella is a wonderland. **sigh...

These characters stay with you long after the book finishes, leaving you salivating and near delirious for the next one.

While I loathe Deacon, Kendrick and any character that would challenge Theoden (because he is what makes me want to bow down), I still have to give max respect to them for their strength, passion, and tenacity as leaders. In this series there are no bad guys, or good guys, only families (races of supes, packs). Fate is blurring so many lines though and this is helping some, hindering others and changing the rules of war. Sooooo freakin' awesome! Wolves finding their mates in other packs after centuries, dragons falling in love with wolves, and hybrid wolf/ dragon meeting hybrid dragon/ vampire... duh dun duh...Helzz YEAH!!!!! GODDESS I love this series!

Nicholas Bella delivered like we all come to expect and without any excuses. Intense, raw, crazy and hot. Big WoW factor.

When you're ambitious you have to come big or stay at home, Kendrick did that over and over. He isn't a way fav of mine but maybe I warmed up to him just a tiny bit.

Deacon the brilliant strategist, whew! he thinks on his feet and he has to he's playing a dangerous game. He still got game with me though, his mate rocks.

Theodon, Oh my F'ing G. As brilliant as Deacon is in his chess game, the Prince of the City got it down to a science.

The rest fills in the blanks wonderfully, amazing characters and detailed storyline, You can't help but get invested. Sit back and enjoy the intrigue, the raw dirty dirty and the danger that caress' the surface. Bravo Mr. Bella and a great book, well done.

My love toward this series is endless, so that's why I'm torturing myself with the audio. Every time I think, this time will be different, and I won't care with the accent and my favorite character's voice...
Turns out, this time will never came until the narrator is the same. Sorry, but I love Theoden and Tylendel's voice the way they were in the New Haven audios. The Odin Chronicle audios are so different and I'm suffering every time Theoden speaks with those accent (yes, it's probably the way he would talk because he's from Italy originally, but argh, it's driving me crazy).

Anyway!!! The story is awesome and I was on the edge of my chair every time. I knew what will happen because I read the ebook version, but still.
And OMG, Kendrick! I still hate him in this book.

That ending though... :)

This was so awesome!

OMG! That ending wasn't anywhere near the realm of what I imagined to be expecting when I started this book. It was sooooo much better!

There were so many moving parts going on in this finale to season one and the intrigue between Theoden, Kendrick, and Deacon as they each tried to out-manouver each other was delightful. Added to that, we had Dominic coming to understand the changes to his life resulting from Dante's embrace, and everything changing in Odin Colony.

I can't wait to see what happens in the next season!

What can I say?. An absolutely riveting set of series. This last book in the Odin Chronicles sets the scene for many more books to come. They may be fated mates and lots of sex but these books are not romantic. I started the first book knowing this and I gave it a chance. Twenty odd books on and read one after the other, and the storyline just gets better. I have no classification to give here. They are certainly dark, dirty, bloodthirsty, and highly engrossing. I can’t wait to read more. Nicholas hurry 😁

AWESOME! TEAM THEODEN

Finally the wait is over but I need more now. OMG this is such an awesome series. I was a little afraid towards the end and thought this would be my last book if things didn't go the way that I had hope but I should've known that Nicholas Bella wouldn't let me down. I love all the characters but my loyalties lie in the House of Theoden. This book is exciting and the suspense was killing me. Please hurry with season 2.

Love, as always

I love NB and was over joyed at seeing the longer length of this episode! So much love!

I hate that there hasn’t been any down time for everyone to get acclimated to changes since season 1. I love how things worked out with Theodin but not as crazy about Deacon.... still haven’t really warmed up to him lol.

Still can’t wait to see what the next season brings (=

OMG I just love this series. I wish it could go on forever. I wish Nicholas Bella could write faster. So much delicious taboo goodness. This series is so much fun. I love the world of Theodon, Donovan, Noel, Tylendel and all of Theodons sons and dragon allies.
And I love to HATE Deacon and now this dude Kendrick. Both such j@ck@$$e$.
Another great entry into this fun and fantastic world.

Odin Colony is getting shook up with a new dragon/wolf hybrid king making his move.
Lots of surprises and twists in this episode. Of course it wouldn’t be a New Haven novel without some scorching supernatural sex! This installment does not disappoint as the political plots thicken and a new enemy is on the horizon.
Don’t miss this amazing narrated audible version. The narrator embodies these characters and they come to life from the pages!

Seemed to e to be more political intrigue than the down and dirty I've come to expect. I must admit I was surprised by the twist, and am looking forward to next book.
