This is the story of a divorced straight construction worker (Richard) who gets seduced by his gay neighbor. Richard is a muscled man with two sons, eighteen and twenty years old. This naughty neighbor gradually poses control over the straight man in an amusing way and slowly make him a homosexual man. The construction man tries to resist but all that resistance wouldn't succeed. He finds his desire for gay sex to be a lot more intense than what he earlier thought! The story consists of five chapters and is told from the protagonist's perspective.

Under Construction is the first book in the trilogy carrying the same name and the first book I read written by Richard Manley. If you love a story to have lots of sex scenes, then this one is definitely for you. Not only many sex scenes but various themes as well. I think one would expect it to be raunchy when it involves construction men and it is. The first reason I chose this book to read was the cover! I mean when the author chooses porn star Spencer Reed for his cover he must have a great taste! And his writing must be as hot as his taste in men. The answer is yes! I was not wrong about that 😁. The story's main theme of straight to gay is arousing and Richard Manley made it more arousing when he made the main character be under the complete influence of his gay neighbor. He was completely under his control and by the end of the book both the men openly revealed this new relationship. The story ends up with someone watching the whole last action scene. The main character does not reveal who was watching but the next book will surely tell. I am certain of who was that person and I like the direction the author is taking this story to. I guess the sequel will be even more steamy than this one! Grab it for some sexy raunchy times.

There is nothing I enjoy reading more about, than those stories involving first-time, straight-to-gay, and domination themes with fully,"Fleshed" out sex scenes. Ready to move on to the next part of this series.
